Orchid has some awesome experimental/fusion stuff buried in the middle (of some of the best metal ever made). In particular note are the acoustic sections of The Apostle in Triumph. Really great classical/medieval/folk leanings. I hated their modern prog/psychadelic stuff... until I got older and started to really appreciate it. +Chris John I think he is making the distinction between being a fan of music as an art, and genre as a subdivision of a particular form of music. It's like being an ass man. Some guys need a whole package to appreciate a mate, others just see a nice ass. That is how I see the difference. Opeth is the whole package.
I'm speechless. It's progressive, yet accessible... mystic and full of the sweetness of fantastic bass and drums. I've been listening to it non-stop for a while and I still find things to like and things that make the sound even richer. People might cry about this song not being "Opeth" enough, but Opeth never settled for a single sound. They have been all over the death-metal-prog-rock landscape and they have still so much to explore and blow our minds with. Hail Opeth!
The last two Opeth albums have been totally outstanding, Pale Communion is a career highlight in my opinion, definitely my favorite album of the last year, & I've been collecting records since the early 70s, ........I can't stop playing the damn thing !!!!!!
This was AWESOME live! Opeth has been my favorite band since 1996 or so... and they will be as long as they keep reinventing themselves as they have been. Thank you so much guys!
When I first listened to this song I wasn't too into it, but now that I've returned to it after the past couple of days to check it out again I'm sort of digging it now. It's not like classic opeth, which was more about movements and emotional highs and lows, this is kind of driving and atmospheric. Its sort of like Chelsea Wolfes philosphy of using a riff as a meditative experience while chanting over it. I'm eager to hear what the rest of the album sounds like now, because I feel like this song probably makes a good bridge between moods.
The great thing about OPETH is that they literally cover EVERY genre. So, there is something for EVERYONE, & once tasted, the curiosity to explore consumes you. Before you know it you are listening to musical genres you thought you hated.OPETH are the great musical unifiers
Reminds me of The Devil's Orchard, in the sense that it feels like the obvious track to be a 'single'. Very energetic, and grows on you (just like all progressive music should)
Although I prefer their older stuff for sure, I am starting to like this a bit more and this song is definitely an improvement over Heritage, not that it was bad, it was just a bit too out there for me, I like the more melodic stuff. Kudos to Opeth for doing their own thing and continuing to be "progressive" with their music though, I'll keep listening.
one of their best in a long time...yes its not death metal vocals anymore..i think for opeth those days are gone..but i really dig this..its very well arranged..shows you dont need 15 minute long songs to get your point across
Just a quick note to people who say that Mike is cocky and thinks he IS Opeth: He has writing credits on 100% of Opeth's material, and is the sole songwriter/lyricist for 87% (73/84) of their standard release songs.
This is Opeth evolved! Some people might not like it because they're overly attached to the band's sound prior to Heritage. But surely there are people who will love this record even if the other songs are on the same page as this one because this is great prog and you can tell this is still Opeth of old in many regards; just listen attentively and you will be drawn to the music. :)
"A child of autumn was born Into a world of deceit and death And a land of ice A break of bonds would take her away And install a sense of loss and eternal sorrow She walks across the country She holds her head up high in the rain A mother is screaming for help And she turns around to stare At a scene from her memory She is hiding a wish in her heart That flows through her blood always And it's culled from a dream That someone is waiting to say her name And call her to his side at the cusp of eternity"
I really dig it. So much music out there to listen to, and i'm not going to judge by their old album. I'm happy to hear this. Well done Opeth, satisfied fan here.
YES YES OH GOD YES! My jeans are soaked with EAGER DESIRE AND WANTON LUST for this album!!!!!! Opeth!! Why you So GOOD Opeth? Why you soo good indeed?!
The way I listen to music, I analyze every detail, and I take in every bit of emotion the artist expresses with their music. This is a great song, lots of cool imagery. To all of the people who say this song is boring, you are misguided, and you are plebs.
stuck in the past my puckered brown butthole man lol..all opeths releases up until heritage were different but GOOD..see thats the difference between that pile of shit heritage and this one.the downward slope continues after all this waiting..what a disappointment
***** Lol dude bands evolve and thats just the way it is. From the Beatles to Zeppelin to Opeth. You want more Death Metal growls there are plenty of other bands still plying that old trade...
plying the old trade of death metal growls?..lol..well that "old trade" was not too long ago on watershed(opeths last great album btw) so its really not that worn out an approach to music/vocals..and incidentally i've been into opeth for their more stylistic and varied musical flavor but THIS and heritage are just plain fucking boring!!
I do miss the old Opeth but this track is growing on me a LOT. Axe's drumming seems to be getting better and better, and Mikael's clean vocals are superb. He has the perfect voice for this kind of thing. Very much looking forward to August 26th!
Of course people who listen to ONLY metal won't like the direction that Opeth is taking. You have to understand that they were getting tired of writing metal music and wanted to progress. Heritage and this album prove that they are very skilled musicians and that they can take their musical talent to the next level. Everyone is entitled to an opinion i suppose but if you don't like this new Opeth, well then just listen to something else. Some people like myself can appreciate Opeth's new direction and still listen to the old stuff as well. And for people saying that Opeth isn't progressive anymore, think about it, what is more progressive than completely changing your style? I will always support Opeth and what they do because I respect their musical talent.
Looking forward to this album; it seems like it will be more refined and focused than Heritage (which was great but felt a bit all over the place for me). I think a lot of people don't understand that if Opeth right now made another melodic death metal album it would probably be soulless and kind of subpar because Mikael isn't really "feeling it." Instead of people complaining about this just go listen to something else? There's a ton of amazing shit out there that I can't be mad at Opeth or anything else for changing styles. Unless they started rapping or adding pop... only guy who might pull that off is Devin Townsend. lol
***** You shouldn't predict or expect anything man. Nobody could predict Heritage, it just came out and blew everybody out, that's how things roll. The only thing that I know for a fact is that all predictions, for this new album and the future of the band, will always be inaccurate.
Now that it's out... legit album all around. I feel it's missing epic segments like Folklore's ending on Heritage but as an overall album I enjoyed this a lot better. "Faith in Others" is possibly the best track imo.
Alex Cambron I strongly agree with you. After one focused listening only (and a few others while working) I consider the strongest pieces to be Eternal Rains will come and Faith in others. I found most of the pieces very reminiscent of Hex Omega, in the sense that they seem to be build around creating a strange/ominous atmosphere more than being lyrical like I always considered "old opeth" to have been (from morningrise to Watershed included). Faith's has it all right with it's emphasis on touching melody, focus on Mikael's voice and the synth, and the really parsimonious use of the guitars. I hope they try more of this for the albums to come. Also agree with you that this album is way better than heritage, that was nice but had "transition album" written all over it, with its many lenghts. Still, gotta admit, as much as I define myself as someone who's favorite music is progressive rock from the seventies, I feel sad that so many groups have abandonned their metal vibe for an all-out "return" to the seventies prog rock : Opeth first and foremost, but also Dark Suns, Cynic (well, not so much a return to the seventies, but their last album is about as close to metal as Pale Comunion), etc. Still, all great bands, and eager to hear what they'll come up with next !
It seems like so many of you who call yourselves Opeth fans just want them to just keep making the same songs over and over again. If they did that, how would they be any different than Korn, or Metallica (who never REALLY sold out until a few years ago when they started making the kind of music that their fans said they SHOULD be making) or any other bands that writes the kind of music their fans want to hear rather than the kind of music they LOVE! Keep on keep on keeping on, Mikael. As long as you're true to yourself, I will keep on listening and loving what you do.
From the two songs I've heard from Pale Communion, I can say that Heritage was just a demo album for what was the come. There's some great moments on Heritage but it was really unfocused at times and bland. This new record sounds like it will be much more focused and convincing. Just this song on its own would probably be the best track if it was on Heritage. Eternal Rains Will Come is just as good and pretty damn moving. I haven't been MOVED by Opeth's music since Ghost Reveries, at least. I can't fucking wait for this album.
I didn't say it was all bland. Haxprocess is the best song on that album, IMO. But there were way more moments on that record that were dull than most of Opeth's work. Wouldn't say they blow this out of the water.
Well I sure as hell was MOVED by the "The Lotus Eater"-"Burden"-"Porcelain Heart" movement on Watershed. But I do agree on everything else regarding this latest album.
Biophonism And for people like you, bragging about your supposed artistic understanding is just a kind of masturbation for the ego. Art is subjective - one person's masterpiece is another's snorefest. If you think Heritage is amazing, more power to you. Bad way to voice your opinion though.
Just wanna amend this inane comment I made years ago lol. I might of been drunk when I posted that. Don't drink and surf, kids. Its true those songs I listed are amazing. But yeah, every album that Opeth has released has amazing moments. Can't imagine how difficult it is to deliver time and time again like this band does. Put it this way - Opeth is one of the very, very few bands at this point that I still pay attention to when it comes to new releases. My appreciation for them continues to grow over time.
Opeth is a band of constant upgrade and evolving. They have been in death metal scene, progressive metal, already done "clean" music in Damnation, and now this... amazing. Keep up the good work guys! HAIL from Hungary!
It has always become common for bands who have put their time in, and made their mark in infamy a legendary one, to tend steer off as they get grow older and wiser to make their music more towards their personal tastes, and not to give in to surrounding public opinions and pressure to continue making music to appease them and not themselves. If you watch the Opeth documentaries and interviews of Mike, you will find out how he has an insanely sized record collection of early rock albums. A lot of it abstract unknown bands from the early 70's and 80's. He spends hours in that room with his headphones on, in his chair, listening to the music in it's original format and becoming inspired about it. How many of us (musicians) have done the same in a way to the bands we like? Just some food for thought here on the subject. Let creation be, creation. Thank you.
I'm not gonna lie, at very first listen when I bought it I only am listened to a few minutes of the first song and had to put it down. I tried to jump around to listen to this song to listen to that song and i was not digging it. I was tired one day and lied down to rest and put the album on from the beginning. Ever since then I've found to love every day. Faith in others is my favorite. I've been an Opeth fan for over 15 years. I'm digging what they're doing now
This is beautiful, Opeth has always been my favorite band, I totally support them in their progressive way, I already know and love their death metal albums, they're all awesome, but this is simply magnificent, Specially for me it's very great how and when they decided to turn into progressive, I'm saying this, because just in the moment when I started to forget about metal, Opeth did it too. And some years ago… back on the days when I was discovering metal, Opeth was the band that definitely made me a metal fan. It seems that nowadays the've decided to close the page of metal to start with new music and I couldn't be more glad about it. As far as I can see, Opeth will always be my favorite band.
Lyrics coming soon....he said in 2014...still not A child of autumn was born Into a world of deceit and death And a land of ice A break of bonds would take her away And install a sense of loss and eternal sorrow She walks across the country She holds her head up high in the rain A mother is screaming for help And she turns around to stare At a scene from her memory She is hiding a wish in her heart That flows through her blood always And it's culled from a dream That someone is waiting to say her name And call her to his side at the cusp of eternity
This songs totally rocks. The riffs are exactly what you want from a riff, they're simple and make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. The solo is pretty tasty too. If the new albums as focused as this I'll be wearing down the Lp in no time
There is a really big obsession with death metal and growling, we need to open our minds. Death metal is just another genre, whith really good, interesting an powerfull music and with a really good masterpieces such as Crimson (Edge Of Sanity), Still Life (Opeth). Symbolic (Death) or Altars Of Madness (Morbid Angel), there is no discussion about this, but, music is in constantly change, music needs to experiment and innovate, if not, what?
I love this song. One of my favourites on this fantastic album. I enjoy all their albums simply because I like a lot of different music and couldn't find something I didn't like until yet.
I used to listen to Opeth's songs over and over again. Back in the days, the harmony of lyrics and instrumental parts was perfect. Whenever I listen, I felt something different. Even on the same songs, I felt many things. The composition was so creative that I still can listen to them without being bored. After Heritage came out, I thought "okay, its something new and I should be open-minded and be adapted." but right now, I'm kinda sad that I won't get what I used to get from Opeth's songs when I was a kid. I didn't like Opeth because of growls, solos or whatever. I like Opeth because they can practically tell a story as like as you are within the story, living it. I like Opeth because the can extract emotions out of your head and transfer it to your heart. This is okay if compared to today's music market, but I can't feel the uniqueness of Opeth's songs in this. I can't find many feelings like I used to find on the older songs. Just my humble opinions...
When I first heard this song I kind of liked it but not that much. Yet in the last couple of weeks it's been growing on me. It gets stuck in my head a lot and I hear it randomly and have to come back and listen. I think it's one of those songs that takes some time to sink in, I've known more than a few of those.
Opeth are such a great band! Regardless the musical style. I'm sure even a pop song from them would be just as awesome. And I will listen again and again. Besides, what's the point of another Ghost Reveries (my personal favorite). There is no beauty in repeating. Creating means evolving. Just like life and people do. Thank you for all of your profoundly immortal music. Each and every album is a bliss to my ears. Thank you!
Lyrics: A child of autumn was born Into a world of deceit and death And a land of ice A break of bonds would take her away And install a sense of loss and eternal sorrow She walks across the country She holds her head up high in the rain A mother is screaming for help And she turns around to stare At a scene from her memory She is hiding a wish in her heart That flows through her blood always And it's culled from a dream That someone is waiting to say her name And call her to his side at the cusp of eternity
Anything Opeth does is the shit. So don't come around saying that they can't change their style , they're the same. U just want growls??go back then, to one of their old shit. They evolve. In my personal opinion I love the growls, gives a kick to the song. But their lyrics are as dark and cool and nostalgic and searching for answers and observing the world, as always. It's just different. Try screaming/singing their songs. Now do it for years. They still express the same idea, that's why they're Opeth. All their albums about change. Letting go. This is their other side.
"Anything Opeth does is the shit" Absolute nonsense. So, what? If the next Opeth album consists entirely of Mikael sneezing into a microphone while reggae plays quietly in the background it'll be just as good as Still Life and Ghost Reveries simply because it's Opeth?
You must be another new fan of the band, talking like they know their shit. 1994-2012 was nothing short of incredible, with SEVERAL successful changes in sound. Heritage was the first album I didnt enjoy from them, which sucks, because they were my favorite band for over a dozen years.
Mikeoneus I agree, blind fanboyism is fucking lame. I spend my money and my time on these guys, and I most definitely can form an opinions...and it's that Steve Wilson needs to get out of Mikael's head. Mike lost his balls over the last few years. Shame.
CannibalCorpse909 More so "Low-IQ, Metal elitists", just saying. I've been listening to Opeth a very long time, along with Steve Wilson's work, what is there not to like? I'm sure there will be a song in this album with growls. Not like you understand the lyrics, anyway. You just want to hear growls. Pretty sad, imo. Go listen to Storm Corrosion, try to tell everyone that Steve Wilson is a bad influence, you would not be able to.
I'm new to this band hard to imagine they were death metal i like the clean vocals and overall sound and i also hear a slight middle eastern soung slight but there
Ok we all have our opinions here. So here is mine....I really miss the old Opeth with the more aggressive approach. The growls and the melody together, it made the songs fuckin epic and pulled us into the full spectrum of emotion. That is the reason I am a fan of Opeth. Heritage didn't do it for me. It was good don't get me wrong, but it lacked what earlier Opeth did for me. This song is pretty cool and all but I want the heaviness back. I will always have respect for Opeth no matter what they do and will remain a fan.
This song has grown on me after listening to it additional times. Heritage was like that. There were songs I thought were "boring" at first but came to love over time as I payed more attention to the subtle layers. This song starts off simple but finishes very well, sounding serene and eerie at the same time (which is very Opeth).
i see a lot of waaaahhhh!!!! he won't cater to my musical preferences, why won't he just make music for me instead of himself like a artist? seriously people its called progressive for a reason, they progress with time.
pyromaniarules Personally, Opeth is at their peak when they blend progressive and death into the same song, but I'll put my faith in Mikeal (mikael? idk)
***** It's not shitty though. Yea sure it's a grand departure from their progressive death stuff but it's still great. If Opeth went down a mainstream route then I would be disappointed. At least they didn't strip down their sound. It might be a less heavier approach but overall it's still Opeth. I don't mind at all that they've decided to take a Progressive Rock direction. It bothers me none. As long as the music is still fantastic and they don't sell out to the mainstream I'm all for it.
***** Nah this isn't selling out lol. You want selling out? Listen to the new Trivium songs lol. That is the definition of selling out. Opeth never watered down their sound, they just progressed. Get it? Baddum Tss! It still won't attract the mainstream listeners. Most people are too incompetent to understand this kind of music. As for your dad that's good on him. Heavy metal isn't his taste but prog rock is. What's wrong with that? There is nothing wrong with attracting new listeners. The newer stuff might attract him to the older stuff more. Do you listen to Prog Rock at all like Rush or Yes? There are others but obviously those are the more popular choices. If not you should. Maybe then you would appreciate this direction a little more. I always hear fan boys say things like: They're playing what they want to play and shit like that and it pisses me off when it comes to true sell out bands like Metallica, Trivium and All That Remains. But Opeth? I truly believe this is Mikael doing what he wants to do. I'm not sure if you're a fan of Between The Buried And Me or even Mastodon but were you upset when they changed their direction? Like I said it might not be as heavy and in your face as their previous stuff but at least it isn't watered down nonsense that is selling out to the maintstream. The song writing, the music and the overall complexity is still present.
+rusko dudesko The important part, though, is that they aren't giving up. They've *always* been doing what they want -- remember Damnation? And Still Life? Completely unique for their time, and plenty of prog in them. Damnation was HUGELY Camel influenced. It's fine if you don't like it, but separate a subjective statement from a qualitative one. "I don't like" vs "this sucks" -- this stuff is hard to play properly, has a massive variety of interesting influences, and there's a good deal of orchestration on it. I'm a real fan, and I like it, because they're constantly doing whatever the hell *they* want. The minute they start catering to black metal fans who want everything to sound like Orchid again, I'm gone. If they feel inspired to do more metal, then fantastic.
opeth has the most beautiful logo
And... I can actually read it
i think the same
it perfectly reflects all the beauty of their accoustic side with the ornamental 'O' and the dark and heavy side withthe gothic font
+smail djouhri true
A wallpaper of just the "O" has been the lock screen on my smartphone for *years*. It IS beautiful.
"Progressive" means "Proceeding step-by-step."
I'd say Opeth is proceeding nicely.

There Should be Genre Called ‘Opeth’ . They Sounds so Fantastic and and Surprise With Masterpiece Creation. 🙏
It's like, something a bit of 1800 sorcery vibe prog
The guitar solo is simply perfect!
Very energetic, and grows on you (just like all progressive music should)
I'm a fan of Opeth several years, and I can only one thing about this song "is another masterpiece"
UP...UP...+WE GO....FULL POWER...OF PROG ROCK....love this song+this album....LOVE YOU OPETH....!
This song is SO AMAZING......Can't stop listening
Although I prefer their older stuff for sure, I am starting to like this a bit more and this song is definitely an improvement over Heritage, not that it was bad, it was just a bit too out there for me, I like the more melodic stuff. Kudos to Opeth for doing their own thing and continuing to be "progressive" with their music though, I'll keep listening.
Have you heard the new single?? :D
@@Meister_Dwight Yeah I did, I was surprised to hear the growl back!
One of the best bass line i can found in a song. And a wonderful masterpiece too. I need more and more of this kind of song, please
one of their best in a long time...yes its not death metal vocals anymore..i think for opeth those days are gone..but i really dig this..its very well arranged..shows you dont need 15 minute long songs to get your point across
This band gets better and better every year. I agree with everyone else, Let them progress. This is incredible, as expected
"A child of autumn was born
Into a world of deceit and death
And a land of ice
A break of bonds would take her away
And install a sense of loss and eternal sorrow
She walks across the country
She holds her head up high in the rain
A mother is screaming for help
And she turns around to stare
At a scene from her memory
She is hiding a wish in her heart
That flows through her blood always
And it's culled from a dream
That someone is waiting to say her name
And call her to his side at the cusp of eternity"
3:11 the way he sings the line "its culled from a dreeeeam" is just sublime 👌
This rules. If you don't like it, complaining about it won't change anything. Go listen to music that you like and stop wasting your time and ours.
racewiththefalcons1 It's just too bad there isn't an archive of albums with Opeth playing death metal. Oh, wait...
+racewiththefalcons1 But you have to listen to this first before you can know if you like it or not.
@@Requnium, yes, my comment is about what comes _after_ the listening. I figured that much was evident.
I really dig it. So much music out there to listen to, and i'm not going to judge by their old album. I'm happy to hear this. Well done Opeth, satisfied fan here.
This was amazing to hear live.
YES YES OH GOD YES! My jeans are soaked with EAGER DESIRE AND WANTON LUST for this album!!!!!!
Opeth!! Why you So GOOD Opeth? Why you soo good indeed?!
the bass line is brutal
The way I listen to music, I analyze every detail, and I take in every bit of emotion the artist expresses with their music. This is a great song, lots of cool imagery.
To all of the people who say this song is boring, you are misguided, and you are plebs.
Stunning song! Screw the haters stuck in the past
you know there is preference and you don't have to like what is out regardless of genre or time.
Very true. Loved the last 3 Opeth albums.
stuck in the past my puckered brown butthole man lol..all opeths releases up until heritage were different but GOOD..see thats the difference between that pile of shit heritage and this one.the downward slope continues after all this waiting..what a disappointment
Maybe the best Opeth guitar solo. So well done.
Never have heard them before this song and I love them already....great musicians....very technical
Man I hope you’ve checked out more of their music. The instruments are always off the chain
I'm a 43 year old Aussie headbanger and just starting to get into Opeth.
I'm liking what I hear.
Opeth is amazing.
Opeth are progressing more than ever! Fantastic album.
Nailed it with this comment, pineapplepeanuts =]
Well I sure as hell was MOVED by the "The Lotus Eater"-"Burden"-"Porcelain Heart" movement on Watershed. But I do agree on everything else regarding this latest album.
Biophonism
And for people like you, bragging about your supposed artistic understanding is just a kind of masturbation for the ego.
Hi mat(i)e, enjoyed reading this, rock on !
+1
Drumming is of the charts!!👍👏🏻🧠👆🏻😎
Can't stop listening to this and all the new songs similar to this. New opeth fan here, have been a fan of Tool since forever. This kicks major a**

This songs totally rocks. The riffs are exactly what you want from a riff, they're simple and make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. The solo is pretty tasty too. If the new albums as focused as this I'll be wearing down the Lp in no time
I could live on a desert island
only having OPETH in my ears
I love where Opeth is going with their music, and I can't wait for the new album!
Axenrot on the drums is killer on this one! Have not been disappointed by anything Opeth has come out with yet!
Opeth! True love since 1990!
I love this song. One of my favourites on this fantastic album. I enjoy all their albums simply because I like a lot of different music and couldn't find something I didn't like until yet.
And they say that this is not heavy, this is one of the heaviest progressive rock songs that I have heard in years.
Opeth IS Prog.
The stage and exist by a7x are preety heavy prog
@@noboru5138 since when does avenged sevenfold make prog rock? I thought they were just straight generic metal.
@@danjackson1016 The stage album was preety prog
@@noboru5138 Damn. I'll have to give it a go. cheers mate.
Awesome!! Opeth never disappoints me!! Can't wait for this new album!!
This may be the best song from "new" Opeth. So good.
Thank you!
я не понимаю ни слова по английски, но эта песня ласкает мой слух, ее настолько же приятно послушать, как мурлыканье котенка под боком. :-)
🤟😖🤟 ✌🙏🖖 👉👂👈 👍👍
Simple but, not trivial.
You can make such music after years of experience. And not always. Love it.
I like this "new kind" of Opeth very much.
Steven Wilson!!! The influence is unmistakable. Mixed it perfect
lol yup. Steven is amazing.
He also mixed BWP, Damnation, and Deliverance I believe.
The last 5 albums have been amazing.

"Anything Opeth does is the shit"
Absolute nonsense. So, what? If the next Opeth album consists entirely of Mikael sneezing into a microphone while reggae plays quietly in the background it'll be just as good as Still Life and Ghost Reveries simply because it's Opeth?
nevmin Against a wall, presumably.
This song slays!!! So excited for the new record! It's the perfect balance of all that Opeth does.
I'm new to this band hard to imagine they were death metal i like the clean vocals and overall sound and i also hear a slight middle eastern soung slight but there
Wow, mellow yet quite vociferous. VERY stoked about the rest
This band is just way too fucking good.
I love the new sound, really enjoyed their early stuff! This shows a lack of fear & the ability to embrace new & exciting directions! Well done I say!
The guitar solo's melodic lines and structure brings to mind Jens Johansson's keyboard playing (!) Amazing work!
masterpiece
BAH if any other band released this crap you wouldnt even be into it.."masterpiece "my puckered butthole you blatant fanboy lol.
***** do you want a candy my boy?
Maturing is realizing that Pale Communion is one of Opeth’s finest albums.
The little girl with the book of fire is the sorceress in the newest album
I love it! AWESOME SONG!! Opeth did it once again..
how is it Possible to play drums like this so long without mistakes?!
+Le tanact he's in a trance
look up Dave Lombardo
+Arham Imran wooooow
This song is simple.
Magic
Everybody seems to be hating this transition made by Opeth. I loved it, cheers to them!
This man has the voice of an angel... & a demon
Opeth never goes stale, just keeps getting better.
That solo has a real Marty Friedman influence. Sounds awesome.
I guess Uli Roth's influence, which Marty Friedman also has
This song has grown on me after listening to it additional times.
***** I respect your opinion man. Maybe one day in the future you might appreciate it more :).
Very esoteric, amazing and wow. Highly anticipating this album.
These guys are so damn good.
I really love the eerie vibe. I can't wait for the end of August!
