by far the most interesting technical TH-cam chat I've seen in my entire TH-cam watching experience :) keep it up. also TROVE I have an interesting Africa prospect to present to you for your consideration. I think you will find the technical merits very intriguing.

Thanks for your most kind words. Intrigued by your Africa prospect. Is it Zimbabwe by chance?
Send any material to info@1stsom.com and we will take look and see if we can fit it in to the busy video schedule.
Look forward to getting your email.

Mike Top video mate, Guyana is certainly a hot development, I believe ExxonMobil are now developing a gas pipeline and plant to land in Guyana this will produce many benefits to Guyanna

Seems like the next logical step. Paying levies to flare gas is not optimal. But projects have to establish a robust economic case to support infrastructure. To date billions and billions of USD have been invested to get to this stage, so trying to get cashflow in from production counters the vast outgoings.

Minimum Commercial Field Size > Unrisked P50! High risk well, with discovery well on Rhum having to be abandoned due to HPHT flow...

      Hi Adrian,
I'm sure Mitch and the team at Serica have compelling evidence that this can be an economic development as a tieback if sufficient HC volumes are found. It is a prospect that has been on the books for decades and, if successful, could extend field life at the KBR assets. Fingers crossed!
I know BP as operator didn't fancy North Eigg in their tenure. I am also confident that the operator and well management team at EXCEED will have planned for the HPHT section.

bp also saw a massive increase in Rhum gas GIIP over its depletion, more than realistically deemed from just the Rhum structure. Hence adding to the complexity of drilling North Eigg which at the time was also partnered by Iran. Geopolitics and data complexity has delayed drilling these accumulations.

@@adriangregory9669 Am aware the additional energy may be associated with South Eigg gas expansion. If North Eigg is the cause it is highly unlikely to be drained, though pressures may be lower than virgin pressures. Am sure this will have been modelled with material balance/reservoir simulation over the decades......
