- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated India's biggest Drone Festival - Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022 - on 27 May 2022 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Prime Minister also interacted with kisan drone pilots, witnessed open-air drone demonstrations and interacted with startups in the drone exhibition centre.

Drone Mahotsav is So Nice, Pride for all Indians.
It's such a shame to show this type of video only meant for publicity of picture boy. Other countries are making drone that carry missiles,arms and ammunition which are automated and currently used by Russia ,China, Pak,turkey,and us. Where as modi showing toy drone.🤣🤣🤣🤣

We are the new youth of India. We should focus on our skills not in just paper degrees without knowledge.
*I request PM Modi and Indian Government to simplify the approval process for tourism related drone photography, currently it is very cumbersome and police and related departments themselves are not aware about the rules and try to be an obstacle instead of being a facilitator in the approval process, India needs a single window approval desk to promote tourism by means of drone photography, think about it...*
Now a days drones are also used in terrorism. That's why it's difficult process

The drones can be misused for illegal activities such as Terrorism, Spying on someone or drugs, narcotics, smuggling. So it is necessary to monitor the activities. 🙏🇮🇳🙏

This is really so goooood. 😊 As kids we used to play with remote helicopters and were excited to control those tiny things that could fly....today drones are making a breakthrough in all spheres of life. "Drone pilot" sounds like a good vocation. I am keen to see how this gets implemented in combating women and children centric issues. Draw data from local CCTV cameras and immediately deploy a drone from the nearest police station to warn a child kidnapper or a woman abuser ? Or just put down a burglar? Sounds like law and order can truly become effective in our country with drones. But will the cops and lawyers want this automation? Thats the key. 😄

Belated but welcome move. However the prime focus must be on MOTORS and ELECTRONICS which are the heart of drone technology. These are not difficult to make but we MUST make them in India and get to economies of scale with govt subsidies. Anything imported from China will have a backdoor and it is folly to use Chinese components in defence and other critical areas.
