Also highly recommend "Elf Dandruff" from Watch City Cigars--it's a ribbon cut with a rose geranium topping or casing, particularly noticeable in the bag note (available only in bulk). Of the blends you explored, the one that I'm having trouble enjoying is the Bosun Cut Plug. Normally I gravitate toward unusual blends but this one continues to elude me. 1792 Flake is another exquisite blend but the nicotine level is far too high for my system; I want to enjoy it but it just knocks me flat.
Recently discovered your channel and have enjoyed your content, brothers. I’ve been enjoying Bob’s Chocolate Flake for a while and only recently learned it’s a Lakeland. Then tried Ennerdale with a friend. I guess I’m a Lakeland fan! Keep up the good work!
For those who like Ennerdale, I also suggest #7 Broken Flake (boring name, great blend). Alas my favorite Lakeland (Grasmere Flake) is no longer sold in at the US.
I tried Lakelands, initially it wasn’t my thing, but I came back to them on the recommendation of a friend about a year later and I love them. Ennerdale is prob my most favorite, but I like many of them, some you suggested in your video! Thanks guys.
Is the pipe that Richard is waving around a Chris Askwith? He makes some with stem material like that, and from what I could see, the bit area is similarly rounded outward.
Again great video production. I have tried Ennerdale Flake and Grousemoor. The tim art on the Grousemoor is great. The tobacco is good, but I have to be careful for tongue bite.
Hope you enjoy them! Fire dance is not a favorite of mine, because of the blackberry brandy topping (I think 🤔), but many do like it. Please let us know how you like them…Happy smokes my friend 👋🏻😄
So good to see you both. I love watching your videos, so informative. I've heard of Lakeland tobaccos but none by name except for the Samuel Gawith blends. Thank you again for your video. A blessed and holy Christmas to you and may all of God's blessings be yours. (We had to cancel church services for today because of the hazardous road conditions.)
Not many baccy shops in jolly old Englandland now. Glorious Ennerdale and Bobs Chocolate Flake (sorry, Bobs %%% Flake) is internet order. Thank The Lord Harry our Supermarkets still stock CONDOR ready rubbed or flake. And St Bruno. And thank people who have no idea what we are talking about. Going fishing, Pipes and wonderful tobacco.
I’m having my second bowl of Ennerdale Flake right now and I’m almost wondering if I just got a very lightly essenced batch? I’m enjoying it regardless very much so, and I could smell the Lakeland essence on it when I first got it, but seemed to fade quickly and it just tastes like a lovely mild Virginia to me, no floral notes or almond or those other notes that make up the Lakeland blends. Is this normal for Ennerdale flake? I’m ordering some more very soon and possibly something a bit more hefty on the Lakeland essence … I want to really experience it.
They’re not an overpowering essence and that what I like about them. Some of their tobaccos have more than others. I’ll have to have a bowl of Ennerdale to jog my memory to answer your question.
@@tobaccospipesandmore7762 I'm talking about the content sequence in the timeline of the TH-cam's interface. The line names all the described blends in chronological order; it names Grousemoor "grossmor". I don't know if there's a particular reason for that. I mentioned it because it could've been a misspelling, or a reference to all the unfair criticism there's in Internet around the blend. Excellent content anyway.

Great suggestions! Haven’t tried a few of those but Bosun and Ennerdale are some definite favorites. Hansom flake too…it is absolutely wonderful.

Same here. I wonder how many were put off at first only to come back and love it.

Got my first order of Gawith in you guys inspired me to try it. Firedance, Ennerdale and Broken Scotch flake

Congrats on the 1K milestone. I found your channel from your post on the FB group.
Thank you!

Gonna have to try that Grousemore. sounds right up my alley.
I really enjoy it 😃👍

I understand Condor is good, but I haven’t had it.

Richard: the pair of blue books on the upper shelf behind your right shoulder look suspiciously like a dissertation.........
I like 1792
It's delicious. It's also much too high in Vitamin N for my system.
"Gross"mor? Really?
I don’t understand your comment?
@@tobaccospipesandmore7762 that's the way the bend is called in the video's timeline.
@@TomasRepArg 😂😂😂 The beauty of dialect is just one of the freebies we offer here on our channel.
I just rewatched it and I clearly do not say ‘Gross,’ but Que Sera Sera 🤷♂️
