The palm trees outside the art museum look a lot like Queen palms. The yellow flowers are violas (all colors except green) which are related to violets (white, pink, purple or blue-violet flowers with dark green heart shaped leaves that smell sweet) and pansies which have the largest flowers, usually two bright colors or more. They all bloom in the spring. These flowers are all edible and you may see them served at extremely fancy restaurants as part of the salads. Candied violets are a very expensive candy because they are tiny violet blossoms dipped in whipped egg white, dusted with superfine sugar and then dried. Candied violets are used to decorate tiny cakes like petit fours (pronounced petty fours) which is many layers of very thin cake with frosting between them and each piece is coated with frosting and then decorated. Petit fours aren't big and are good with a hot beverage like coffee or tea. Vincent Van Gogh is one of my favorite painters. He probably suffered from schizophrenia and depression and like many artists his work wasn't recognized until many years after his death. Van Gogh committed suicide and died several days after he shot himself. Vincent wasn't in his right mind at the time and regretted the act after the fact. This tragedy underscores how important it is for people to look out for one another. Someone very depressed may not realize that there is help out there for him and just needs a little encouragement to find it. Before buying an offroad vehicle take it for a test drive first. Sometimes the ride is not all that comfortable so if you plan to use a Jeep, for example, for commuting you have to keep that in mind. I don't recognize the offroad vehicle. It reminds me of a Jeep except it is longer with more seats and an enclosed back cab to transport items. I like the looks of the vehicle but I bet it drinks gas. I have a small SUV called the Ford Escape, not too fancy at under $30,000, and I love it. It is the first nice car I have ever had. My last old vehicle, a small two door Toyota truck, I bought for a dollar when it had 112,000 miles on it finally died at +270,000 miles. It had the stiffest steering you can imagine. There was no automatic anything in it. I did have a radio and air conditioning which was another first for me. The oven is self-cleaning. The abacus (pronounced ah-baa-cuss) is the item with large colored beads on it. It was invented by the Chinese in the 2nd century B.C. (Before Christ) and is their version of a calculator. The reason for the difference in price for the two white round tables to seat four comfortably is that the first one made of composite materials had a simple pedestal stand. The second table made from composite materials and wood had four wooden supports making up the pedestal. The last white table is 100% hardwood (probably oak), the top has the ability to widen the table by adding a table leaf (plank of finished wood) in the center so it can seat six easily. The pedestal it stands on was nicely turned on a lathe and has a lot of curves making it look graceful. Sofas can be very pricey but with care they should last for a very long time. What you are paying for is a very heavy wood frame covered with upholstery or cushions. Ikea is mid level in its pricing. Often times people go there to get ideas on how to decorate their home and to pick up a single piece of furniture. Ikea also gives out complimentary Swedish meatballs to customers or at least they did. In the USA most young people start out life with pieces of older furniture and dishes given to them by relatives and they start out renting a room in a house with other young people or a small bachelor/one bedroom apartment. Their first car may be an old one given to them by Mom and Dad or a cheap car that isn't fancy. Over time, people acquire nicer furniture usually one piece at a time. I always do price comparisons to try and find the best deal. You can save quite a bit if you do your research. DO NOT get into the trap of using credit cards because the interest is horrendous, and you will end up paying a lot more by doing that over time.
The palms were Canary Island Date Palms. The flowers were Pansies. In the South USA we plant pansies only in the coldest months, since they will not survive the hot and humid weather the rest of the year. I'm a landscaper on the gulf coast.

Aleks! I loved everything about this! Van Gogh, the classical music, your art - and your “signature! The flowers, IKEA! The “home” music and the details you focus on! Your cinematography was fabulous and…the ending!!! I’m so impressed and excited to see more of America through your eyes and heart! ❤🤍💙
Aleks my wife and I appreciate IKEA for prices and quality. We are both retired so we are not rich but we can afford IKEA. The things we have purchased from them have been of good quality. It's a good place to get ideas. Good luck with your furniture hunting and as always we wish you all the best! I am still amazed by your journey escaping Russia and all the people who have helped you along the way. Special respect to your sponsors Heather and Steven as well as Konstantin. Blessings to all!
I enjoyed this video very much! The music is my favorite - Vivaldi Four Seasons. The special effects were amazing at this museum. Looks like you had a fun time! You are so good at what you do! I'm an Aleks addict. Thank you!
I think the flowers outside were pansies. Planted them every year in the yard. Many different colors. You did not say which kitchen you wanted at IKEA. We could put it on your wish list (for much later). 🤣 Just kidding. Also, enjoyed the Van Gogh experience. You did a great job.
Thank you for sharing art exhibit! I enjoyed it very much. ❤ I hope you were able to eat in the restaurant in iKea. The Swedish meatballs are delicious 😊. The beads you asked about is called an “Abacus” it is a Mathematical tool.
What a wonderful experience you had at the exhibition. I love that you wrote 'My American World' on your art with your name so now everyone will see you were there and a part of it, too! Also, that was a fun trip to Ikea. It is fun to get ideas for how you might want to decorate your future apartment in America one day! It feels like so long ago when you went to the furniture store in Russia for the sofa.
I like IKEA furniture, I recently bought some "Kallax" shelving units that are easy to put together (most IKEA furniture comes as a 'flat-pack' kit you assemble yourself). They have a good range, some things are very good value, others can be more expensive. When I wanted a sofa, I found a really good second-hand one sold by a local charity in their shop. It was very cheap but looked new. Most of my other furniture is from IKEA, it's very practical and the less expensive items are good value for money.
IKEA has nice and affordable furniture-you just have to put together yourself. We got our son's dresser at Ikea. We purchased our sofa from Lovesac-It is an online store and they have physical stores you can go to. You can rearrange the couch(sofa) into any shape you want. It also has the surround sound speaker system built into the couch as well as charging ports for your phone and wireless charging. It was very expensive at around $11,000.00(that includes my husband's military discount). It is good quality though and we believe we will never have to buy another couch! I really enjoyed the video! P.S. The toy you were looking at with the beads is called an abacus 😊
Thank you for sharing the Van Gogh exhibit with us! Love your choice of music too (Vivaldi, from his Four Seasons). I often wonder if these artists and composers would have ever imagined that their work would be so popular to this day. IKEA is an experience for sure! I always get inspired to go home and reorganize and streamline my house afterwards. I happen to have the last white table you showed. It slides opens and an extra piece (called a leaf) comes up and the table becomes an oval shape and can seat 6 people comfortably. I love mine! Sofas are expensive everywhere. I paid $1,000 for mine from Jennifer Convertibles (that was a special sale) and it has a queen sized bed that folds out from it. Very useful!
Aleks, your music and editing is excellent and loved the ending! lol! Van Gogh is one of my favourite painters … unfortunately, he was such a torchered soul. Thanks for taking us along - yes, $40 was expensive. The cost of living in North America has increased in the last year especially due to inflation and “tight” supply on some items. Love from Canada ❤️🇨🇦
Awesome Video love the music in background it fit perfectly for the video. That a cool art museum. And the Jeeps at car dealership look nice and black one I can see you driving that maybe one day lol but very expensive. And ending part of video you laying in bed at IKEA that clever.😁😁
I can imagine that the Winter weather in some parts of USA would be very surprising. The differences in weather right now in the continental USA are staggering. It's bitterly cold in the upper MIdwest but Summer like in south Florida.
The landscape flower is a yellow pansy, also comes in purple, white, and multicolor it can survive minus 20 degrees Celsius. It is often grown during winter months but dies out in summer.

Thank you for showing us all a side of the US we tend to forget about.
You have this sweet innocence about everything you experience. You seem such a kind innocence soul. It’s sort of infectious. The prices in US IKEA seem slightly more than other places, I have seen that garden bench cheaper on the general IKEA site unless I am looking at the wrong thing.
Abacus to calculate math. Helfman is name of the car dealership. Salesman came out to assist you, sell you a car. Since Covid everything has gone up in price, double, triple or more.
After visiting the Van Gogh museum, I had a thought that you could do a reaction to to Don McLean's music video in honor of him simply called "Vincent". The fan made lyric video (61 million views!) shows all his artwork. Very touching tribute. By the way, I love that you chose Vivaldi for your music background!

Many museums are expensive. Some are free. I have done both & the free museums are quite impressive. But the pay museum do have some unique things from big name artists. The tables were different. Some were adjustable. Furniture can be had much cheaper. Some discount furniture places really sell junk but some are quite good. You can always shop Goodwill or Salvation Army. Maybe be the best place to shop clothes. A $75 Eurpean designer shirt is like $2.50. While there shop their furniture. Take a friend that can help you find the good quality furniture if you need one. It will be used but all the better sometimes.
Those yellow flowers are Pansies. They grow really easily and even when it gets a lorries cold. They come in many colors. I like purple and yellows together.
Great video! Your editing is very good. I know people who have been on TH-cam for years who don't edit as well as you do. I saw a lot of Van Gogh paintings when I was in Amsterdam. After seeing them in books and on posters my whole life, they were so much different in real life. There is a lot of paint on the canvas; it isn't flat at all. It was amazing to me. Did you have to get permission to film in the room and get in the bed? It was an amusing ending to your video.

Buy at a thrift store. They have solid wood furniture that lasts, at a fraction of the price of new.
And you can paint and update it as you like.
