- We planned this trip only two days in advance, and it is, by far, the most beautiful and unique backpacking trip we've ever done. The views on the hike in and inside the park are truly unbelievable, even though we had quite a different experience than expected. We hope to come back someday to summit Mount Assiniboine, and this place will truly always have a special place in our hearts. Hope you enjoy watching!

Absolutely beautiful trip guys with even better views! I noticed you also have the Big Agnes Copper Spur, how did the tent do with snow? I've yet to use mine out where there is
significant snow fall.
Yes! We have spent a few nights in snow in it now: on this trip, and on Mount Whitney, and multiple nights with heavy rain. It does GREAT! Especially for a 3-season ultralight tent, it handles the snow really well and we stay completely dry inside. There is condensation on the inside of the ceiling, but that's to be expected.

So, in winter, when its fully snow covered, like right now, its probably doable?
I live in Banff, and haven't had the chance to go there yet. Debating if its possible to do it in winter as I have not seen any reviews or anything of people hiking there in winter.
