Great review on your Klim Jacket and pants . I put elastic suspenders on my BMW pants with small zip ties on the clamps , to keep them from coming loose . I really like them to keep the heavy pants up . All I need to do is figure out how to keep the straps from sliding off my shoulders . Safe riding .
Thanks for sharing. I’m glad you have invested in good riding gear, given your mission. It is a bit funny how folks sometimes will spend many thousands on the bike but cheap out on the gear. Happy birthday Mike! Yea, I guess it depends on each person’s lifestyle. Weekend riders will want to focus on their bike. But in my situation, I had to look beyond that. Trying to be smart and make the right decisions. And yes, I’ve screwed up often through this lol. I learn as I go. Be warned, my videos suck. I started this channel at the request of my kids so they could track me…. Then being alone all the time, the video’s sorta gave me a feeling of being connected. Well you can, it just gets hot. The vents help, but in the riding position it’s still hot. I’ve ridden in it over 100 degrees though. Once I’m sweating, it cools it down a bit. Good luck with your choice and happy riding. Chad.

Thanks. Good to know about the new version. I'll have to reconsider when the time comes. I'm around 5'10, 170ish. The Jacket is a Medium and fits great. The pants are 32 and fit too big. hope it helps Chad
If I had it to do over again, I'd have gotten a size smaller. They are the regular and that is fine. Just too baggy. Hopefully you can return and swap them if they aren't a good fit. As I said, I was thinking I'd be layering underneath more than I actually had to. If you get some, let me know what you think about them. Good Luck.
I have both the jacket and the pants. Jacket is awesome. Pants not so much. They have, good ventilation, solid waterproofing. Top of the line knee armor pocket is sewn in wrong; as a result the armor protects the inside of your knee. When you look at the construction of the garment it’s pretty obvious that the placement is an error. Klim support basically told me that they did this intentionally so they would not correct the issue. If you intend to use separate knee armor these pants will be fine but if you want to use the D30 that comes with the pants you should look somewhere else. The armor placement makes it useless. For a company with a reputation as good as klim's the customer service is horrible.
Thanks for info. I’ve never dealt with their customer service. I agree the armor moves to the wrong spot. I used Velcro inside the pocket to adjust it. We shouldn’t have to McGiver things in this price point. Best of luck. Chad

I wanted to buy this jacket. But I am stunned to know this is not comfortable over 85F. I thought I could use this in 100+ with it's vents.

Is there any clothing that could make 100+ feel comfortable? I doubt it.
