Im not saying anyone is lying intentionally, I’m saying I have a really hard time seeing Christa OR her brother bumping the group home album. I think it’s more likely it was a different record and somewhere in the course of telling the story, the exact album got mixed up. That’s what I’m saying. I could be wrong, Or maybe you’re wrong and not remembering 100% correctly what you heard. If I’m wrong then fine no big deal, I just can’t see Christina or her bro rocking this.

I remember, earlier in my career, I used to want to rap on this beat so badly! We didn’t have the internet then so I couldn’t find it. Long live Premo!!!

Outside the dope story, the first thing I noticed was the Frankie Beverly and Maze hoodie and hat. NOW THAT"S DOPE. Family just came from a road trip and MAZE was on repeat the entire way!

Make no mistake, Group Home was made to be good because of Premier. Lyrically, they were amongst the weakest ever. What worked for them was their gritty tone, their two distinctly different & unique voices, and Primo’s beats that helped elevate them. That said, Livin Proof & Supa Star amongst my favorite all time hip hop joints. Primo is a GOD!

So what you're saying is dope beats make sub par rappers sound better.

@@jmorrisey79 hell to the yes. Most of Group Home’s stuff post- Primo is just not good. I absolutely think in this case that they’d have been nothing without Primo.

Yes. I always wondered what the outcome would be if this was a Gang Starr, or compilation record instead. The beats are perfect.
The lyrics (especially Nutcracker) can be downright awful.
