We Make a Call to Matt's Off Road Recovery for HELP!

- Normally when we call Matt from @MattsOffRoadRecovery, it's just to see if he wants to grab lunch or hit a trail. But on this day, we were off road testing our newly improved 426 Hemi Jeep Wrangler build, the Stepchild, for the very first time...alone (not uncommon for us) & totally unprepared (definitely uncommon for us). So when we snap a bolt and find ourselves stranded on the trail & in need of help - we decide to make our first ever call to Matt's Off Road Recovery for HELP!

I haven't watched the video yet because it just appeared in my feed but I'm sure y'all don't remember a couple years ago when I said "I wanna see the Morrvair recover the Step Child" and Kevin (presumably) replied and said "Never happen, the Step Child is way more built?" WHO'S LAUGHING NOW.
I mean, all of us laugh quite a bit in the video. You should finish watching it, since a recovery isn’t what was needed. 😊
@@LiteBrite Hmmmmmm?? it was a "recovery" / trail repair. Dontya hate that?😏
@@LiteBriteI'm just messing with yall anyway. Can't wait to watch the video.
I know I know. It’s all poking fun and having fun. 😊
@@LiteBritecame over from seeing ya on Matt's..
not that I want any negatives but sometimes the ego needs to be stowed.. even for myself.. lol
No he didn't have to tow you back, but any off roader knows that anytime you need to call someone for assistance or even to just bring a part for a trail fix.. then you've clearly been recovered...
Would you have made it out of there without Matt or anyone for that matter bringing the required parts and or tools... even if it's just a tool that was needed to continue on your way then you were recovered.. simply put you couldn't do it alone, so someone had to Bring necessary trail items..
Loved the video, will finish it later.. just didn't see the point of this comment. .. because when one of my boys brings me a simple universal.. and I install it and drive out fine under my own power I was sadly still recovered by my boy.. lol.. it really sucks when they've got a ford... lmao
Man The Banana is an extremely capable rig. Its cool to see the differences and similarities between the two rigs on the trail.
I always love seeing MORR and Lite Brite together. :)
Without Lite Brite there's no MORR. Only OG subscribers know
The stepchild is back, and a great lesson learned. Pays to have great friends
This jeep when y’all are done and old need to be in the jeep hall of fan and museum!
Please don't blame Chris, it happens to the best of us. Especially when we think that nothing will happen. It happens. Just glad that you have Matt around the corner from the house and trails. Kevin you owe Matt a steak dinner. You definitely owe Chris the whole cow for dinner tonight. Lite Brite Nation for the win. Still waiting to see Kevin's New trophy truck Brittany 🙏🙏🙏. God bless the lite Brite family
Love from Matt's subscribers, your step child is amazing, step behind banana 😅😅
Lite brite and Matt's off-road should get together more often. This video was epic. It's always great seeing you guys really test each other's limits together. 👍
specially in other platforms
Agreed. As soon as I saw the thumbnail I was in!
The Lite Brites (or Dim Wits) testing Matt? Are you serious? They could ride alongside him for years and never open their mouths, and still be too soon. Her talking over Matt's spotting is ludicrous!!
Love Matt's Off Road Recovery. He has saved the day so many times for every level of off roader. Now I'll have to watch his side of the story.
Love the fact that Brit is giving more information about what she is thinking while spotting.
@@iridium8341 Huh? I appreciate everything I see and hear from her.
I am super impressed by the Bananas ability, wow!
So glad to see y’all out in the Stepchild, awesome that you put real world things in your videos, like hey this is why you need a shake down run. Some people may not understand that but glad it was an easy fix and was great to see Mr. Matt finish the trial with y’all. As always another great video, keep up the good work.
The 10.9 marking is the (hardness) grade of the bolt. It is a metric grading system, so the bolt is a metric size. If it were a standard-size bolt, it would be marked with a 5 or an 8 (standard hardness grade) and so the bolt size would be standard as well.
Two of my favorite TH-camrs together in one video. Yay!🎉
The Step Child is a amazing rig, but there is nothing like watching the Banana crawl.
In my opinion you two are a positive influence to have fun and make everyone better.
I am a new subscriber from Matt's channel. Riding in stepchild would be a fun experience
Totally Nuts! That’s the brakes! I’ve often worried about how top heavy and tippy StepChild might be. What a contrast, and I don’t mean the colors - old XJ with a Six and JL with a Hemi; and both over-built! Four of the best rock crawlers around - Kevin, Brittany, Matt and Tom-Tom. LiteBriteNationNutBusters!
Time for front axel winch to keep the front end down on those steep inclines. It’ll also put more weight back on the front tires when pulled down.
I think Lite brite and Matt's off-road should get together and create a sandy hollow event. A mix of all vehicles and difficulties. 👍
Love to see "collabs" with two of my favorite off-road channels! Glad everything is alright and good to see the step-child again!
To be the perfect video, you also should have call Rudy with his Rudicon !!!
Like Brittany said "its a test and break in run". Lesson learned on this run. Bring tools and spare parts and dont go a lone. Happy Trails to you both!
Yes I do watch Matt's off road recovery 👍
I just love the family
Off road community rules
Another awsome video like always.. im soo glad the stepchild is back in action...
Stepchild: I am the baddest rig on the planet.
Banana: Hold my Beer.
🤣🤣🤣
RESPECT... GREETINGS FROM DENMARK
I've been a fan of #MORR for a long time now.
I just saw your channel's appearance over there.
You've got a new subscriber here. Awesome! 👍
Love your videos and Matts Off-Road videos. What a bonus to see you both together. ❤😊
Same here! This was unexpected! Matt and Kevin seem as down to earth as ya get.
Glad I saw you on Matt’s ❤️💪🏾
Love Matt! Awesome!
You all are so cool, I had a big smile on my face watching this vid. Keep it up
Kevin's forearms are vein central. Good job man.
There is just something entirely wholesome about 2 people geeking out over why a bolt sheared off! That's definitely a learning experience right there. So much so that I hope you guys keep an eye out for other bolts like that elsewhere.
Such GOLD!!!
Always fun watching y’all , your child is ready!
Awesome! As usual! ❤ you guys!
Yes!!! Glad to see the stepchild back on the rocks. And love how you guys left the entire bolt story in there not just edited out the parts where you thought it was loose. It was nice seeing the whole thought process.
It is good to see two of my favorite youtube channels and folks working together, and then wheeling together !!!!
Good call! Matt will figure it out somehow!
You definitely called the right guy. It was fun watching high dollar build wheeling with the budget build.
Two of my most watched channels, thanks guys.
Love both the channels! Great video!!!
Great vid, love the comradery between friends.
Awesome! Thank you.
Great Stuff, Thanks!
Awesome! We were heading up the hill back to the house when I saw the Step Child heading down.
You fits are so funny. You tell us that you are doing a shake down run, but who does shake down runs with only a crescent wrench lol. You are anticipating something breaking, but didn’t bring tools. If I were to label the situation, I’d say that you guys were just being impatient, and wanted to go have fun. I’m glad you guys are safe, keep bringing us new content . You guys are awesome , my favorite part of your videos is hearing your ideas and Chris fabricating your thoughts and then fabricating those thoughts and those thoughts again. Love y’all
Great video thank you!
Hell yeah, so glad I found your channel. Great wheeling and spotting.👍
lol.. thanks for sharing. Matt has been putting out some great videos lately too.
Kool to see ya out playen with matt...
As away, the best video on yt, love watching Matt's orr, y'all are crazy, stay on all 4 😮
Love Matt and his crew.
Love it, 2 of my favorite channels out together.
The step child looks amazing guy's i was glad to see it on the trails finally 😊 those shocks look fucking amazing. Those 40s look small now 😳
And this is why I love watching the Step Child Wheel! Well done Lite Brite, well done....
Great stuff. Good to see why a break in drive needs to be done.
This was absolutely the best of the best!!!
Whew that was lucky to be an easy fix. And you were able to prevent breakage on the other side. Nice to have such good friends like Matt and crew.
love to see Matt offroad with you guys!
We absolutely LOVE your Channel!
The rear bumper on the jeep is awesome!
Tucked in and very clean look.
I always wish you guys would do more videos together. This is awesome.
Nice work everyone, was nice seeing Matt and Light Bright working together.
My two favorite channel together, you are all awesome!!!!
Oh things that suck. Great to see you guys out having fun?? Have a great day!
My two favorites videographers together. Priceless. I enjoy so much this adventure.
enjoyed seeing Matt grab that chicken handle!
I love my Handy Flag!! so glad you guys told us about them.
Step Child is a beast! If I had to pick one I’m going Banana. I like the sleeper builds.
I watch Matts off road recovery all the time. Great video guys and girls.
Glad you are back. Missed you
Great job, love the video!!! It's crazy to think Kevin talked Matt into recording his recoveries ❤️❤️💯🤙
Nice collaboration guys 😊
Living your best lives!
Came from MORR. Awesome video you have a new subscriber!!! Now to go back and start watching everything I've not seen yet. Looking forward to following your adventures going forward!!
Welcome aboard!
Same here, that was fun to watch
You guys bring a smile to my face with every episode that I am lucky to have time to watch! Thanks for the great entertainment that you all provide.
Damn, I love your videos .... this one was the best .... love that Stepchild build! Love Matt too!
Great to see both of us guys together . Bring a bigger cressersant wrench next time
Yall need to go wheeling together more often. Loved this video.
I love you guys ! I've been following you since 2018. During the most difficult periods of my life you have been a source of joy and inspiration.
Over from Matt's channel. Had to come and subscribe after seeing your jeep step child wheel after Matt did his repair. Great wheel travel and that was one heck of a line. That suspension reminds me of cantilever that they use on BAJA and Monster Trucks.
What an awesome rig. Look forward to more videos in the future.
“Trust Fund Account” that’s not what I was thinking OF.
I see what you did there. 😜
saw you guys on Matt's channel. great job.
Fun! Chris and Kevin, you've gotta be STOKED ! What a custom piece of Functional Art.
its crazy in some situations how the suspension unloads now that it sits taller but very inpressed well done glad to see it back on the trails
Just watched both videos. Awesome 🤙🏾
More crossovers! This was great!
Best video, my two favorite videos in one, loved it❤❤
Great video❤
Great vehicles, great driving + Brittany...always fun to watch 😊
Matt is the in part the reason that I started watching your channel. I saw you both on one or more of Matt's videos. Thank you for your content.
So glad you all got in the vehicle quickly! I'm a long time storm chaser who was struck by lightning in 2001 (not while storm chasing haha). If you see your hair stand up and hear a crackling, you are the point of an imminent lightning strike! Always immediately get in the car or a home if this happens! Loved seeing Matt with you all on this one!
that was rad!!!
The random rocks in the sand are rough! It’s cool to see how well those shocks handle it.
Step Child is a beast even with this minor temp set back. Great Matt and team could help.
That new suspension is next level amazing.
Cool people with their great vehicles in a fantastically beautiful terrain. 😍🤩😎🤓
I learned this lesson. Now I carry spare bolts for every darn piece conceivable on my Jeep. Love your Children...:)
Glad to see Step Child back on the trails. Rory is the master at using the selectable transfer case. I’ve seen him do really cool things with trail mater. Once Kevin learns all the tricks he too will be a master.
Very entertaining, the Banana did really well. Shame we don't have play area's like this in the U/K. Best Wishes
