That looks like an awesome place for shore fishing! Not many places have that good of a shoreline to give such good shore fishing access. Nice video. Great action. My wife and I enjoy fishing Dinorwic Lake. Gotta use the boat though.
There is some good crappy fishing in Dinorwic now too. I fish Dinorwic from time to time as we live on Lake wabigoon, set sail from my house and it takes about 40mins.
vishuscirquel I've seen some pics of people with nice catches of crappies. I've only caught one here and there. Never schooled up yet. We'll be spending a week on Dinorwic come walleye opener. I'm so looking forward to it. I've never really ventured far on wabigoon. The fishing is pretty darn good on the whole system.

what equipment are you using? i have a kit from canadian tire abu garcia pro max and I feel nothing... My friends told me I need to upgrade... I wonder what rod do you have? thank you
can you explain a bit more about what you mean by feel nothing? What type of structure are you fishing? what lure/ bait do you use? What line do you use? have you caught anything where you are fishing? What are you fishing for? Is the water clear or stained? The rod you have looks decent enough, I'd say its one or all of the above factors you should look at as opposed to the rod and reel, The rod and reel i'm using are pretty similar to your set up, in fact cost less, I dont take my expensive boat rods shore fishing.
Thanks for the comment Jack Flynn. I am just bouncing it along the bottom, and letting it sit. Kind of like, twitch….twitch….pause….twitch…twitch…..pause. Most of the time the bites from walleye happen on the pause, and the pike hit when it is moving.
It is pretty nice for sure. It is actually a pretty busy shore spot, but I work shifts and head down there early on weekdays and rarely see another soul!
MCclasher Thanks for the comments. I was using medium minnows (3" dace and fatheads). I will be heading to that spot in about 3 weeks when walleye fishing opens again, there is still ice on some lakes here.

I used to have a doberman pinscher when i was a kid,we would take him ice fishing.After watching us catch a few fish with bobbers he tried to grab the lines and pull the lines up himself.Funny to watch but a great fishing buddy.
Great spot to fish because the little stream going into the lake will wash worms into the lake which will attract bait fish and then the Walleye that feed on them. It's amazing that here in the UK we have an almost identical fish to the Walleye called a Zander. The wall eyes look browny green, whilst Zander are more silvery.
+vishuscirquel I'm a brummie myself so I'm lucky enough to have the Severn on my doorstep and its fishing great for Zander and pike these days. Tight lines mate and great video in a beautiful location!
I only get to go for two weeks each June (Perrault Falls) but I count the days. Love fishing pike, musky, walleye and smallies. Nice vid but it makes me 'homesick' .
Is this in the States? You should get a smaller boat and do some trolling and even vertical & jerkbait fishing in there :) (We usually do that here in Sweden if we find a good lake for Pike & Walleyes) ;)

He's super energetic so is a bit of a pain in the boat but we are working on that. All round fantastic companion and fishing buddy, great family dog.
What do you use? I'm from Hawaii and moved to Minnesota and have no idea what to use. I'm so used to fishing for salt water fish and not fresh water fish
+tyson baisac I also used to live by the sea and had to change up. Just get a light spinning rod, some 10lb braid, a 2500 reel and some fluorocarbon for leader. jigs are great for most presentations in Minnesota as it it is similar to fishing up here….feel free to fire as many questions as you like :)
Scott Lewis I am using 10lb fire line braid, with an 18 inch Berkely Vanish Transition Flourocarbon leader with a 3/8 or 1/8 Oz lead head jig(chartreuse or chartreuse /orange.) I use a slip bobber too and it is basically the same set up with a Thill slip bobber in the mix. I use micro barrel swivels to attach my leaders. My rods are 6'6" two piece rods, one is a Shimano Sojourn (medium action/fast) and I think my other one is from a Walmart Mitchell Avocet combo….neither rod cost more than $30. I use medium and large minnows, I rarely use artificial bait.
