Tor systems dont group like that, they are independant systems and used to protect army forces. Tunguska and Pantsir whoud be used to protect AA systems of greater value. As in sim, ZSU-23 is deadly in range, now imagine 30mm radar controled systems. Thats why A-10s, helis and close atack tactics are obsolete...
Just 6 planes against 20 enemy aircraft. Quite the defense that you guys put up. Tbh, in aerial warfare, the attacker has a noticeable advantage over the defenders
It was great, I just think that the tactic of deploying SAM and Tor air defense system was not correct, actually Tor and SAM should be positioned to cover each other, for example Tor system is short range air defense system that can target anti-radar missiles fired at SAM's radars, and S300 can also target high-altitude and far away planes and missiles with high volumes and high speeds.
damn... lot of people who are apparently real life fighter pilots in the comments and are ignoring the fact you are still playing a sandbox sim. thanks for the awesome upload with cinematics!
Because this is a game, not a simulation as many think. Properly simulated Fox 3 Russian missiles would miss over 75% of long range shots against modern fighters. As it is, these have unlimited fuel and fragmentary warheads. The real ones glide except for 6 seconds at launch and 6 seconds at the high point of their trajectory. The real warheads are more like shrapnel strung together by a wire that flies in a very very narrow cone. In other words, any hit is all or nothing. The shorter range missiles are modeled more accurately.
Normally I like these vids but that many missiles on a Russian flanker period is ridiculous but that many missiles on a flanker that is already airborne when they are notified of a incoming strike. Very realistic
Hey Longshot - I watch all your videos, thank you. Small suggestion - sometimes the editing is too quick, so one can't tell what is being shown. I think it would be a good idea to allow at least 0.3-0.5 seconds after each cut to let the new scene establish itself before the action happens. E.g. if cutting to an external shot of a plane getting hit by a missile, don't make the cut immediately before the explosion...give it a small bit of time for the viewer to recognise, eg "OK, this is a Flanker" before it explodes. Generally viewers need a small space of time after each cut to recognise where you are before you can start processing what's happening
Interesting mission, but with all the SAM at the airfield, wouldn't the US Strike have included more SEAD assets? I'd have thought at least 4 Vipers leading the way with HARMs.
If only mod makers had SDK... We would be able to implement the pesa/aesa like radar & other avionics/countermeasure's that come with the Su-35 vs using FC3 avionics.
Guys, this was embarrassing. There's unlikely and then there's ridiculous. And while the exterior of the mod looks terrific, the cockpits are so low-effort that I flashed back to my F-19 Stealth Fighter days. And I wouldn't be writing this if I was not, and remain, such a huge fan of you both.
I doubt the USA would risk such an attack with planes and would have its navy just plaster the place with Tomahawks cruise missiles from they destroyers, submarines and cruisers off the cost of syria
All the Russian aircrafts on air were downed, so they did hit. Plus maybe it's because many of the Mig-29s & Su-27s were firing the R-77-1 and cause of their "cage-like" fins they are more maneuverable, so harder to dodge. With the downside being less range
@@Mgaming61 sure, but there were only like 6 ruskies in the air and what? 20? western aircraft. Also, flying high over flak and other shit to release drag bombs?
Hello sir next video make out on Indian air force yesterday in Indian air force air exercise indian air force Tejas fighter jet missed all Targets air to air and air to ground also
This game looks phun, but the weapon modelling leaves a lot to be desired. "Missing" the runway from an F-15E Strike Eagle? On what planet?!? The the AMRAM not detonating at minimum closure? Oy. It's a game, after all.
If only the Russian jets were as good in real life as you make them out to be in this game... Ukraine is littered with them--and the F-16 hasn't even arrived yet.
@@Hyposonic Theirs propaganda from both sides so nobody really knows the true number of losses but I'm sure your probably the type to believe anything you read when it comes to Russian losses since you dislike Russian aircraft. That's how you Russian hating American fanboys are and that's fine. Just remember that It's war & Planes will be lost. Russia never claimed to be invincible & personally I think the war should only be between Ukraine and Russia. Other countries should mind their own businesses and deal with their own issues than to be helping Ukraine with equipment. If they lose then they lose.

The Dynamic Duo doing work. Very entertaining and pretty even fight. Thanks for including the tallies at the end of the video!
Thank you
Your production quality is getting better and better. Keep it up! Need my DCS fix

But ZSU operators are drunk Russians so their machines sit idle.
So TORs replace what the strela's did for the soviet's right? Did Tunguskas replace shilkas as front line SPAA or are they too valuable?
Some landowner owes money to Longshot for the tree and lawn trimming service he did while he was trying to evade those missiles.
This man needs more view and likes he is amazing. Thank you Long-Shot!
Your duos with GS are always so fun to watch. Like a mini movie.
That was the worst execution of SEAD I've ever seen... Holy crap
I agree that was a Charlie Foxtrot of a SEAD operation
I came here to say that.
Looks like the AI was having an error 404 here.
But this is what will happen in real life by the way.
@@jeremyaudet3810 Charlie Foxtrot = CF = Clusterfuck?

Just six planes, but a whole lot of AAA and anti-aircraft missile batteries.
Thank you LS and GW, entertaining as always. Please keep up the good work.

@LongShot this is perhaps by far one of your best videos I’ve seen! I really like you doing a lot more human coop and MP flying ! Keep it up! 👍🏽
Thank you
Excellent editing and a great watch! Thank you, LS!

Damn, this was an excellent editing job. Loved it!
Phew!! Tough crowd in the comments. I thought it was cool regardless of ground asset placement
I just woke up. Saw the notification. Thought it was for real!!! LOL. Groggy
Why didn't the Strike Eagles join the fight after dropping bombs? They were carrying AMRAAMs, too.
They were strike package.... AMRAAMs were for emergency so they buy some time to evade while enemy will defend their AMRAAMs .
@@shubhankarsingh2605 Yes they were the strike package...until after the strike.
@@radfahrer875 lol yes even GS was there but he got hit by eagles. ❤️

At the end you needed to take a bicycle to get back to base...😅
Love how you did the cinematics dude. That was a frick'n cool video man. Good to see you with GS. 🤘
Sick cinematics. M6 two fav DCS pilots…this is bliss
WOW!!! What a great video! Perfect editing. Great scenario. Thank You Two!!!
Expensive strike for putting some holes in a runway that can be filled in by a dozer in two hours!
Great video you guys flying together is always good fun and entertaining.
I like you showed the score at the end...!!!
Cinematic is insane. Well done

not really, strike group would never been able to get that close to an russian airfield
Russian AWACs or ground radars would pick it up 100s of miles away
12:43 Managed to “shoot” not “shot” at GS (present vs future tense). Just feedback mate 👍.
Love when you two do videos together.
6:34 - And what a sight that is. 😎
I hope you are doing very well, LS!!!!! Keep doing this awesome job!!!
I think about you doing a Su-33 fleet defender video. Idk if it is a good idea or not.
And this is why the US developed the F-22 and F-35.

You could really make a movie version of this. You and GS!!
Yeay, another vid with GS!!! 😃
Why do the Eagles drop high drag bombs at that altitude?
Does the Su35 still cause a crash/conflict in DCS if the team flanker’s Su30 is installed Ie can you only have one mod installed at a time ?
Finally you both playing for the good guys 🥰
What are the wingtip stores? ECM pod?
Yep
What's the song on the outro?
Waow, 15 mins flies so fast watching your vidéos. I have a question real quick, are all of the other jets bots or players ?
Awesome!! Best movie i ever seen!
That make me to grit my teeth!
Place the Pantsir and Tunguska systems next time.
I like the video but Jesus Christ the A.I had serious mental illnesses in this video lol
was GS in the vid too?

Those Flankers are a little slow to scramble no? Costly for both sides, but US won strategically.
Hell of a fight!!!
Great attempt at an impossible task.
Any idea where can I download the SU 35 mod? The links I foubd are not working. Thanks for the videos mate. Getting addicted to them
