We took our grandson there last year on his fall break from school. He reads and studies the Titanic and can tell me things I didn't even know about it. He was so fascinated with everything there, especially the grand staircase. Our host was amazed at how much Tyler knew when he asked him certain questions. We visited the titanic while on our honeymoon, it’s absolutely beautiful! They have the water in freezing temperature that you can stick your hand in, I didn’t last 5 seconds, it felt like needles and my arm was numb for the rest of the tour. They also have a door/window that shows the water coming up the stairs and lights flickering, and at the end the grand staircase gave me butterflies, made me feel dizzy and out of breath because for a moment I felt like I was on the titanic. I highly recommend this place! Such an amazing adventure
Such an amazing experience to walk through there with so many authentic artifacts including 6 lifejackets grouped together for the first time since the sinking over a century ago. (At least when I went there they had that display) They also recreated the first class staircase from the original blueprints used to build the Titanic which just gives you a sense of awe when you walk up those stairs. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're nearby or passing through.
Distant cousins survived in Lifeboat #13. For my visit, I am both honored and humbled, to have been afforded VIP treatment, given the tour as complement, and was given all three cards, representing the 2nd Class, surviving, Albert Francis Caldwell family. Thank you, TITANIC Museum!
When I saw the traveling version, I was a 3rd class passenger. I was born the day she died. My brother was the photographer who was going to photograph the ship coming in. He and my niece were both killed. My mom’s person survived.
Great museum. When you place your hand in that water your really get a understanding how cold it really was for all those people. It's a reality check. Yes the movie was absolutely amazing and a beautiful love story but it really was based off such a horrible tragedy. Feeling that water really hit me.
I went to the Titanic museum a few years ago. It was amazing and very touching. They had a matchbox that someone took with them onto one of the lifeboats. I highly recommend going there
I went last year and loved it. They give you cards of people who were passengers. I got Madeline Astor. It was cool to see different things from the ship. Nice staff too
I went to a Titanic exhibition with a young child and I will never forget how heart felt it was. And respectful. At the memorial part, she went to search for her given passenger's name to know if she was in the group of the survivors. She was. I was on the dead's list. I couldn´t care about my "death" I truly felt an enormous happiness and relieve because SHE survived.
My hubby and I went there a few years ago...It is so interesting and beautiful...The part that got to me was the view into the water and personal belongings on the ocean bed...And standing on the deck with freezing temps...It is done so well.

Oh it’s great I would recommend. This is coming from someone who has been there. My favorite part was in the back there was the actual shipyard where the titanic was built. On the ground you can see an outline to see how big the ship was
Very well presented video. The actors were excellent. Being a native East Tennessean I have visited the museum. Viewing the artifacts made the hair on my arms and neck stand up. It makes you reflect on what the passengers experienced that most fateful night. The few who survived were blessed indeed.
Living here in LA, I’m blown away how friendly and knowledgeable the tour guides are. Hollywood can’t recreate that. It makes me want to go there and leave this “me” city behind.
The pigeon forge TN is the first Titanic exhibit like this. There's another one in Branson MO. There's one also at the Luxor Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas. All very popular.
We came to Gatlinburg on our honeymoon in 2014 and this was a must see for me. I love the Titanic story and to come to this museum and see everything up close and learn more about the people was so worth it!
I met a lady with my Grandma at a antique store. She was a survivor of the Titanic she said . My Grandma talked to her for awhile but I was young and not all that interested. We’re from Michigan. I remember her First name only. Ruth was her name very sweet lady.
Wrong, if you just want the attractions then yes go there, but if you want to experience the history then Southampton is the place to be, I've stood on the docs there and you can feel the emotion and if you close your eyes you can hear everyone cheering and saying goodbye as Titanic set sail, no museum can compare with that, but typical American's would rather play "let's see if I survive or die" at a stupid American owned attraction when clearly it wasn't a game to those who died on Titanic.
I visited the little Titanic museum in Cobh (Queenstown)in Co. Cork last year where the Irish departed on the tender boat out to the Titanic which was anchored in Roches point for 1.5 hours before setting sale for New York. The little dock is still there just about. Captain Smith didn't come into Queenstown because it would have cost time. We visited an exhibition near Dublin a few years back and got to put my hand on an actual piece of Hull.
My husband, kids and I only got to take a few pics outside. We never got to go in because it was our last day in pigeon forge and we had to go back to our home state. It was beautiful from the outside, sure wish we could have got the chance to visit inside. I hope next time we can.
Was in a production of Titanic the musical a few weeks ago (I played Eleanor Widener). We had the wonderful privilege of performing at the museum. It was an amazing experience I will never forget!
I went there about 3-4 years ago. I was talking to the Captain. Of course he wasn’t the real one, but still a cool experience. But wait, there’s more... So he asked me if I knew how long the Titanic was. I answered it correctly, and what I’m about to say is completely true, I wouldn’t write this whole comment. It was at Pigeon Forge too. Anyway, I got it right and he gave me this big speech in front of everyone, I was really embarrassed lol. At the end, he held out a little plastic container and put it in my hand. I asked “what’s this?” He said something I will never forget. “You, are holding a piece of the Titanic”.
I NEED to visit here! I don't care if I have to pay a few entrance fees to explore this place from top to bottom; Every penny will be totally worth it in my book: I want to see and experience EVERYTHING this museum has to offer!!!
More than likely he would've died even without the dog. It was considered impolite and unmanly to take the seat of a woman or child in a life boat. Ironically, when they found his body it appeared he'd been crushed, most likely by a funnel.
I get that this is in the Us and all but they shouldn't really fly the US flag. If they are going to fly a flag then choose a northern Irish, English or the Union Jack as Titanic is very much a British ship.
Literally you can google why the US flag was on the front of the ship, that way when you get online to complain, you can stop yourself and not look like a fool, i hope within the last year you have learned why the US flag was in front
TAKE ME IN THERE😭😭🚢 I just want to see 1st 2nd 3rd class Room and the 1st 2nd 3rd passenger and the Crew😭😭 just want to See all history about Titanic😢😢😭
I have been to the one in Pigeon Forge. It is very nice. Quite a bit of interactivity, great guides in period dress. Fun for all I guess you could say.
The replica would have to be near 441 feet to be considered half scale. The Titanic was divided by it's expansion joints (Foward expansion, and Aft expansion.) Those expansions divided the ship into 3 sections: Foward, mid, and aft. The replica in Pigeon Forge ends shortly after the foward expansion. Plus they had to subtract the spacing in between the funnels to fit the desired look of two funnels.
I've lived here now for 26 years and from the age that I can barely remember 1st visiting with my parents I think I was around 5 or 6 but I remember when Pigeon Forge was a one lane highway there was maybe 5 or 6 hotels a handful of race tracks and your old so famous Cherokee Indians whom were every where and nothing but farm land and off in the distance you would here the whistle blowing from Silver Dollar City that train roared through the mountains. Now with all the hustle and bustle there's nothing but pavement motels hotels racetracks, puppet, titanic, restaurants, Moonshine Distilleries, shopping and more things than you can imagine. The most fun thing you should do when you visit our beautiful towns is start out around 6am. Pick your favorite log cabin pancake house have Breakfast then hit the restroom then on the road to travel. Start out in Pigeon Forge into Wears Valley really take back all the beautiful scenery stop off along the way at shops and cabins and fudge shops then into Walland and Townsend enjoy the mountain streams and Beautiful waterfalls along the way swimming Wholes kayaking or tubing or just enjoy the drive its breathtaking as you travel into Cades Cove then Across the mountains and comeback down into the backside of Gatlinburg there are 10 + Waterfalls along the way just pay close attention and stop off along the way when you can and follow the streams if you can. Trust me. If you start out at Wears Valley traffic light and travel this route from 6am to 6 or even 8 pm you will have traveled one of the most prestigious and Beautiful Routes that Tennessee has to offer. If you have read i hope you get too enjoy your time here there's nothing more beautiful.
I am a Titanic fanatic. But the most annoying thing here is that (and yes I know she’s acting) but all the WE had and WE did. That’s something only survivors and victims can claim and you’re taking that away from them. The museum is very cool and amazing to see. But it’s turned from museum to fun house at the expense of 1000’s of people gravesite re-created. IMO.
Serpentine Yes, you actually get to keep the passenger boarding pass, which they give you as you walk in. There is a gift shop at the end of the tour. :)
i am obsessed with the titanic feel so drawn to it for some reason, could it be that some of us were aboard the titanic when she sank in a previous life but we didnt survive so we are drawn to it in this lifetime 🌊🥺🤔💗🌌⚓️🌹💗
I went to the one in Orlando FL. We all got names of people on board and at the end we would see if we survived. I died also did my dad, sister, and brother. My mom was the only survivor.
took my son and daughter (2ish and 8 months) way back when. this museum was under construction at the time. i so wanted to go.. NOW we are going in april, and i will be taking the kids (now 12,10, and 8***8yr old was made the last time we were there***) i cant wait to experience this museum/attraction
I've been twice. My first time was a birthday present to me from my sister when the Titanic Museum first opened. I was third class & i survived. My second time i went, i was first class & i also survived. I haven't died yet. 😁
This is one absolutely beautiful place. I cannot wait to go back. Spoiler alert: the photo at the clock the offer is a green screen. At the end of the your they show the photo as if you're at the clock.

I've been all over the world and love history, but not easily impressed. I've been to this museum at least twice and have been really impressed. A bit expensive but worth the money and the time. Very well done.
I have been to this place several times it is so amazing I would probably work here if I had the chance I am moving up this way in the next 6 months that would be awesome to have a part-time job here or full-time I am so obsessed with the Titanic since I came up here the first time one of the best museums ever I felt like I was actually on the Titanic truly amazing
Been there once, it was nice. But knowing now that I'm related to John Jacob Astor IV it's gonna change how I feel going there... can't wait...it even had the Lego Titanic last time I went
I knew there was a Titanic museum in Branson, Missouri and Belfast, Ireland, but I didn't know there was one in Tennessee. Hopefully someday, I can visit all three. I'm very interested in Titanic, and I always love learning more about it.
Been there a few times...and there is a lot of paranormal activity that goes on. If you go ask them about the little boy ghost that haunts the gift shop area.
That is amazing. I would love to go visit that. I went to The Queen Mary [Long Beach, Ca.) when they had things there. It was pretty neat but sad at the same time.

IMO.
Antler Assassins TV- Bowhunting Television yeah that just turned my stomach when i heard that bs. Like chill lady ,. You’re playing dress up.
@@breAnnasmama It's called first person acting. She is an actress. That's what they do Karen. Good grief
We made a trip there a few years ago. It was wonderful to see the history of the ship .
Here is some questions do you keep the ticket is there any souvenir shops
Serpentine Yes, you actually get to keep the passenger boarding pass, which they give you as you walk in. There is a gift shop at the end of the tour. :)
Serpentine yes you get to keep it and there is a souvenir shop.
i am obsessed with the titanic feel so drawn to it for some reason, could it be that some of us were aboard the titanic when she sank in a previous life but we didnt survive so we are drawn to it in this lifetime 🌊🥺🤔💗🌌⚓️🌹💗
" the children love the Titanic "
Ummm I'm gonna go ahead and say NO, NO THEY DIDN'T
Loved visiting the museum this past September
Went there so cool
I went to the one in Orlando FL. We all got names of people on board and at the end we would see if we survived. I died also did my dad, sister, and brother. My mom was the only survivor.
When Im 10, I will go there and steer exactly how Murdoch and Moody Steered.
This is exactly why I love the ship herself 😍😍 I went to the museum for the first time and I fell in love with her story
Going on vacation to pigeon forge in the springtime and this is definitely on my list to go

FROM FRANCE....I TELL YOU ALL.....RESPECT ET " MERCI " FOR MEMORIES...
I've been to that place its fantastic I love Pigeon Forge Tennessee check Dolly Parton's pirate Adventure it's amazing
Amazing! It's like a journey back in time!
This is so interesting!!!! I will put this on my bucket list and visit.
I knew there was a Titanic museum in Branson, Missouri and Belfast, Ireland, but I didn't know there was one in Tennessee. Hopefully someday, I can visit all three. I'm very interested in Titanic, and I always love learning more about it.
Been there once a few years ago but going back in a week or two, so excited!
I remember when some of this went across the states. I saw some if it as a child when it hit Arizona it was so amazing.
i got tickets to go this upcoming weekend. im excited though im sad you cant take photos inside. i might try and sneak some. ofc no flash. would like to get some pics of the really cool stuff though.
The museum looks very well put together. Nice little walk through video! Thank you :)
