I just finished reading Part of Your World, and it was so good! I'm a massive Little Mermaid fan so seeing a new story with these characters was so refreshing, but also I loved how Liz Braswell stayed true to everyone's character and personality. I'm also a sucker for Ariel and Eric together, and literally every interaction together they had in the book made my heart swell with joy! There were some parts where I literally started screaming with joy out loud or even laughed a bit. Overall, it was a great story and I'm excited to read the other books in the series. Currently, I have the Sleeping Beauty book: Once Upon A Dream. I'm extremely curious to see what would happen if Aurora never woke up! But in the future I hope to read the Hercules one coming out this year and also the Aladdin one too.
Hi there. Thanks for that great review. I have been collecting, but have not read yet, the kindle and audible versions of these books for a while now. I have been reading while listening to the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, I am now on Winter's Heart, and I am reading while listening to Just one Drop, the Grey Wolves, by Quinn Loftis. If you love Fairy Tales, I think you should give the manga Snow White with the Red Hair a try. In this version Shiriyuki, or Snow White has red hair and is an herbalist. It becomes it's own thing after the first volume gets done. It's been great.
For me weirdly I loved ‘a whole new world’ it really gripped me and the insanity of jafar was really cool and I actually found ‘part of your world’ really slow paced and dull, which was a shame as I was looking forward to reading it. My favourite hands down was reflection and beauty and the beast is my second fave I’ve read all the books and I’m currently on the last one ‘unbirthday’ x
Awesome video, just subscribed... =) i'm still reading a part of your world which is the first book of the series that i'm reading... and i'm so loving it... i did collect a few more in the series but it's def a collection of books i want to have... great video!
As ovlf current day this year more books been published: one on blue fairy( Pinokino) almost there( princess and frog), and Merida ( Brave). The brave one saw on Amazon recently this month.
Funny beginning lol. Yeah! Lol. Love these movies and these stories so I was very interested in these. Telling sort of same story but in different way or change some stuff lol. Also the villain books is very interesting. Love to see and hear about stuff I didn't know about these stories and movies I've always loved lol. I got the whole new world one lol. First bit same as movie lol. They're all supposed to be darker and twisted lol. She ran away from temple before that's how they met before and he does the song sort of in the book where hes trying to get away from guards lol. Didn't get that far into it but I'm not much of a reader like I use to be either so. But I'm still interested in the stories and definitely the movies. Really interesting in the villains books lol.
@@KateComet same like there are so many possibilities, and I also noticed she said another princess gets added to the series next year and I’m hoping it’s Merida 🙂

i want a princess and the frog one. whatever is the twist. i just love their writing style, and i would love to read about tiana ! but maybe not about frogs. actually, if i can watch it i'm sure i can read it
They are coming out with a princess and the frog book next year!! It’s called “Almost There” they haven’t said what the twist will be, but they did say that Tiana will stay human the entire book
A real boy : what if jepeto never lost his child ( if you need context it’s if jepeto still had a child but he was very naughty like all children but he makes ponokio as a better version of his kid so the kid would learn to be good but one night he makes a wish to help his kid make a friend so the blue fairy comes and makes ponokio like the kid and so the climactic end is jepeto is trying to stop ponokio from killing is son out of envy of being a real boy )
I would love one with the princess and the frog. I’d love to see how they would make some sort of a twist with that or even Tarzan. If they ever make one with the 101 Dalmatians I am sold. There are endless Disney possibilities and I hope they continue with these books because will am a big Disney fan and I am loving them. I have a good reads and I am re reading all of them and the Hercules book I just couldn’t put down it was my top favorites and I was surprised to see how good Mulans story was. I was pretty uncertain with that but once it started going I just couldn’t put it down I wanted to know what happened. I’m trying to get through unbirthday it is just taking a little bit of time for me to get into it just because the beginning is a little slow for me. But I cannot wait for rapunzels book to come out in September. I already have mine pre ordered and it just sounds so good and interesting.
Same for me with all of this! I was reading Reflection at work so on my 15’s and lunches, I was reading and just hated putting it down! Go the Distance I was iffy on because I’m not a Hercules fan but I LOVED that it was Meg’s point of view instead. And I didn’t get super into Unbirthday until halfway through. It took me... 5 months to finish it. Which is the longest any of them took me. I’ll be preordering Tangled soon. I’m excited to read that one!
Finished A Whole New World a LONG while ago now. Really enjoyed it, not just because it's one of my fave Disney classics, but everything about it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Currently on the lookout for the rest, especially Go the Distance. Hope to find and read Unbirthday this June (coz that's my birth month 😄)
I've made my own fanmade Twisted tale covers, and Jen Calonita liked them on Twitter. Here they are: Colors of the wind- What if Ratcliffe killed Powhatan? Hellfire- What if Claude Frollo survived the fall? Touch the sky- What if Merida became the bear? How far I'll go- What if Moana never found Maui? On the other side- What if Tiana took Dr. Facilier's deal? Mother knows best- What if Mother Gothel kidnapped Rapunzel to protect the kingdom? Ask me in replies if you wanna know more about these. (Side note: I wanna get into acting and directing, and I wanna turn these live action movies. That may sound terrible, but I have been doing research on what to do or not to do with remakes, so I'll put heart into it.)
I don’t think they’ll do a twisted tale on Brave because that’s a Pixar movie. All of the books are based on just Disney movies. Not Disney+Pixar. Know what I mean?
my idea, Lion king: I cant wait to be king. What if Simba had run away in other direction. In this story, because Simba runs other deriction, he maybe never meets Timon and Pumbaa. Also because of that, Nala dosen't coincidendentally reunite with Simba.
I really want to read the 101 Dalmatians. Like what if pongo and perdita were very late to save the puppies? Like cruella tells Horace and jasper to kill the puppies. So they do it, and some of the puppies escapes without the 2 men noticing. that's all I have in mind. Like I said again, I really want to read this because of cruella devil. She my favorite disney villains.
I’m working on the Villain’s series as we speak! The Cruella one doesn’t really need to be read in order of the series but the first 6 books need to be. I hope to have the video out sometime within the next two months.
I saw an idea for a lion king book, but i have my own one: The title would be: Be Prepared. What if Simba died in the stampede? I might write it myself
Awesome video! Can't wait to read them all someday, I ordered A Whole New World earlier this week, expected to come; next week Tuesday. What more twisted tales would you like to see? Me; The Lion King Onward Atlantis: The Lost Empire The Hunchback of Notre Dame Treasure Planet Lilo and Stitch Moana Wreck-It Ralph Zootopia Brave Coco The Princess and the Frog

Here are the plots I think would fit! Kidnap Mr. Sandy Claws: What if The Boogieman succeeded in killing Santa? I know one for Nightmare Before Christmas is already being made, but it's a cool idea. Nobody gets left behind: What if Yuki was found by Stitch? Yuki is the name of one of Myrtle's followers. I don't know what could work for the rest.
i preferred the stories by elizabeth lim the most, then liz brazwell, then jenn callonita. i found callonita's books to have forward motion but with no motive. in snow white one, it was very "and then she did this and then this and then.." and i wasnt excited about it. same with the frozen one, i was expecting a lot more than what i was given.
Right now I own 2 books from th he ongoing series: As old as time and once upon a dream. Bought then a yest apart and just got the Sleeping Beauty one during Amazon prime day special. Love both books that their own theritical what if theory plots. When I bought Beauty and best twist, I didn't have a real idea or mind set as was needed for this series at the time Obviously I do know the open mind set to have now. Took a break from as old as time after reading first 97 pages got lost in story. Current today in 2023 reading Sleeping Beauty twist with a strong mind set and reading it with ease. Enjoying this book more for clear timeline used and direct paths with main characters etc. The darker twist take of this book reminds me a lot of the Malisvent live action 1&2 films with support of Disney and german original tale.
book ideas: prey vs predator: what if judy hopps and nick wilde never found the source of the savage animals? (zootopia) [i don’t have a name for it]: what if the emperor never turned into a llama? What Once was Mine was released last September and Almost There will be released this coming September. I haven’t had the time to make another review with the last few books.
am I the only one who is annoyed, because the series does not come in all paperback? so this is love is only out in hardcover and I don't know if it will ever be released in paperback
I’m annoyed I have the first three in paperback! 😂 But they will all get released in paperback eventually. It just takes publishers a WHILE to make the switch. I hate how long it takes, too!
They need to make graphic novels i cant read without pictures IDK whether its a disorder or its just my ADHD acting up and im just getting distracted ❤❤❤😢🎉

Yes, though some books can get really dark so I would recommend reading them first to make sure it’s not too scary for them. The age range for these books is 12-17. But I know when I was 12, I would have been scared at some images described. I was a very sheltered girl who hated scary movies or anything remotely scary. 😂

Can you pls tell me where you read it ???

It's 2021 almost 2022 and I'm hearing of these books for the very 1st time today!
No worries! I started reading them in March of 2020! I KNEW I was missing out on something no great!
Heres another one: We Don't Talk About Bruno: What if Bruno went insane in the walls?
All this books sound good ! Where can I buy the full collection at?
To my knowledge, and I might be wrong, they don’t have a full collection out yet. They do have the first 3 in a pack together but not a full one yet.
i just brought the box set with 9 of them so excited to read them
where did you get it? also which ones were in it? i want it for my bday
@@skylarnicole8077 target
I want one for the lion king: I just can’t wait to be king, with the twist: what is Nala was the daughter of scar?
omgg that would be so good i would love to read it!!
@Elizabeth Allred or what if scar was the firstborn
I love these books. A much darker version of 101 dilatations.
*Dalmatians
And yes I agree.
@Nadja Kostek awww fab my favourite is reflection. Because it just totally grasped me full of adventure and urgency x
You’re gonna LOVE Reflection. I have a new appreciation for Mulan after reading it.
You should do more book content it is really good you should be so much bigger of a youtuber because your videos are amazing!
L
Awesome video, just subscribed... =) i'm still reading a part of your world which is the first book of the series that i'm reading... and i'm so loving it... i did collect a few more in the series but it's def a collection of books i want to have... great video!
so far I've read Part of Your World and Go The Distance. completely 100% love them!!!!!
Elizabeth Lim just announced her next Twisted Tale book and honestly I’m super excited.
ME, TOO!!!! I just want to know how it’s gonna twist with the Blue Fairy.
@@KateComet same like there are so many possibilities, and I also noticed she said another princess gets added to the series next year and I’m hoping it’s Merida 🙂
IF IT IS, I’M PREORDERING IT AS SOON AS IT’S ANNOUNCED!
Great Video I’ve read pretty much all of them except Conceal Don’t Feel and Unbirthday but I’m so excited for Go The Distance I LOVE HERCULES!!! And the one I think they should do next is Tangled that would be pretty interesting 🙂
173: I actually read Reflection with my dad. I actually like it
i want a princess and the frog one. whatever is the twist. i just love their writing style, and i would love to read about tiana ! but maybe not about frogs.
actually, if i can watch it i'm sure i can read it
They are coming out with a princess and the frog book next year!! It’s called “Almost There” they haven’t said what the twist will be, but they did say that Tiana will stay human the entire book
@@meganlove5681 oh cool ! i don't want them to stop lol
Luckily for you, There is a Princess and The Frog Twisted Tale in development.
These books sound like published fanfiction tbh lol
A real boy : what if jepeto never lost his child ( if you need context it’s if jepeto still had a child but he was very naughty like all children but he makes ponokio as a better version of his kid so the kid would learn to be good but one night he makes a wish to help his kid make a friend so the blue fairy comes and makes ponokio like the kid and so the climactic end is jepeto is trying to stop ponokio from killing is son out of envy of being a real boy )
ok does anyone know where i can get a pack of... all of them lol? im addicted and my bday is coming up 😂
I’m not sure if they’re ALL in a pack together yet but I do know that the first 3 are in one together.
@@KateComet ok lol i saw that one im just obsessed 😂
ME, TOO!!!! I just preordered the newest one that comes out next month. 😂
@@KateComet ahhh yes! The inner Hercules fan in me screamed when I saw the cover lol. I think it comes out on my birthday too!!
Luckily their making a princess and the frog one so YAY!
It just got released!
They released one, and it is awesome!
Latest news;
Elizabeth Lim will be doing her next Twisted Tale on the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio, and possibly another Disney princess next year 😁
Finished A Whole New World a LONG while ago now.
Here they are:
Colors of the wind- What if Ratcliffe killed Powhatan?
I love all of these! I would LOVE to turn these into movies! And the Merida one, So much better than what I was thinking!!!
@@KateComet Thank you so much. I did like your idea for the Brave tale, though.
“What Once Was Mine”. A Tangled Twisted Tale. By Liz Braswell. October 2021.
I don’t think they’ll do a twisted tale on Brave because that’s a Pixar movie. All of the books are based on just Disney movies. Not Disney+Pixar. Know what I mean?
M,
my idea, Lion king: I cant wait to be king. What if Simba had run away in other direction. In this story, because Simba runs other deriction, he maybe never meets Timon and Pumbaa. Also because of that, Nala dosen't coincidendentally reunite with Simba.
Short term memory loss: what if dory found his parents during hide & seek?
I really want to read the 101 Dalmatians. Like what if pongo and perdita were very late to save the puppies?
Like cruella tells Horace and jasper to kill the puppies. So they do it, and some of the puppies escapes without the 2 men noticing. that's all I have in mind.
Like I said again, I really want to read this because of cruella devil. She my favorite disney villains.
Have you read Evil Thing by Serena Valentino?? That’s my favorite telling of Cruella so far!
I reaserched the book, it its villains series, do I need to read it in order? Also can make a video of the villains series? Plzz
Or, how about this?; I Just Can’t Wait to be King: What if Scar raised Simba after killing Mufasa?
There is a Princess and the frog version call Almost There
Can you do an update since more books like this have came out since you posted this?
Yes! I have read the next few books since and will be planning on uploading a new video hopefully soon!
So This is Love and Reflection are my personal favorites
Reflection is one of my favorites!
Jo
Awesome video! Can't wait to read them all someday, I ordered A Whole New World earlier this week, expected to come; next week Tuesday. What more twisted tales would you like to see?
Me;
The Lion King
Onward
Atlantis: The Lost Empire
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Treasure Planet
Lilo and Stitch
Moana
Wreck-It Ralph
Zootopia
Brave
Coco
The Princess and the Frog
@Elizabeth Allred Really cool ideas! 😁
I’d like to know what a twisted tale for Inside Out would be like.
@@FerdinandProductions2021 Agreed!
At the end of the books, does the good one win or not?
They all have happy endings, at least bittersweet.
How many books are in the series i want to buy them
At the moment, there are 10 books that are out.
A Whole New World
Once Upon a Dream
As Old as Time
Reflection
Part of your World

Conceal Don't Feel
Straight on Till Morning

I’m absolutely hooked on unbirthday rn
how was the alice in wonderland book?
I'm half way through and it's amzing I can't put it down I got it today reccomend 100%
I’m awful and still haven’t finished it. 😂 It sits on my nightstand though!
Ideas for more titles ( haven’t figured out the what if parts yet lol)
Topsy Turvy (hunchback of notre dame)
Colors of the wind (Pocahontas)
No one gets left behind (lilo and stitch)
The twilight bark (101 Dalmatians)
No strings on me (Pinocchio)
Kidnap mr sandy claus (nightmare b4 Xmas)
I wanna be like you (jungle book)
Heffalumps and woozles (Pooh)
Lol
I heard that they are currently writing one for Pinocchio.
When I bought Beauty and best twist, I didn't have a real idea or mind set as was needed for this series at the time
Obviously I do know the open mind set to have now.
I'm Lost: What If Stitch Never Met Lilo?
book ideas:
prey vs predator: what if judy hopps and nick wilde never found the source of the savage animals? (zootopia)
[i don’t have a name for it]: what if the emperor never turned into a llama? (the emperor’s new groove)
Original Comment:
“What if wonderland was in peril and Alice was too late?”
*Wake up*
😂😂😂😂 I thought the same thing when I read it for the first time!
I’ve got you dog!: what if cruelly captured the puppies
I can't wait for the Hercules one coming out April
Have you seen the cover for it?? It’s awesome!
@@KateComet yes I love the colors on it. it has it's own unique Look to it
The sleeping beauty book is the most boring thing I've ever read, the beauty & the beast was good tho
God help the outcasts: What if Esmeralda chose Frollo? That would be so cool!🔥💜
Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride: What if Stitch was never taken to the pet shelter and allowed to continue his violent objective?
i just started reading so this is love
I wanna see them do a wreck it Ralph one
i got given the snow white one,

Snow White was confusing. But yes! Finish UnBirthday! I haven’t finished it yet either. I’m still about halfway through.
Wait, what tangled one got announced?
It’s called What Once Was Mine and it was announced Jan 12th!
I’m doing the say and I reading the Aladdin but I can’t wait to see.
I was thinking either Once Upon a Dream or Mirror, Mirror. With your review, I think I'll go with Once Upon a Dream.
Is it appropriate for a 12yr?
@@marianamenino6697 I'm not sure. Sorry. My mom bought it for me as a Christmas gift, so I have to wait until then to read it.
Actually, there two more books of this series, so they are twelve books, some people who don't have these books wish they had these books, example i want these books
Actually, there are thirteen books in the series. If you watched to the end of the video, I touched on Unbirthday and Go the Distance. Also, this video is at least 2 years old. What Once was Mine was released last September and Almost There will be released this coming September. I haven’t had the time to make another review with the last few books.
I really want to read so this is love 🌸🦋🌸
I found this today. I already like it.
You are right they are doing an Merida one
It's called Faith Be Changed but there's no Tagline confirmed
I know!!! I’m SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!
The tagline is "What if the witch gave another spell to Merida"
These sound good especially the little mermaid one 😢
am I the only one who is annoyed, because the series does not come in all paperback? so this is love is only out in hardcover and I don't know if it will ever be released in paperback
I’m annoyed I have the first three in paperback! 😂 But they will all get released in paperback eventually. It just takes publishers a WHILE to make the switch. I hate how long it takes, too!
I’m a real boy: what if Pinocchio never became a real boy
Name is extremely ironic.
They need to make graphic novels i cant read without pictures IDK whether its a disorder or its just my ADHD acting up and im just getting distracted ❤❤❤😢🎉
So funny, I loved loved loved the Aladdin one and didn't really love Beauty and the Beast. Next up Ariel. 🥰🥰
I heard the next one after tangled is going to be Pinocchio
I heard So This is Love has a movie adaptation.
I wanted to buy one of these, but I can't afford it 😑
If your library is open, check to see if they have them! That way you don’t have to commit to buying them if you don’t like them.
Your so underrated omg
How about the princess and the frog, Brave, there is a Rapunzel one Coming late 2021.......
They weren’t announced until after the filming the video, that’s why she didn’t mention them.
I’m currently reading mirror mirror
YES you ARE that guy, I love Peter pannnnnn
Peter Pan is LIFE.
I would love a Lion King one in What if Simba. bUt Scar did
i'm not saying its not a possibility, i'm just saying probs not brave because just in case you didn't know, that's pixar (but yes it's still disney) so maybe they will do other stuff before they move on to pixar, but like i said it's a possibility
I so want them all on Hardback it’s hard to find a whole new world and once upon a dream on hardback. I prefer hardback because it last longer than paperback I just want them all on hardback.
Is it appropriate for a 12yr?
Yes, though some books can get really dark so I would recommend reading them first to make sure it’s not too scary for them. The age range for these books is 12-17. But I know when I was 12, I would have been scared at some images described. I was a very sheltered girl who hated scary movies or anything remotely scary. 😂
How about 101 Dalmatians, maybe a Disney, Pixar crossover....... Dumbo and tinkerbell/pixie hollow, Tarzan and pinocchio........
Not me spending $90 on these today lol
FROLLO😃
