I never was a CUBS fan. Being a Canadian, there was only the Jays, however, the 2016 World Series was the most intense series in my lifetime. YOU CUB FANS are the best. I still tear up watching this, ordered the Chicago Tribune when they won. From 1 Canadian to all of Chicago, damn,...I am so proud of you guys. You deserve this one so much. After watching the cubs my whole life I feel in that moment his expression of near disbelief was shared among generations of Cubs fans everywhere. Members of my family from the past that didn't live long enough to watch this game, realizing how lucky I am to be here in this moment.

As much as I dislike the Cardinals and as sweet as this was to see the Cubs win the World Series since I'm a diehard Cubs fan the Cardinals World Series was I think overall a better series.
What if I told you that 17 minutes of rain could end 108 years of drought?
That rain delay was one of the most tense short moments I've ever experienced. The bar I was at pretty much emptied out as everyone decided it was time to watch the end from home. My friends & I stayed, along with a table of older folks who were determined to see the end. I think we went through 3 rounds of beers during the delay, and I don't regret the hangover at all :)

Damn I will never forget watching game 7 from 1 to 6 AM (I live in croatia) while having school next morning. I have always been a cubs fan (even though no one in my country knows anything about baseball) but that season was the first one I followed for real and the best one. That team is my favorite team of all time in any sport. Go cubs!!!

Andrew Nite can't even spell Chapman right and had some poor transitions but the emotions it brings up is deserving of the grandest award in life. Nothing can come close to November 2, 2016 in anyone's life. There is no higher feeling than the final out brings.

This is beautiful. I'm a lifelong Cubs fan and this will stay with me forever. Mad respect to Cleveland. They gave us hell in this series right up to the end...which makes it that much more dramatic. I hope that Cleveland also gets their ring someday.

Thanks for this video, my father was born in 1945. That is noteworthy. He was a lifelong Cubs fan. All I ever heard about was the Chicago Cubs growing up. I was never interested in baseball, but after he was diagnosed with terminal cancer I watched this series with him. I KNEW they would win, and that he would end his life seeing his dream come true. He passed on shortly after this win. I will watch this video often, and think fondly of my father. An American patriot, Navy veteran, and die hard Cubbie. I love you dad. GO CUBS!!!!

Still can not believe that Cubs won the World Series. The longest drought in sports is over. I am just crying over the fact that people have waited a life time to see the Cubs win the world series and they didn't even get to see it. I am so blessed that I was able to see this in my life time. This is history. This will never be forgotten. True Chicago Cubs fans that have been there from the time they were born to now truly understand this feeling. This is amazing.

My grandfather, my father and I are lifelong Cub fans. Three generations watched every WGN televised Cubs game that we could. My grandfather passed away October 27,1976 and 4O years later, my father and I watched these Cubs finally win another World Series in 2016. Thanks for a great video reminder. Watching it brings joyful tears to my 58 year old eyes all over again.

Cleveland was barely mentioned in this series. It was all Chicago the whole time. Plus Cleveland had two really difficult AL East teams to beat but I still wanted Chicago to win

I've been an avid baseball fan all my life (Yankees and Dodgers, especially). Watching the Cubs win in 2016 was nothing short of magical. They dominated much of the regular season, and pulled out all the stops to win. No one deserved this victory more than they did. Here's hoping that the Cubs are just as mighty in 2017 :)

So awesome, I am 54 years old, grew up in Kenosha WI and was a cub fan my whole life, so this is real deal for me. Used to run home from school to catch the game on when 9, which we got loud and clear and free over the air in Kenosha, see, Kenosha got Milwaukee TV and Chicago TV, but the Brewers were never on any way. So a true suffering cub fan today is rejoicing. Thanks for the great video and the girl who sang at the end you made me cry. Really really cry. Good kind with nose going and all. As a Cleveland Indians diehard fan, that was one heck of a series and even though it was back and forth, if any team deserves to win it, it's the Chicago Cubs.
My father tried to raise me as a Reds fan since he was from Cincy, but something drew me to the cubs as a child. And I was blessed enough to get to watch this series with my dad. He choked up just as I did watching this because he knew how much it meant to me.. This was more than sports for a lot of people. Even those who were never fans before. And beyond the game, it gave me great memories with my father. Thank you Cubs for one hell of an emotional rollercoaster. Best ride of my life.

I have been a Cubs fan my whole life. I grew up in Oklahoma and I used to watch Harry Carey and the Cubs ever since I was young. Now I live in Colorado and I am still a Cubs fan. Game 7 was the highlight of my life. I am a Cubs fan a Bears fan and a Bulls fan. That night made history, not only for me, but for the city of Chicago. The Cubs are the greatest team in history. 108 years in the making. 2016 was history in the making.
