Dear Tiffany, as the father of a an adopted daughter, I can say you did a really great thing for your Mom and grandmother. Everyone of you had a final reckoning with the tragedies that ruptured your early family. Your grandma was forced into a Sophie's choice, and broke her own heart at the time. She never severed the emotional connection with your mom however, and you succeded in healing all the broken hearts in your family. Have no regrets, you did something wonderful.

My heart is so full. My Dad was adopted as a baby in 1941 when his mom died in childbirth and his dad was unable to care for him. It was bittersweet when he found his older brother by a chance meeting on the Ohio State campus in the early 60s... they looked so much alike and had similar mannerisms that mutual classmates insisted they had to meet. Learning the expanded truth of his birth family helped my dad cherish his adopted family all the more. Family certainly is complicated isn't it? Thank you ever so much for this beautiful film.

I was in Taiwan and heard about this film. I’ve watched it three times now. Each time I have watched it, I walk away with being moved so profoundly more and more. Tiffany, I’m also a middle child and I, too, can sometimes be stubborn in my drive. This film reminded me how important is to follow your heart and your passion. There are moments that take your breath away. Watching your mom and grandmother unite - wow! They say the umbilical cord between mother and child is never broken. I’m so relieved that they were able to find each other again. And you said you also found your mother and connected with her on a deeper level during this journey. This film is like a blanket wrapping you in love. This was unique and this was beautiful. Thank you for sharing this film, this love letter, with the world!

What a beautiful documentary. I cried and I miss my grandma so much who I lost because of covid.
