Before watching this I considered myself a very handy guy, capable of taking on lots of home projects. After watching this - my projects are the equivalent of changing a lightbulb. Amazing work - thanks for sharing.
I didn't think that I'd watch an entire hour of a house renovation, having watched several renovations videos lately. But damn, this hooked me immediately. The filming, the editing, the commentary, the right ammount of footage to not make it tedious to watch. And the house ended up looking beautiful, with every detail. As an architect, I truly loved it. Congratulations and now it's time to enjoy it. Greetings from Argentina.

It’s amazing to see someone choose to breathe new life into an old home, instead of razing it and starting over from the ground, up. Even though doing so, and doing it correctly, may have been MORE work. You did an amazing job - the house is gorgeous!

Very impressed with all the skills you acquired during the renovation and enjoyed watching your journey through the video. If your main work ends, at least you will never go hungry with the skills you gained from this build. Just hoping that you removed all the slags from from all the welds you laid down with the stick / arc ( slag being the black crust on the weld as it cools ) as condensation can collect between the weld and slag causing it to rust over time. Only have one hair to split; Cement is a bonding component that's mixed with sand to create Mortar. Mortar bonds stone, bricks or blocks to build a wall or render and can be used as a floor screed. Cement mixed with aggregate makes concrete. Sorry but that was something that gets drummed into students at building colleges as cement wont work on its own without sand or aggregate. One thing that I didn't know about and am interested in finding out more, was the damp air extraction circulating system you installed. And I was very pleased to see you used the original roof tiles to finish the roof off, proper nice!
You have done an awesome job! I love how you taught yourself new skills as you went along. Wisdom comes with learning and patience. Great job and thanks for sharing.

Over the last 26 plus years I have redone houses, taken out the walls down to the studs, added new support beams, mudsills, done the electrical complete requiring, had plumbing and roofs replaced or redone, but dang all the times I have built or rebuilt with construction crews, the houses were modern houses, mostly from the twentieth century a few from the nineteenth century, here in Canada. The shear amount of hand work you have done is incredible!!!! Working with stone and walls that look too me be well over two hundred years old is mine blowing!!!!
Once again fantastic job!!! You house is beautiful!
Wow, you have done such an amazing job Nate, your place looks so good, all the long hours of work that you did
That view is incredible! Bravo mate!💪🏻
Incredible and inspirational. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Most people wouldn’t have the courage to take on such a massive project-ESPECIALLY without a lot of experience or a huge crew! So jealous of all your hard work and gorgeous finished product. Bravo!
Thank you Mary & thank you for watching along!
Thanks for adding the commentary explaining what you are doing. What a job! And so worth it. The landscape is magnificent.
Very beautiful!! You are an inspiration Nate. Makes my project minuscule in comparison.Thank you!
This was so inspiring to watch, amazing transformation! well done!
Excellent you are the SUPERMAN of renovating!!!!. Are you architect? You know and do every step of the process, hard work!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
That is some 'base'. Your hard work certainly paid off and it looks like you acquired half a dozen useful skills along the way.
You have done an awesome job! I love how you taught yourself new skills as you went along. Wisdom comes with learning and patience. Great job and thanks for sharing.
