I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthawg , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.

The drop tanks aren't about the cost to the tax payer. It's all about shipping everything half way around the word. Everything from socks and drawers to drop tanks; engines and munitions. Absolutely everything has to be shipped.
The Data-link pod is for the Walleye and later the SLAM and SLAM-ER weapons. It's what allows communication between the weapon and the pilot. The Data-link you are referencing is the Link-16 Data-link which is an inbuilt data-link that allows the transfer of sensor data from C3 and other Link-16 donor aircraft. No pod required.
Never a dull moment when you two are in the same video... just needed an interior shot from the tower of some coffee spilling with those approach/landing shenanigans

Was thinking when on return to carrier, GS passed beneath you, it would've looked sick to see his POV looking up through his canopy at your underside.

In addition to all the other "video arcade game" sounds the F/A-18 makes, it should make the Pac Man sound when you launch a missile. It would be hilarious to hear the plane going "wokka wokka wokka wokka" as the missile is chasing down a target.

Your videos are always so cinematic! Glorious beauty shots of all the jets any time they do something interesting and a few extra just because they are awesome; I love it!
Edit: The shaking screen jolt quick cuts at the end are a little harsh and jarring, otherwise, top quality as usual!

I’ve downloaded DCS, installed the A4 mod, installed Opentrack head tracker, reading up on the A4. I’ve been saving for months to upgrade my laptop and buy my HOTAS.
HOTAS was meant to arrive today but delivery has been delayed.
I can’t wait to finally begin flying in DCS

I don’t game for sim on DCS but I live vicariously through you and GS. That said I’m not familiar with the weapon systems of the Hornet. Is it normal to have HARM on your HUD when shooting FOX 2’s? Just curious because your missiles didn’t track. Otherwise, I love your intensity bro. It adds a level of realism.

just to answer your datalink issues:
the datalink pod is for the cruise missiles and i think whatever the tv guided bomb was
you were getting no datalink info because you have to press datalink twice and then press on, you shouldve also been getting radar symbols if it was working.
LS you need to breath brother, GS is all calm but you sound like you are going to pass out from lack of O2, or maybe you are just excited. LoL

Are Super Hornets not modeled in DCS yet? Cause the USN doesn't fly the Charlie/Delta variants anymore. USMC does but they ain't gonna be the first on the cats to fleet defend. Just saying 🤷♂️ Still love the content tho 🤘

I wish someone would attempt an actual MILSIM version of a real (case 1) carrier landing cycle. 800ft break, 600ft pattern altitude, genuine approach turn, and roll out on glideslope and centerline and on speed. Then fly the ball like an actual pilot. Everything I've seen amongst even the best DCS TH-camrs, is a joke. There's no such thing as a 3-mile daytime straight-in. There's no such thing as being low or off-centerline. Maybe most of your viewers don't care how you land (I get it - they want to see explosions and missiles and afterburners), but as a former Naval Aviator and LSO I could watch carrier landings all day and never get bored. Other Naval Aviators would say the same. Just for once it'd be nice if you took that portion seriously. I promise you this - no Naval Aviator would trade a good reputation around the Boat for an extra kill or success on a combat mission. Never. "Boat Cred" is everything.
Please don't get me wrong - I enjoy your content and sub to both of you guys - but even though you are capable of getting aboard, from what I've seen you'd be turning un your wings immediately.

Yes, I believe these are bots provided by DCS. LS and GS will sometimes fight with other human opponents though
