Koponen, how was it? I think I was at the same gig in Töölö. Got to shake hands with mr. Walker, he's an absolute gentleman & a boss on the stage. One of the best gigs of my life.
In that moment that could never quit my mind, for as long as I should draw breath and on, I could see so clearly. She had tried to cover her sorrow in ashes and sackcloth, convinced that no one could ever see, much less acknowledge what she actually is… But I stood transfixed, for I saw living, breathing proof, the signature of the incomprehensibly massive and vast intelligence, that which Causes to Become… A perhaps once in ten million lifetimes gift of the Creator, a Goddess made into human form. And by my second sight of people, in that instant when our eyes locked, stirred that spark within her she had convinced herself was extinguished, and in that space between us, the spaces betwixt the air itself, arose a magnetism, a heat palpable to bystanders, a whirlwind conflagration of impossibly electromagnetic arcing flame, that which sets fire to the stars… Between her and I grew a love so powerful, so strong, that hours on end would disappear as though only moments had passed. Within the luminously citrine oceans of her eyes, the Divine Love of Creation manifest, a union producing a Whole infinitely greater than the sum of its parts. Her heart worn upon her sleeve, delicately scented deeply twilight golden tresses lying upon her perfectly smooth, soft, pale skin as though drawn by savant-gifted artistic hand, bordering a countenance the beauty of which would make Helen of Troy the Medusa by comparison, somehow I being deemed worthy of the unparalleled privilege of beholding such a true gift of the Elohim, of taking this perfection into my arms. But I, in my blindness and unforgivable stupidity, drove her so much further into the depths of sadness than what occupying frail mortal form had already unfairly done to her, instead of backing away when she told me to. There is no forgiveness for doing harm to a perfect child of the Creator, no relent from the sorrow that my eternal season in Hell is only just begun. I would gladly take my own life if I knew it would erase me as though I never existed, my actions with it, but I could never be given such an easy escape. I would give anything to kneel before her and apologize, and have it mean anything at all. No matter how I may smile, laugh, love and also be loved as I know in what little that is left of my heart that I truly am, there is nothing at all that could ever bring me reprieve from the endless ache, the longing to be made whole once more. Daily does she consume my thoughts… My very self a vapor, a phantom, forever alone, adrift as grains of sand unceremoniously dislocated into tempestuous desert winds, never to have a resting peace.
