Apart from engine stalling issues we even had a bike which had some other fault as well due to which it was cutting off. It was the relay that was not connected properly.

Thanks Montuned! I’ve had my 19 Himilayan since February, weather here in Vermont did not allow for riding much till May! In short my RE has 122 miles on it and I’ve had to tow it, push it, and push it some more.
I figured it was a fuel issue: pump operation erratic? It’s been garaged, and sitting for 3 months. I will check the relays and breathers and hope it becomes a reliable machine for me. Peace
Hi Sir Montuned, I have been to your channel for only 1 reason. The advice you gave led me to find the same issues and much more. I have to share, a loose ground under the tank, another poorly connected terminal at the injectors from the factory in addition to the kinked tube under the tank and another in the belly pan was not pushed on fully, causing restriction. Many Royal Enfield sufferers may benefit from going to experts like yourself instead of the dealership. My 2019 Himalayan stalled badly at 123 miles and left me pushing in Vermont. Peace bro

To be honest not checked or seen a bs6 in depth the way i had learnt bs3 n bs4 cos i owned one of each, but will check for bs6 n let u no, not sure how soon thou.
Did you visited RE service
Swap the 2 relays for better quality ones, especially if you have accessories attatched - USB lead, lights etc 👍🏻

Hi sir ..i love Himalayan..but all these days I was disappointed because it doesn't had ABS..but recently I got to know Himalayan is getting ABS in a month. So I am planning to get it.. I started researching about pros and cons..meanwhile I got to about tht and your tuning...iam from Hyderabad sir... And let me know that.is tuning compulsory for Himalayan ?..or just do it if we face any problem ? And where can people from other states can tune.. because Monty sir isn't available here!!
Thanx for ur appreciation. U dont have to worry abt tunning in bs4 just enjoy the ride. Its just that even those who havent owned a himalayan have made a bigger mess abt its quality. Very informative video Sirji! I dont understand the bike much technically, but 1 question came to my mind, please correct me if im wrong. If the issue is mainly due to evaporation or gas formation in tank, is it ok if we just open & close the tank lid at certain intervals when we go for a ride, like maybe whenever we take haults? Will it help to avoid the stalling if we just let the gas release after some intervals during our ride?
Some do that as well but then again what abt it shutting down while riding. Hence.
I own a bs4 Himalayan, which is the best engine oil I can use & its grade ??
I have got an issue in my himalayan.. upto 4000 rpm it ok but after that it is missing acceleration. i m in the remote part of Nepal where it is difficult to find the proper man for himalayan. so please can you sort out my problem..it will be a great help man...

Sir I got to know BS4 now comes with dual challen ABS. Is this a bike to put you money on? With all the rumours about re issues?
There is no re issues. If uve come across pls list them here so even ill educate myself... secondly i always suggested its the best bike in its price range plus. Every bike has its own issues and the company has dealt with it and now the complains have become too less almost nil...

Hello brother i havent yet tried it but then if its fuel system cleaner it will work for sure
I hv 2018 abs Himalayan ridden just 2000 kms. And while riding just 5km the engine gets too much heated that you can feel the heat in your legs. And riding 10 more kms the heat gets transferred from the engine to the oil tanks to such extent that you just can’t hold your thighs to the tanks. While the engine can cool after 1-2 hour but the oil tank still remains hot. Is this problem being faced by anyone
And also the temperature sensor shows the wrong temperature. It keep on increasing as the engine heats up.
Hi vicky the temperature sensor fosent show the engine temp. And if the temp has been high rcently then that due to the summer season cos in summer it heats more. Himalayan has a hotter engine. Also can u please tell me which engine oil ur using
Montuned it got its first free service on May 20 after 500km. The oil was changed by the agency itself. Will adding synthetic oil will lower the heat.? And why the hell tank gets heated up?
The tank gets heated up bcos of the engine but then the warmth should be bareable if its too high get it checked and ask them to check ur tappet settings as well by opening the tappet covers. The synthetic oil adds to over the temp but then for some it has even given clutch issues for gear changing. N while ur bike is in warranty use the oil that company puts and change it every 5000kms irrespective of what the service manual says.... cos it says top up at 5000kms and 15000kms but better change it completely cos it burns itself around 4000 to 5000kms
@@Montuned One himalayan owner suggested replacing RE oil of 1.8l for every 2500 kms till 10,000 kms. He said its running smooth & normal heat.

Himalayans have a different ratio for breaking. Usually its 70% front brakes and 30% rear brakes when u apply them. Thats the safest way to keep ur bike stable even in hard breaking..

Hi try n do what weve done it this video n the one b4 this... cud be possible ur over flow line is choked.. n try not to fill it more then 13 ltrs cos if u fill till the brim thats around 15ltrs it wud leak even if fixed on side stand

I have no issues so far. Already a year old today. Kms i havent done too many bcos i have bs3 as well which i ride more in the city and bs4 for extremely long runs. I trust both the models and they havent put me in trouble any time on rides as well. Go for it blindly. U wont regret ur decision its the best choice at that price too.

I have a serious fuel leakage from fuel lid... I have contacted and shown to my authorized service centres and they have failed to provide me permanant solution to this.. kindly help me to analyze the root cause to this and solution to abovr problem. I own BSIV version of himalayan...
How do you resolve the heating issues of bs4
How much wa does it get cos there is no heating issues in anymodels of himalayan. So just get that thing of urmind n enjoy ur ride. Every enfield since they were made have always been hot engines. Ride more heavier engines and ull start loving the heat generated by ur himalayan cos thats not too much
It seems more issues..more solutions...if we go for a ride an intelligent mechanic should accompany us...now I am having a second thought of buying a himalayan...
