the reason pilot training is so popular is because its easy to run on mobile and weak computers, its also because its free and has many different options and is easy to control. it also gets regular updates and the developers are still active and release videos from time to time.
The main reason why PTFS is low-key the best flight sim on the Roblox platform is because of it's simplicity which allows players from all ranges to play it, constant updates (although made by 2 devs) and because they stay true to what they really are, a roblox game, most flight sims nowadays use blender to make their models which is good yeah and all what you want but you're in roblox, it's best to stick to what the platform gives you, not something extra, and apart from that, the updates: i've never seen anyone hate any ptfs update, every update done by the devs is mainly because people request it and agree with it in the discord server, like plane remodels, new islands, new features, etc. And the ptfs youtubers and community are quite nice, never being toxic nor doing anything that could ruin the ptfs reputation, which also applies to the devs, never getting involved in drama from any style, I'm happy to be part of that community.
PTFS isn't really a simulator, it's more of a sandbox, it's simplicity appeals to mostly kids or people looking for a laid back experience. A simulator is a game that actively attempts to simulate flying to a *realistic* degree, which ptfs doesn't do in any form. Simulation games are games like flightline, and even older games like APWA.
PTFS is so popular because of how easy it is, and its iconic (been around for years). Its very easy to run on pc or mobile and almost every plane is free with a select few gamepasses and a large variety of those free aircraft, which you can't say for project flight. PTFS also allows for some crazy shenanigans but of crouse still being good for everything else, like making a butter landing. If you want something more high quality (models and physics) I suggest you look at Flightline, which I quite like. If you want to spend some money I suggest Acceleration Flight Sim. It's unfinished but it's great for models and physics. There just isn't to much to do.
The reason why PTFS is that popular is because it has been in roblox for 10+ years (i think), and it takes a much simpler experience to flying rather than newer games like Project Flight (which costs robux, bro forgor to put that in) Also, aint NO WAY bro forgor to put in FlightLine
@@Burg3rGuy well the graphics and aircraft response are really good and the thing I don't like is the way u cant find airports. But still flightline is a good game
Some reasons on why ptfs dosent have crash physics or animations: Due to the fact that every plane is made in roblox studio orange once said its going to be impossible for them to add gear flaps or crashing because the plane remaker or creator would have to remake every plane and that would take a long time and it did have crash physics a long time ago but it was only fire. Names arent accurate because copyright. And ptfs is so popular because of the community the devs and just the game in particular its simple and easy to learn. The devs are peacefull and stay with robloxs items they give instead of using things like blender ect and the ocmmunity is honestly one of the best roblox communitys ever due to the fact that the youtubers arent toxic updates or revamps are nearly constant theres always new things for people to do even if the game isint updated yet and they allow us to veiw the proggres of the updates with another game where we can see the current progress of revamps of planes or even new planes being made! [hence why theres a brand new turboprop airliner and tankers]. so thats some of the many reasons on why PTFS is the most popular and highest rated game so far.
I'd be happy with him remaking each plane one at a time, like with the remodels he's doing. We can't expect him to update every single model for one update
7:55 The arrows are the overwing exit markings, This is because the b737 does not have self inflating slides for its overwing exits and as such, the passengers need some guidance for exiting, to prevent them from going the wrong way.

In pilot training flight simulator, at some airports you can’t spawn all the airliners. Which means that when you first spawned, that wasn’t all the airlines.
Good to see you having *fun* at roblox flight sim. The reason why PTFS is popular because it is a very old and classic game. It doesn’t have much complex control(press z for a and d for rudder btw) but it’s detailed in map. Many features it has like the mission. In some military bases there has a low level flight test. Another flight sim I highly suggested is Flightline, since 2014. Quite detailed as Project Flight. It does have Attitude Indicator and first person. Some more advanced features like ILS, flight plan, autopilot(which follows flight plan). It only has one developer tho, JayManLive
I think that, as you say, i preffer PTFS because is simpler. You can find around 83 planes to fly, alone or with friends. You can also, for example, join Roleplay Communities and simulate airlines, you can Actually enter to a vatsim in the game. ✈ The gamepasses are'nt as expensive that in PF. Aeronautica has an absolutely massive map, if a standard roblox avatar was to walk across, it would take a couple hours and long range flights usually take 20min to an hour to complete. Not to mention that it has that it has hundreds of islands
bro literally compared a realistic simulation to a laid-back game, not even meant to have physics They are meant for different purposes, one is realistic while the other is more for a fun and relaxed experience.
Project flight is the best but it cost 50 robux and quite hard to play PTFS (sucks) I’m broke with butter In PTFS because nose gear didn’t go down by itself And the map you see it look large but SMALL unlike project flight (PF)
Bare in mind Aeronautica is heavily scaled down, which is how they were able to make the map so large without the game lagging that much. This does, however, take a toll on the detail and makes animations like the landing gears not impossible but definitely more difficult.
The reason why so many people are playing Ptfs is because it is completely free and kinda simple to control.. while the project flight.. yeah in my experience is pretty realistic. But so hard to control and WHEN I CLICK THE ENGINE FAILURE I DONT KNOW HOW YOU WILL LOSE SPEED WHEN YOUR NOSE OF THE PLANE IS FULLY DOWN 🗿
This is a FUN FACT about project flight /project flight needs to pay robux because the developers dont get pay so thats why we need to pay so developers can be pay
Honestly, as a simmer, I would rate them like this: 6. PTFS. Basic, easy to run, but very unrealistic. Has cool features, and is great for starting out and learning flight, but very shallow. 4/10, we all gotta start somewhere. 5. Acceleration. A great sim with great flight dynamics, but abandonware. 4.5/10 4. Novus. Interchangable with PF, its got all the same issues. Stalls feel more like running out of control authority rather than an actual stall, its really hard to control in an unsatisfying way thats also pretty unrealistic, and its map isn't super impressive. It looks stunning, its got good customization, good livery choice, and has some good bones, but I wouldn't call it the best. 6/10 3. Project Flight. A great sim to practice landings, but no stall mechanics, and generally floaty planes holds it back heavily. Looks great, has great variety, maps pretty varied but lacks any really big airports. 6.5/10 2. Aeronautica. Despite having hundreds of hours ingame, its got some issues. Stalling is on rails (as is most of the flight model), floating point gets really bad and can mess up landings, its pretty performance heavy, its also pretty grindy and the "Player driven economy" is very inflated. However, it has the most variety of any sim on roblox, bar none. Some of the models aren't great, but it has such a massive variety that you will find your niche aircraft and cherish it. Also has a great community (which I don't factor into the ranking). The map is massive, varied, and has tons of neat and challenging airports, its got great handling, feels satisfying to fly, and generally manages a great flight experience out of a decade old codebase. 8/10 1. Flightline, bar none, has the best flight model on roblox. No other game comes close. People like to dunk on it for having slow updates, but given Jayman is the only dev doing coding (to my knowledge), its entirely forgivable. Sure, it doesn't have Novus' cockpits, PFs map, or Aeros variety (or PTFS's ease of access), but it has the best handling of any mouse based sim, has awesome physics (you can actually stall semi-realistically, and landing is a challenge due to the physics being realistic rather than the controls fighting you), good features, and a map that just works for what you need. People will say PF and Novus will be the "Flightline killer" but as long as I am around, it will have at least 1 player. 9/10
In aviation airfield there is a way to flare. Just approach a runaway and go to a speed that is red. Once u done it. Pitch up and keep pitching up untill the perfect angle. Let the plane touchdown and there u go!
Glad to see PTFS here. Tbh i had more fun in it than in an actual flight simulator like Xplane Also on fighter jets there the afterburner starts running after 60% throttle Also by pressing P you could turn on reverse thrust to slow yourself down or drive backwards
PTFS is for people who are new too airplane games and people who have experience but like it simple. ProjectFlight is super realistic, you can’t just hop in a B777 and fly how you think you would, you have to work your way up from a tiny cessna to then private jets etc. people also take it very seriously between ATC and ground plus air. You do need a higher quality gaming setup to play it smoothly, it’s mainly for PC but you can play mobile, it’s just 10x harder and you will get booted from the game if there’s 5+ppl. I got -12fpm that’s my record in a B-777, def the best game in my opinion for advanced players.
"PTFS's map is massive" Aeronautica laughing in the corner yea -36 fpm is very good for a landing my best landing in project flight is -4pm woth a 737 and a350 2nd best is -8 fpm in a 777
I play both ptfs and project flight and personally prefer ptfs, let me explain why. 1. The community PTFS has a great community, sure theres a few bad apples but the best part is that many people in PTFS know how to roleplay. Roleplaying is kind of the foundation of PTFS, you can just ask if anyone wants to do a certain kind of roleplay and most times(atleast in big servers) atleast 1 or 2 people will say yes. In contrast, from what I've seen in project flight theres little to no talking or roleplaying in the chat, kind of just makes it another game where all you do is fly mindlessly until you're bored. 2. Updates The developers of PTFS spoil the community. We usually get around 2 updates per month(or atleast for the past few months) there are some exceptions like the Greater Rockford remodel but besides that we get plane remodels, new liveries, or sometimes new planes. Project flight on the other hand? I've seen 1 or 2 updates since I've started playing a few months ago, sure realism is nice but what's the point when the game wont get anything new over time? That kind of just causes it to have player spikes when an update comes out.
PF Is the Roblox MSFS, PF is more Professional and actually good. PTFS is for a lower age rate (in my opinion) it also is a arcade game, but I would preferrably pick PF, but it is a robux game which is actually better! Yes its bad for others who cant afford robux, but because it cost robux it actually gives the more mature players actually have fun, yes it has people messing around but it also has actual players that want to enjoy. Im a previous PTFS player and it isnt the game to play if ur basically looking for Good Players that know what to do. Most of the time you see players ram into the runway lol. Anyways, u should prob play PF.
main difference is that Project Flight stays true to its name as a more accurate simulator of flights, PTFS is more kid friendly which is 90% of roblox's playerbase.
PTFS is my favorite because the new uptade they got expanded all the maps and airports and the airline selection is bigger than what you saw you you were at a smaller scale airport you can spawn A380's 747 777 Concorde Md11 and they have to put fake names on aircrafts because they dont wanna get copy righted so don't hate you would not want to get copy righted right exactly this is also a game that runs on any device really good with really good details and wide variety of airlines To name a few CEBU Pacific KLM AIR France Delta Southwest Emirates Qatar and thats a few so thats why PTFS is the most played game
PTFS is popular cuz: - it's easy to learn how to drive an aircraft - it has tons of aircrafts (more than 80) - at has tons of liveries - it gets updated like every month with new mechanics, aircrafts and aircraft remodels - devs are really active on socials - it can run on even the worst pc I personally play PTFS since 2 years ago and during this time the game changed radically By the way now the B737 that u drove has been remodeled

Gear:Project flight
Animation:Project flight

old:PTFS
Landings:Project flight
Bigger map: PTFS
More realistic: Project flight
Free:PTFS
its a solid win for Project flight, worth 50 robux!
5/4
Aeronautica has an absolutely massive map, if a standard roblox avatar was to walk across, it would take a couple hours and long range flights usually take 20min to an hour to complete. Not to mention that it has that it has hundreds of islands
@@the_bean_farmeri was comparing PTFS and project flight.
bro literally compared a realistic simulation to a laid-back game, not even meant to have physics
They are meant for different purposes, one is realistic while the other is more for a fun and relaxed experience.
@@shawnyeo112 bro literally commented 4 months after it was made 😐
@@user-sj5uk1vr9o yt recommends stuff like half a year after its upload date idk why
1:07 its not a 737 max bro its a NG
10:49 even project flight doesn’t have crash physics
I bought project flight specifically bcuz it has Kulula (flying 101 livery) but it doesn’t work on my iPad
Project flight is the best but it cost 50 robux and quite hard to play
PTFS (sucks) I’m broke with butter In PTFS because nose gear didn’t go down by itself
And the map you see it look large but SMALL unlike project flight (PF)
Project flight is hard for rookie flyers, but it's really easy to fly.
Yea my average landing is -60 fpm
Weird thing about PTFS is Overspeed i mean full throttle is not much right?
But it would go 400+ knots that weird
6:29 what that thumbnail😂
8:41 hi i am the CEO of ryanair and you have been fired for a too buttery landing.
FunFact: For PTFS, a few days ago they remodeled the B737 And A380 and are now in the game.
Bare in mind Aeronautica is heavily scaled down, which is how they were able to make the map so large without the game lagging that much. This does, however, take a toll on the detail and makes animations like the landing gears not impossible but definitely more difficult.
We dont drive planes we fly planes
🤓👆
@@Fexalan it pained me watching your video as an avgeek
Same
1:49 "butter landing" sure.....
Joke flew right past your head
I recommend going to greater Rockford to spawn planes because some planes can only be spawned at bigger airports
If go to options in project flight you can do diff emergencies like gear failing
Man forgot Flightline
flight line didnt pay him 😀
I swear 👿💔🤫🧏♂️😮💨🤌🤣
PTFS being ahead of Aeronautica is the biggest cap ever
It ain’t cap cuz aeronautica no work
@@Acidstormgaming thats a you issue, cope
@@Acidstormgaming yes it does, dont skip tutorials.
i like cheese
Ok
Ok
Can my phone run project flight if its realesed in 2021 and i bought it in 2022
The reason why so many people are playing Ptfs is because it is completely free and kinda simple to control.. while the project flight.. yeah in my experience is pretty realistic. But so hard to control and WHEN I CLICK THE ENGINE FAILURE I DONT KNOW HOW YOU WILL LOSE SPEED WHEN YOUR NOSE OF THE PLANE IS FULLY DOWN 🗿
My fav flight sim is Msfs but on roblox its project flight (also i liked my own comment cause i know know one else will like it)
if u want realism, go to br
@MrCyberXYTBR is speed
What's br?
Bro is just bad at buttering
You have to go to bigger airports in PTFS so you can spawn more planes
10:52 bro, that is becos most of da players of ptfs are on mobile
yo ptfs!! made videos on it. truly an amazing game 👍
This is a FUN FACT about project flight /project flight needs to pay robux because the developers dont get pay so thats why we need to pay so developers can be pay
Honestly, as a simmer, I would rate them like this:
6. PTFS. Basic, easy to run, but very unrealistic. Has cool features, and is great for starting out and learning flight, but very shallow. 4/10, we all gotta start somewhere.
5. Acceleration. A great sim with great flight dynamics, but abandonware. 4.5/10
3. Project Flight. A great sim to practice landings, but no stall mechanics, and generally floaty planes holds it back heavily. Looks great, has great variety, maps pretty varied but lacks any really big airports. 6.5/10
10:45 to land you can use reverse thrust and flaps
In aviation airfield there is a way to flare. Just approach a runaway and go to a speed that is red. Once u done it. Pitch up and keep pitching up untill the perfect angle. Let the plane touchdown and there u go!
cool video!
9:25 *chooses one of the smallest airports* "this airport is quite big" 💀
Bro the pfts part when u almost crashed at the plane that was me I was doing a mission my name was jimjam:0
For PTFS, press p for reverse thrust and set your throttle to 50% on approach
Glad to see PTFS here. Tbh i had more fun in it than in an actual flight simulator like Xplane
Also on fighter jets there the afterburner starts running after 60% throttle
Also by pressing P you could turn on reverse thrust to slow yourself down or drive backwards
Fun fact: some maps in ptfs actually represents real life airports like tokyo international or perth international
I would love if proket flight simulater added An-225 and had better grafics 7.5/10
Wait, This is 8 Months Ago? I DIDN'T NOTICE PTFS CHANGED GREATER ROCKFORD (Because i Joined The Community Like Only 2 Weeks Ago)
From 10/6/24, PTFS has made updates remodelling the A320 and B737, also the A380
"PTFS's map is massive"
Aeronautica laughing in the corner
yea -36 fpm is very good for a landing my best landing in project flight is -4pm woth a 737 and a350 2nd best is -8 fpm in a 777
in project flight you can fly the boeing 737 because this plane has cockpit view you just need to press 2 when you spawned a the airport you want
NAHH WHY WOULD BRO SAY THAT ABOUT YOUR PLANE DOOR EXPLODING at 5:52 I’M GOING ON A PLANE IN 3 DAYS
Nice blue archive livery where do I get it
TOP VIDEO!! Project Flight!! :)
I always play Pilot training and do like pretending to have passengers and say "Ready for takeoff" I really liked this game
In project flight as soon as u land put spoilers to last stage it will do reverse thrust on engines
8:42 Ryanair: Your fired
Emirates: Your hired
I play both ptfs and project flight and personally prefer ptfs, let me explain why.
1. The community
PTFS has a great community, sure theres a few bad apples but the best part is that many people in PTFS know how to roleplay.
2. Updates
The developers of PTFS spoil the community.
I swear bro Ur so funny you've got a new sub
How to slow down inn ptfs the yellow thing
I can do a butter landing in PTFS (pilot training flight simulator) but with medium and small airliners and cargo planes
Thx for playing plane
PTFS is my favorite because the new uptade they got expanded all the maps and airports and the airline selection is bigger than what you saw you you were at a smaller scale airport you can spawn A380's 747 777 Concorde Md11 and they have to put fake names on aircrafts because they dont wanna get copy righted so don't hate you would not want to get copy righted right exactly this is also a game that runs on any device really good with really good details and wide variety of airlines To name a few CEBU Pacific KLM AIR France Delta Southwest Emirates Qatar and thats a few so thats why PTFS is the most played game
On the last game I could not land I did the tutorial but the game catches people by people trying to land but it’s impossible to land correctly.
1:43 first landing edit 1
3:38 second landing edit 2
5:35 third landing edit 3
Hoping bro will reach 100k subs before 2025:D
8:31 why did bro use spoilers?
PTFS is popular cuz:
- it's easy to learn how to drive an aircraft
- it has tons of aircrafts (more than 80)
- at has tons of liveries
- it gets updated like every month with new mechanics, aircrafts and aircraft remodels
- devs are really active on socials
- it can run on even the worst pc
I personally play PTFS since 2 years ago and during this time the game changed radically
By the way now the B737 that u drove has been remodeled
8:04 there is a cockpit for the 737 too
