For those criticizing the landings, you must take wind into account. Just based on how the planes were rocking, it looks like the RC pilots were fighting 10-15 MPH gusts!

it sucks the fact that we been watching RC events out of this same spot for years yet the local folks over there haven't come up together to build themselves a real RC runway over there, Why risk your 10,000+ dollars RC investment by landing it in such a uneven rollercoaster terrain. lol sorry I'll probably do that only once, after seen my place bounce 3 times left and right I'm done, no good.
It's an event once every 2 years at a full size glider club so was a bit 'rutted'. Would benefit from being rolled but that has to be done when the ground is moist. Probably before Spring to get best outcome. Not sure if they do that with it being used for full size. Not easy finding flying sites these days, especially for rare events like this. Lucky it happens.

well yes the first one was the worse, he killed everyone onboard, however some did pretty good considering how awful of a landing strip that is, you'll think by now they'll build themselves a real landing mini runway for RC, Why risk your money like this?

@@JustDuoYT nah, if i were to own one of this super expensive RC i would check the weather before even considering. I'm not about to lose $20,000 because it was a little windy outside lol.
