Again Jason shows how important it is to DOUBLE CHECK Your surroundings in a LOCK OUT because who would have figured that Drive thru window was open. And also i never cease to be amazed at his ability to determine lock brands and picking.
Really enjoy seeing these type of jobs. Wow places are left in a state when they are vacated. So that was a restaurant, the whole building needs a touch up, the place looks worn out and dated. Good to see how you deal with a lock in a panic bar. Thanks for this video cheers
Yet he showed the pins he dropped in. Doesn't matter, my Kronos would make short work of whichever way he pinned it up. Then again the lockbox for the keys is also a joke
Those pushbars are easier to disassemble than they look. Anyway, great on the job footage Jason! P.S. Do you know what restaurant this was? It looks like some sort of buffet.
I’ve had problems with the cams on those mortise locks slipping out of the internal “receiver” that operates the vertical rods inside that narrow stile door and eventually locking the customers out. Idk why it happens (they were all at the same strip mall). But I either had to use a thicker cam or bend the cam finger towards the “receiver” just enough so that it won’t pop out of the track on the internal vertical rod receiver. I took pictures and sent to Jackson hardware tech folks but they’ve never seen this before. It was at least 6 doors so far on a strip mall that I’ve had to fix. The key would get stuck in the lock because it couldn’t rotate back to 12oclock position to be removed due to cam being out of the receiver track. You ever see this problem?
@@odinslockllc oh yeah, if the spacer ring is off by even a tiny bit it happens. I had several schools full of them but we’ve fazed them out over the years. I’ve had to do the cam bending trick as well
Not sure if you heard me or not but at the 7 minute mark I was yelling how to get at the cylinder. I replaced one with CVR last week...not a lick of shade. No clearance under the door to replace the bottom guide meant trying to get the CVR into the hole from the top. Heat exhaustion is a real thing y'all.
OMG those panic bars were gross. I have never seen how the drive through windows secure - did not look very secure. What kind of Fast Food / Coffee joint was that?.
@@ImGumbyDangit Adams Rite hookbolt thumbturn only inside plus the little latch they had installed I think it’s been several things, not sure what the last was

Any shade or bonus AC has been a huge blessing this July. Nice one!

As always, thanks Jason for another video. That place has seen a little wear and tear!
Really great video... Of the floor.
@@dmeyer6994 the next one will be all ceiling and I’ll credit you
Great job as always Jason, and nice touch blurring out the bitting on those keys 😊 P.s. - nice hair 😁
Thanks for the video and go in enjoy the AC!
Lovely JITF Jason thankyou!
The ol' Lishi cowboy is quick on the draw to sensor that key! 👢🤠🔫

Love the rekey videos!
Great video. I could feel the temperature from here.
Hey can we get a work van tour? not sure if youve done one yet. thinking of getting an astro for my business and i wanted to see how yours was setup.
That looks like an old Wendy's at one point.
Thank you for sharing great video
Noticed a drilled out SFIC today at the local Dollar tree. Still in the lock housing. Should've asked them about it, but It was a Instakey.

No goo for me, I'm safe. Great job.
have a great day
Those rim cylinders can be a pain in the butt to line up the tailpiece to the panic bar. I found out a butter knife is my friend.
Nice, love a good vacant rekey.. but I bet you wish they all came in the shoulder seasons, looked hot, not fun.
3:17 "back up" or something. Congrats you caught an evp!
Goo of a rebuild .😊

Wondering how long that system has been running for
The restaurant goo is what makes the food so good..😂😅
That was a restaurant? I saw the walk-in freezer. But it looked like a clinic till then? Thanks, Jason!
looks like a Burger King
Knowledge is the trick…
Ha, I can tell you know what you’re doing because you blur the key bitting :) great video!
gotta love cold AC!

do you note the key bitting you pinned up the locks to, so if they call you again, you can just bring a working key with you?
@@squelchtone nope!
In fact I rekeyed a house last week like 8 doors. Today I have to go back and decode one cause they lost all 5 keys I gave them 🙄
@@selock - I assume you have a Lishi for a task like that. Or will you use some other method?
@@stevebabiak6997 Lishi or just remove the lock and use space and depth keys
@@selock - I figured Lishi because it’s probably easier, open and decode all at once.
Sir this was a Wendy's
Why do you blur the keys
Was trying to guess what the place was until I was the stickers on that door with the deadbolt.
gooo oh gross lol!
Why does bad camera men allways pointing at the floor, boring.
