Richard Burns, he was always such a calm and nice guy who was very peaceloving and generally loved life but then the cancer took him. Also he created one of the best rally games, so thats why he is the best in my books
Great video. Im rally fan for more than 20 years and there are lot of hero in a rally. Loeb, Sainz, Mcrae, .... I enjoed the most watching Sainz and McRae when they were driving Subaru Impreza.
Colin McRae Rally on the PS1 was also for me the game in which I fell in love with Rally. 😊
I'm a young teenager but a WRC fan since I was just a kid. My hero always has been Sebastian Loeb.
I'm not a driver, just a fan, but honestly there's not really a driver that I don't like in the present or the past.

Personally I’d have to say Richard burns (and petter!) mostly from playing wrc rally evolved and dirt rally (2016).
Marcus Gronholm, Mikko Hirvonen, Gigi Galli, so many names could make the list for me
yeah the fact know one Marcus shocked me
for me it has to be ken block. he was the person who got me into racing at all. his flat out all the time driving style just hit me in a way nothing like that had before. id seen racing before then, but since the first time i saw ken in a car, i absolutely fell in love with cars and racing and especially rally.

cant even watch wrc unless you pay. Bring back car brands n start streaming on youtube n this sport will be like it used to be with big following.
please explain the business model of making a multimillion dollar sport free to watch on youtube. maybe list some major international sports that do the same?
@@test-tl8dt hate to break it to you but sponsorship makes the company money its the teams that pay for ther cars and to attend the events. Thers literally hundreds of sports you can watch on free tv channels and on youtube. How do you think youtube works???? 😂😂🤓 Advertising pays youtubers and youtube. Ther is multiple events free on youtube. Im shure you can watch f1 too

@@Rab_Cee watching F1 would cost me 47 euro a month, WRC costs me 8 euro a month, I think it's pretty reasonable price. highlights where only thing you got back in a day, i'm okay with paying a little for being able actually watch rally, that wasn't possible before 2017
Colin mcrae. Simple. Statistically nobody will ever beat loeb/ogier, but nobody was better than colin. Hes a driver we just wont see another of again even from his own family
" nobody was better than colin ". It's not easy for me to be so affirmative. Colin was for sure a great driver, one of the best, no doubt. But I always think that Tommi was a better rallyman than him. Gronohlm was faster than him on gravel and Loeb beat him on the same car, on both tarmac and gravel. However, Colin was a magnicient driver, an artist, a genius.
@@johantibere8830 colin mcrae was a star, but a part of what made him that was his imperfection. he binned it so many times for no reason, just because it was his style. it added to his personality and "mystique" but also made him a worse competitor.
Colin crashed quite a lot honestly. I know people admire his style and the infamous "when in doubt go flat out" but he is one of the reasons why he only had 1 drivers championship
