- In the last several off road videos, where we wheeled our Jeep Wrangler on several trails across the country on our way to Jeep Beach in Florida, we began to experience steering failure on our Jeep! Luckily finding and fixing the issue wasn't too hard!

Ron at Red Scorpion is a awesome guy, that's the only shop other than me to put they're hand on my jeep. An example of how great Ron is, he drove to my house atleast 40 min out of his way (each direction) to help me get my front locker fixed so my wife and I could make our weekend wheeling trip. Glad to see him get a shout out he deserves!
Keeping it alive with the "that's what she said" 😂✊️ yesss
I guess parts wear out over time. Luckily, you have friends everywhere that can help you both out. Happy Trails to you both.
Ron Davis!
Roll'n with celebrities.
Red Scorpion is an amazing shop.
Great shop & good people. ❤️😁🤙
Great to see shops willing to help people out.
We need a whole blooper reel video 😂😂
The guys at Red Scorpion in Morristown TN are awesome!
Ron is the man! He did my regear and axle trusses and they have been flawless for the last 2 years.
It’s good to have things back and working again.
Bleepin Jeep goes to the Red Scorpion in Pigeon Forge!
Keep issues. I have a Toyota stock pump, ifs box high steer and no hydro on 40’s. No issues steering.
Glad you guys are still grinding. Def something to learn for everyone! Hope to see you on the Con this year!
We're getting a PSC installed on our Jeep soon. I was debating between the electric pump and belt pump. Made the choice to go with the belt. Great video!
Thanks for making
Great job again.
Great video thank you!
Graduated in 94 and now 30 years later my daughter is graduating in 8 days
Wow looks like it was big problem in a little pump. Glad you took care of it. God bless take care.
Kevin you found a keeper!whatever you are doing keep doing it!Remember she is always right even when wrong 😂
Pretty obvious that Brit and Luna don't take themselves too seriously, and rather get on with enjoying life.
Can they teach that to other folks? World would be such a nicer place if folks were so chilled out.
Great people make for a fun time.
Eighth! Replacing drivers seat in my Jeep. Thank you E-Bay! How that little pump stood up to all the work and pressure is beyond me. Maybe Kevin, you have overdone your arms! Dogs are wonderful! Brittney editing - Who edits Brittney?! Really great to have great shops when you need them. LIteBriteNationWon'tSteerYouWrong!
I was in the US Army in Germany in 1994. She's a youngster @ Off-road and Chill.
Tell em Kevin, the manual steering is where your Guns came from!
Bro, great video but you’re a little OCD on that line. But now I’m gonna go check mine… 😂
Living your best lives!
Know the feeling about "It works fine, but there's the nagging feeling it's not right". Long ago had a car with 100,000 with the same radiator and thought it needed a radiator flush to celebrate it 100,000 mile anniversary ...so gave it a complete radiator flush... Next week, I ended up buying a new radiator. Moral: Don't fix what ain't broke
If what you're driving has 100,000 miles on it, then what's broke is You.
Hope that isn't a "power steering" issue...I've dealt with that in a Chevy Cobalt & it sucked as it made it, literally hard, to steer.....ugh....🤦🏼♂️😅 got a new car now, Chevy Camaro & not dealing with it. Hopefully your guy's jeep isn't suffering the same fate! 🙏🏻🤞🏻
Great video nice to know your buddy in Tampa also in pigeon Forge Tennessee wife and have wrangler 2014 and wife gladiator 2020 😀
Weird how quickly as easily you and the channel fell back into the visiting shops life vs Chris. I do really miss him but this felt very much OG Lite Brite as well. Lol
We definitely miss Chris too, but it seemed like a lot of people forgot that there was a period before Chris…and we managed just fine. 😅 It’s cool being able to get back to promoting shops around the country, and give people ideas of where they can take their rigs & local shops they can trust.
@@LiteBrite you two had an outstanding relationship with tons of different shops across the country before Chris. Hopefully they will be more than happy to get the free advertising as you start to revisit them. Looking forward to every new/old endeavor. Lol
:) Brittany working away.. cheers
is he referring to the Serial Numbers as part numbers?
1994.....I was in the military and had my first kid...
I was US Army in Germany.
Doggo said that wind sock looks like a mouse!!
Demonstrating garage yoga for repairs
Just replaced my steering box with a ported Blue Top. The pump is next. Then it will be something else. You know the drill.
With the hydro assist system, does the steering return to center? With no ram in line mine does, but with the ram I need to return it to center. I will be upgrading the psc pump to their high flow pump. Also psc ram and box installed in my xj.
PSC has a 1800 psi pump which is the best. It results in a tighter turning (steering wheel ) .... you need to upgrade to the 1800 at some point...
11:09 Knowing Brit personally...Kevin is talking and she's editing another video. EDIT: 13:21 confirmed.
When they make a upgraded part it gets new number 😊
Did PSC want that old one back for R&D?
Love brit.....ummmm.....you to kev. Lol
haha... i graduated in 94......... Luna is a still a kid...
Hey Kevin, I just put a PSE system on my JK and several times it has stalled while slowly turning left on full lock. Has this ever happened to you?
Whew
👍
But Kevin are you going to replace the stearing box.
The steering box is new, was replaced during the build process.
@LiteBrite oh ok. I hope things went better for you today
Could that dip be why your old pump failed?
No, it’s just been 3+ years of some crazy abuse. We just had some shaft play, which means the pump was just starting to wear out. The dip in the line could potentially cause the pump to cavitate, but you’d definitely know if that was the cause. Probably start screaming at you.
Hector 😂
What's not right ? The reservoir is higher than the pump . The fluid will go no matter.
All those gears would make great trophies when welded together. You wouldn't have steering issues if you kept it at the mall.....
If Kiven would just stop jinking himself, he could get more done. lol.
🤣🤣
@@LiteBrite And yes, I spelled his name wrong on purpose. lol.
Fookin send it
👍❤️ #Jellynation
7:20 Put it in my face, Brittany said Don't tempt me with a good time!
You need some time away from the camera Kev!!
Power steering without power is worse than manual steering
When a guy has a tattoo of his company logo it means he is either owner part owner or ready to retire. I would not give any company free advertisement on my flesh for free.
😂$350 for a steering pump ain't bad? Dang, I'm old. I remember when top of th' line pumps were $42 and you'd get anywhere from $7 to $25, depending on what part,, and how much you payed for it, for returning th' part you replaced, so they could rebuild it.
My JK only turns when t wants to.
Only takes one finger. That’s what she said.
Your Jeep is always broke dam mate
#newbuildproblems This is what shake down runs are for.
@@LiteBrite Amen sista get it!!
Aren't you guys going to hire another mechanic/fabricator to replace Chris?
No, they're selling that house and downsizing.
Eh, steering is overrated
