When I was in the top north east part of Tassie with two ankle biters, we were attracted to a caravan park advertising a ‘heated pool’. On getting swim ready, the pool had a bubble wrap type floating cover but it was freezing. I complained to the Manager and was told it WAS heated, “by the sun”! 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥊🥊
Stunning countryside, certainly looks like a trek to be on everybody's list at some point. The JAFFFA team certainly knows how to enjoy themselves. 🙂 Looking forward to the next chapter.
ba ha (the towel comment!) My whole life I'd never seen a bumble bee until we went to Tassie, they are huge! Such an awesome place!! I definitely rate Tassy & need to go back! Thanks for sharing, & love the input from the whole of the Jafffa crew! 👍
Hi Terry, great vids ,Danny here from Naracoorte SA4WD Club . We're heading to Tasmania to do the West Coast in December. What recovery kit were you using on the Track above Penquin? Thanks
Thanks Danny, I appreciate the kind words mate, that means a lot to me. My recovery kit is kinda home made. The bag is from Drifta and it’s got a winch extension strap, a snatch strap, a tree trunk protector, a pulley block, 2 or 3 soft shackles, and a pair of leather gloves. I bought them all separately from different suppliers over the years. Cheers👍😎
