Glad you’re doing well. I know that news can be troublesome. Your dog is gorgeous. Very unique. Love those pipes you picked up. Leave some for the rest of us. Ha. Love the S&G and just the G tobaccos. Have a great week. Bobs Chocolate is one of my favorites
A day late but I made it. Really glad to hear the good news! I as well prayed for you. I am glad you shared your life with us, makes us feel a little more connected. Anyways great review as always and really enjoyed the background shots. Beautiful view. You just have the neatest “calm” reviews on your channel. No acting just good conversation. Keep it up! Pet the “little monkey” running around for me dogs are great companions!
Beans ‼️ 😎 well I am so glad to hear that you are doing well 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻thank God..nice dog he is awesome!! It's beautiful out there 🌲 spring before you know it take care my friend be well
Great health update bro! I love that pipe. If you run across a 1979 keep me in mind😎 I’ll be going to Vegas this year too. It’ll be nice to meet you in person, also my 1st pipe show I get to attend after all these years so I’m pretty pumped. Have a great weekend chasing that pup around😂
Nice looking dog. That flake looks amazing. Lakeland flavour is definitely an acquired taste. I usually goto Boswells in summer at the Alexandria location. We RV and do a couple trips to Raystown each summer…….
G’day Beans! I’m a bit behind in videos these days so there’s a lot for me to unbox here. First, so glad you got a good result from your colonoscopy. At our age that stuff is a worry. Great looking pipe. Always wanted a Dunhill prince. Congrats on the addition to your house. He’s a cute little fella. Need to catch up with you for a good chat. Take care mate.
Thanks Glenn long story short been having bleeding down south and pain feared the worse runs in my family, finally got checked all good except Diverticulitis
Good morning and Happy Saturday my friend! I'm really happy to hear things went well with your checkup. I love your run for Dunhill. I used to have one of those for my dog. Gives them plenty of room to run but restricts where they can get wrapped up. Dunhill is looking very happy. This is a good flake. I packed some in a cob to enjoy while watching. Gawith is definitely a change of pace. I am so with you on being ready for spring and getting out in the boat. We've gotten 110 inches of snow so far, with another 11 inches on the way today through Monday morning. Have a good one!
@@beans316 I can't agree more with you. This snow is getting old pretty fast. We have another 14 to 21 inches coming between today and Saturday now. I hope ice will be off the lakes in time for fishing season.
Glad you're well man and a beautiful looking little estate find. Yeah, on BCF I get spices and florals toward the middle and end of the bowl. As far as G&H go, I've been smoking that smelly stuff my whole life, so I'm pretty used to the scented tobacco, and I quite like it. I mainly enjoy BCF (which I prefer to the SG version), Other picks would be Brown Flake, Rum Flake and Dark Flake. Bosun or Coniston cut plug are really good, haha, but they do have a lot of scent though it's quite different (to Brown/Dark Scented). More of a ginger cake spice. If you like Kentucky you can't go wrong with their Dark Birdseye or Kendal Dark (both Shag), but it's very strong (like Dark Plug).
Good to hear all good.....DAAAAAAAM that flake look mm good.....for your poochi.....my wife and I got pet insurance....as our dog was extremely expensive...as well you get a percentage back.....just a helpful hint if ya have alot more vet visits....
Evening Brian, that breed is certainly unique i have seen only one pure in the last 8 years! I dont mind this blend but i dont reach for it often, the floral note is acquired taste but it grows on you. This dunhill look like a shilling finish although they normaly come in cumberland. Enjoy in good health brother
Morning Brian! That's a beautiful pipe. Glad to hear things worked out. I have some of this tobacco left from a yr or two ago. It is one of the softer ones out of the bunch. I also pick up some floral on the unscented but i enjoy it. Take care my friend 💪
I enjoy GandH flakes but I usually have to grind them up fairly fine to keep them lit. Your pup is looking great, I see from his long tether in the yard he is the advenurous type.
Good to see you Brian 😊 Glad you find this one palatable, I find G&H flakes get significantly better in flavor after a couple of years cellaring. Have a great weekend my’ol mate 😊👍👍
Thanks my friend they are really good tobaccos for sure the only one I really didn’t like was the brown flake scented wheeeeeeew smelled like a really strong floral even though the box
Brian, I've never had Glengarry Flake. The Brown Flake Aromatic is really good, but hard to find at times. Let me tell you about diverticulitis, my friend. I used to get BAD attacks, a couple of times a year. When you travel for a living, that's pretty damned inconvenient! Twenty years ago, I had my sigmoid colon removed, and haven't had any problems since. It's a bitch of a fix, but it worked for me. Good luck, and don't fool around with it! PS... If you want a GH flake with very little topping, try Kendal Flake. Dark Virginia and Burley, with just a touch of Kentucky. Excellent smoking characteristics.
@@beans316 Hello, my friend. Where do you buy all the GH flakes? I didn't recognize the logo on the bags. I just watched your video review of Coniston Cut Plug and heard your list of all the pounds of GH tobaccos recently purchased. Holy cow! That stuff is expensive. I noticed yesterday that Pipes and Cigars sells a number of flakes only by the pound, but a pound is a hell of a lot of tobacco! I'm smoking a bowl of Kendal Flake right now, and really enjoying it. Enjoy your weekend!
I totally agree with you about Bob's Chocolate ... It does build in chocolate flavor as you smoke it and ghosts the pipe with that chocolate flavor too - which I actually like. Question: I enjoy the Lakeland essence unlike many people, which blend would you suggest that has the strongest Lakeland essence? I have Ennerdale and Grousemoor, are any others more intense? Thanks and I enjoy your videos (and noticed your "LOOK AT IT" cries are less intense - thankfully :)
Yes all of them I just do my homework and sort through the listings there are still gems out there for great deals. I paid under $170 for each of the last three I bought
Glad to hear that nothing too worrisome is wrong. I’ve smoked Glengarry. It’s actually my least favorite Lakeland: I find the Virginias and the toppings too light. But I love Kendal flake and all the super floral blends. It’s definitely good for warm days because it’s not heavy. I still like it but tend to reach for something like Ennerdale or bosun cut plug.
Thanks for stopping by it’s good for me because I don’t like the strong Lakeland but I bet you really like scented brown flake then ? Woooooh it’s very Lakeland
Great news man! I agree it has more of a floral smell than taste but is smooth. Personally I don’t think it has enough and always want more floralness while I’m smoking it 😂
I’m still a go for the meetup. Glad to hear all is good. I smoke mainly G&H blends then anything now days. Dunhill is beautiful boy. No word from Cole about the meetup, JC I thought was a go.
WTH a Polish sighting ? Wowser been awhile seen you pop up on my feed but haven’t had a chance to catch up hope your well I did see on Instagram your a dad congratulations bud

Gawith, Hoggarth Bob's Chocolate is one of the best favorite.👌 7:30
Hard to disagree it’s a really nice blend I also find it gets better halfway through the bowl and the hotter you smoke it the more spice you get
Glad for the good report! Blessings friend!
