That’s always been my headcanon as well. She realized Cadance’s cutiemark meant her destiny was related to the Crystal Empire, the same way that Twilight’s cutiemark visibly represented the element of Magic surrounded by the other five elements.

I always assumed Cadance would babysit Twilight because she was close to Shining Armor and wanted to get to know his family better (assuming they met and were dating or friends during that time)
I mean I get what you’re saying, but Prince Blueblood is Celestia’s nephew and I am CERTAIN that he isn’t Luna’s son, so my head-cannon is that they have offscreen family that we never get to meet.
Well, to be fair, Has Bros had a habbit of creating characters with no backstory and letting us fill in the blanks. My favorite pony Silver Spoon got very little screen time and development beyond following Diamond Tiara around. Cozy Glow however appeared from no where, told us nothing about herself beyond her evil plans, and no pony asks where this kid came from or who her parents are. They just let her hang around until she tired to suck all the magic out of friendship. LOL

Princess Cadance is probably one of my favorite characters in the show, i really wish that this new comic will answer our questions about her and her backstory, could also be interesting if they made a backstory for other characters as well, Celestia, Luna, Amore, Discord, there are a lot of interesting characters that we NEED more context about.

@ im aware she never mentioned her it’s just a theory. and the comics are semi-canon basically as long as something doesn’t contradict what happens in the show then it can be read as being canon. We’re told their was a queen who ruled the crystal empire and started the crystal fair, this is likely princess amore as this first crystal fair is actually mentioned in “the journal of the two sisters” which was written by someone on the show and is meant to be the book that twilight reads in season 4 of their journal. I believe the journal does contradict some things in the show that happened later when it released but it still mentions amore by name showing she’s probably canon.
something you didn't mention that is probably the reason why the "princess Amore is Cadance's ancestor" theory exists, is that in "the siege of the crystal empire" (issue 34-37, i'm specifically talking about issue 36 though) Radiant Hope meets Cadance and LITERALLY TELLS HER "you look a lot like princess Amore, you're related to her, aren't you?" to which Cadance replies that she doesn't know her real family, and that she was an orphan. It isn't explored much but it's a nice insight to the little we know about Cadance and her real backstory.

Another weird fact about Cadance. During Tirek incident in S4, Tirek was surprised to learn there is a FOURTH alicorn in Equestria. He wasn't aware about the crowning of Twilight, simply because he was jailed in Tartarus and, probably to recover a bit of its strenght, took his distance with Equestria since his evasion (about that, it was told during the princess council S4Ep25 he surely escaped while Cerberus temporarily left its post, probably a reference to Cerberus incoming Ponyville during S2Ep20), and so he didn't learn about Twilight ascension. Though Tirek looks astonished of the presence of a fourth alicorn, that wasn't the same with Cadance. So the question is: how was Tirek aware about Cadance and not Twilight? Was Cadance already an alicorn princess at the time he was still free (that's to say a thousand years ago)? In that case, what is the real age of Cadance?
I would a series exporling Cadance. Especially considering her being a Pegasus originally, it would be fascinating to see how she adjusted to having unicorn powers and spell casting. And the idea of her being raised by earth ponies how she delt with learning to fly. Also how does her adoptive parents feel about her becoming a princess? In the comics (right not) we only get teenage cadence who went to highschool in canterlot. The fact that she was younger than twilight when she ascended is fascinating too.
(headcannon) she was taken in by earth ponies in Vanhoover but then when she ascended, her parents gave Celestia permission to take her under her wing as now she had uncontrollable alicorn magic. Magic expelling from a user who didn't know how to properly control it is very dangerous and Celestias magic school could help with that. While she was there she got the tutoring she needed but didn't get along with her Peers due to them being jealous of her natural magic poweress - being an alicorn. They didn't understand that she had earned that power through her efforts saving others from prisima and her humility. Cadance wanted her normal life back and wanted everypony to treat her like anyone else. So she was transferred to Canterlot public high school were she could start over. However it was hard to hide the fact that she is an alicorn and became very popular because of that. But that hype dyed down within the first month as she wasn't the fresh new trendy gossip anymore. She then started making friends who didn't care about her status - including Shining Armor. From there shed become Twilights foal sitter. And then start dating Shining around when Twilight gets her cutiemark and shining getting into the guard school.
Cadence's full Name is: Mi Amore Cadenza which is Italian for "My Love Cadence." We also get to see How she got the Gradient on her Wings Through Cozy Glow Specifically her Alicorn Filly 2.0 and Her Older Nightmare moon Esque form. Pegasi who Earn or get their horn after Ascending into Alicorn stauts Get The Gradient on their Wings. What's crazy is that some people Belive her to have Been born as a Unicorn Even though the Other Two eventually three Alicorns Don't have That Gradient on their Wings.

I think you're right, I remember borrowing one of the comic books from the library and her (crushing on not dating shining armor) and the moment she was left alone with twilight sparkle (baby sitting) asking twilight to tell her everything about shining and the two of them making a love/compatibility chart together to find out how that would work out.
I do like this headcanon, but it does have a major hole on it: Princess Amore is a unicorn, while Cadence started out a pegasus (before becoming an alicorn). If some of the pieces of Princess Amore were put together, I don't see how it would have resulted in her incarnation randomly changing species like that.

I really appreciate you mentioning how it seems Celestia isn't directly responsible for Cadance, or Twilight's, ascension to Alicornhood. It always made sense to me that way when I first saw the episode, and so seeing it so widely accepted in the fandom that Celestia can make Alicorns has always confused me. When I found that book I felt a bit vindicated that it implied Celestia had no control over it. And then there's the comic where Sunset finds Celestia's magic book showing she can create Alicorns, but the comic has always made some wild leaps in logic regarding the show, like making Nightmare Moon a separate being.

I keep seeing people point out how we are getting a G4 comic now and it's just Hasbro giving up on G5 but a lot of people don't seem to understand this isn't new. Even after FIM the show ended we were still getting comics with that cast in it even while G5 comics were being made so this isn't new this is just normal. If anything the only odd thing is this Cadince one is using the g5 logo
I think it’s entirely possible and maybe even likely that the upcoming cadence comic retocons and/or decanonizes some things we know about her. If I were to change one thing I’d make princess amore an alicorn to fit in with the new skyros lore better.

I was watching this video while I was folding laundry, and then my nephew came in and saw what I was watching and begged me to restart the video (we've been really into MLP recently 😅)- we both really enjoyed the video!
- Celestia adopted both Blueblood and Cadance as a neice/nephew as to not replace their parents as we are never given a backstory on either its simply a respect thing - Twilights family is highly suspect to be some type of nobility due to the pink emblem (the siblings' cm), plus at this point Shining Armor would have either been a guard or guard in training, and if you are to take specfic comics into canon Cadance would of course spend time with her crushes sister to get cloeer to him - Celestia does not choose the elements 😭 this is obvious but also confirmed through the s10 comics that while some tribes know the esscence of the elements they do not always know who is meant to weild them. - I have a very lengthy theory on alicorns and the genetics of ponies that would talk about flurrys birth but ill leave that alone for now. - While the Princess Amore thing is cool and all shes not technically dead meaning a reincarnation is unlikely, similar to the Storm King she was crystalized and shattered and scattered throughout equestria but her actual spiritual self is still in limbo (like the pillars pre s7 finale). While it was stated they COULD put her back together to my knowledge that never happened. It was instead insinuated that Cadance is a distant relative of Amore likely being some form of neice or cousin to her. Also her full name is Princess Mi Amore Cadenza however it is pronounced differently. Not to mention theres *another* comic where Amores pressence still remains under the crystal empire which is where she helped Shining Armor find an old spell of hers. - The Rise of Cadance. Hm. So rumor has it that the story has been partially leaked and it actually follows that really shitty Canterlot plot instead where Cadance is helping Celestia defeat smth. I too hope this is not the outcome but it is something to think about and then try and determine which is supposed to be canon 😭
my first idea of why Cadence would babysit Twilight is her family is RICH. Twilight was in Celestia's school before becoming her pupil and I think it would be pretty expensive to just be there with no apparent talent at that time
Just my personal headcanon, but I imagine "adopted niece" means Celestia found a set of trusted friends to adopt her as her parents, and they become part of her extended royal family in return. I'd like to think this is a thing she does regularly over the years and has tons of honorary nieces/nephews, like Prince Blueblood.
She was likely adopted as a “niece” to avoid offending her actual adoptive parents whilst also making Cadence feel at home with the princesses. Twilight would be a different story as she met Celestia at such a young age, and Twi already idolized Celestia in a way that “pupil” was just as, if not more comfortable then being family.
an adoptive niece could come from having an adoptive brother/sister, but that also makes little sense when applied to celestia. another reason would be a brother/sister adopting a daughter. runs into similar problems the headcanon provided is the reasoning that makes sense as opposed to real-world logic of how youd get a adoptive niece/nephew. maybe there could be other reasons, but those would have to be headcanon as well-unless we get a new g4 lore drop
I’m surprised you don’t mention what happened in the Crystal Empire episodes. At the end of the second episode, as Cadance and Spike land on the ground carrying the Crystal Heart to the Crystal Ponies so that they can power the heart and defeat King Sombra, a pony points at Cadance and shouts, “LOOK! IT’S THE CRYSTAL PRINCESS!” This is strange, because the Crystal Ponies were all previously suffering from amnesia due to King Sombra’s curse that he placed on the Empire (and Cadance wasn’t really their princess yet when she and Shining Armor were there to protect the Empire so the Crystal Ponies didn’t really know who Cadance was yet), but as the Crystal Ponies began to get more and more in touch with items from their past (aka the Crystal Fair), they started to gain their memories back. Once the pony saw The Crystal Heart (which is arguably the most important artifact of their Empire), he recognized who Cadance was. This makes me think that Cadance is DEFINITELY Princess Amore/the original Crystal princess who ruled before Sombra. Not to mention that Cadance’s full name is Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, so it’s not a stretch to assume that her name was shortened to Princess Amore once upon a time. FURTHERMORE, look at Cadance’s color scheme. Her coat and mane have the same Crystal Pony sheen that can be seen in the coats and manes of the Crystal Ponies (aka, Cadance looks noticeably different from the ponies of Equestria). It’s not a stretch to assume that Cadance herself IS a Crystal Pony and not just their leader.
imagine if they had her introduction be a 3 parter, with part one being her being Twi's foalsitter but near the beginning, so foal Twi doesn't like her, but since Cadence wants to connect with Twi, she writes a book about her past, similar to a bedtime story/picture book, with plenty of words and possible vague aspect about the Crystal Empire from Celestia's telling of its history and her possible connection to that history, so the book goes on the whole "enough crystals of the Princess came together to form a foal at the edge of a certain town" etc, and goes into Prismia stuff, and her ascension. So Twi later believes the last part being more factual after growing up, but with vague enough memories to not believe in the Crystal Empire and that "Dark Mage" making a Unicorn Princess into Crystal statue stuff, so her memory would make the rest of the Empire storyline more fascinating. While also giving us a foreshadowing of Sombra earlier on to have more fan speculations, which would have been interesting to see how the show might've gone if they took a look at that for inspiration of the Empire and its storyline to make it more fascinating... idk i guess im rambling now, lol

Correction, unless I'm late: Cadence was planned as unicorn by Lauren Faust, but Hasbro made her alicorn. In MLP books she was born as (crystal?) pegasus, but became alicorn later. Probably this decision was made, to make difference from Twilight becoming alicorn as unicorn. Also to show that not only unicorns can become alicorns. (I hope I don't sound obnoxious, but you can look up these facts on the internet. Probably Lauren mentioned it on her Deviantart account). Anyway video is great and Cadence deserves love
Terry Pratchett (God rest his sole) wrote a book where a character (Vampire) bread family lines like prize winning dogs. The Vampire did this for multiple hundreds of years. In MLP, the Fact that Two master class spell casters came from the same family....and the fact that Cadence was selected to mate with shining armor.....Well. I never saw Celestial as benevolent. I Always saw Celestial as the series main hidden villain. I believe Celestial bread the Sparkle family over centuries.
About her babysitting Twilight: Her family lived in Canterlot and her parents had at least enough money and/or connections to send both of their children to the most prestigious school in the country. I would bet that her parents are part of the upper 1%. So not quite so random. To quote Silver-Quills review of Amending fences: "I often forget this because Twilight is so very easy going and relatable, as opposed to most of Canterlot, but she really is the 1%. She went to a prestigious school tat had graduates working for the princess, her brother made it to captain of the royal guard, her foal sitter was royalty. I'm betting her parents are loaded because she's never once worried about money or support. And all of that was before she became royalty herself."

I thought that perhaps (aside from being convenient for the writers) cadence knowing and babysitting twilight could have something to do with her powers as an alicorn, you remember how after twilight got her powers a castle grew from her house and she suddenly had friendship missions? It could be something like that - of course that may not have happened at this point, and it could be that it's something as simple as she's adopted by celestia, is working with/for her or at school etc and becomes acquainted with shining armour through that starts to babysit twilight. Either she already has a relationship with shining armour by then, or they're friends that develop into more through the time they spend together, perhaps even during these babysitting sessions.
i headcannon atleast that twilight sparkles family are very rich and could afford a babysitter such as cadence, and at that point maybe cadence and shining probably knew about eachother.

Fun fact Flurry heart’s biology makes sense because cadence was born a Pegasus and that’s why she’s the only one (aside flurry) with 2 color wings signifying that’s the “dominant” genetic in her body, since she became an alicorn however and shining armor is a unicorn there a common genetic, therefore 1wings=2horns, meaning if shining armor was an earth pony or a Pegasus flurry would be a pegasus
Look into the comics, shining armor and cadence used to go to the same schools ( shining armor had a crush on her ) during that time line twilight was still a filly then, I would assume the shining armor mentioned twilight, since cadence is a reallly sweet caring pony at some point she baby sitted twilight
I guess you need you positive reinforcement, so I'm going to say I like this video, is clear on what you intended to do, and the information you provided is clear and accurate and cited your sources. However, and not loose my grim touch, I would like to add something to the conversation. There is one more book that provides interesting context to Cadance backstory: "Princess Cadance and the Spring Hearts Garden". It's not much and we could even say it introduces some contradictions, but it's from the same author as the Crystal Heart Spell so... Maybe G.M. Berrow had the real story about Cadance. In the book we are told a couple that she has visions like Celestia, and she used to live with Celestia and Luna in Canterlot, this detail is interesting since it means despite her young appearance, it means she is at least 1,000 years old. Once again I thank you the effort and dedication you do on your videos.

My guess is that it's likely that Shining Armor (Twilight's older brother) brought Twilight with him sometimes while training for the guard (depending if both of their parents go out for work since it's not far fetched if the guard allowed him to bring her sometimes cause of that) so if that's the case. Maybe Cadence didn't mind taking care of Twilight while Shining Armor was in training.
Another weird fact about Cadance. During Tirek incident in S4, Tirek was surprised to learn there is a FOURTH alicorn in Equestria. He wasn't aware about the crowning of Twilight, simply because he was jailed in Tartarus and, probably to recover a bit of its strenght, took his distance with Equestria since his evasion (about that, it was told during the princess council S4Ep25 he surely escaped while Cerberus temporarily left its post, probably a reference to Cerberus incoming Ponyville during S2Ep20), and so he didn't learn about Twilight ascension.
Though Tirek looks astonished of the presence of a fourth alicorn, that wasn't the same with Cadance. So the question is: how was Tirek aware about Cadance and not Twilight? Was Cadance already an alicorn princess at the time he was still free (that's to say a thousand years ago)? In that case, what is the real age of Cadance?
I would a series exporling Cadance. Especially considering her being a Pegasus originally, it would be fascinating to see how she adjusted to having unicorn powers and spell casting. And the idea of her being raised by earth ponies how she delt with learning to fly. Also how does her adoptive parents feel about her becoming a princess? In the comics (right not) we only get teenage cadence who went to highschool in canterlot. The fact that she was younger than twilight when she ascended is fascinating too.
(headcannon) she was taken in by earth ponies in Vanhoover but then when she ascended, her parents gave Celestia permission to take her under her wing as now she had uncontrollable alicorn magic. Magic expelling from a user who didn't know how to properly control it is very dangerous and Celestias magic school could help with that. While she was there she got the tutoring she needed but didn't get along with her Peers due to them being jealous of her natural magic poweress - being an alicorn. They didn't understand that she had earned that power through her efforts saving others from prisima and her humility.
Cadance wanted her normal life back and wanted everypony to treat her like anyone else. So she was transferred to Canterlot public high school were she could start over. However it was hard to hide the fact that she is an alicorn and became very popular because of that. But that hype dyed down within the first month as she wasn't the fresh new trendy gossip anymore. She then started making friends who didn't care about her status - including Shining Armor. From there shed become Twilights foal sitter.
And then start dating Shining around when Twilight gets her cutiemark and shining getting into the guard school.
Cadence's full Name is: Mi Amore Cadenza which is Italian for "My Love Cadence."
We also get to see How she got the Gradient on her Wings Through Cozy Glow Specifically her Alicorn Filly 2.0 and Her Older Nightmare moon Esque form. Pegasi who Earn or get their horn after Ascending into Alicorn stauts Get The Gradient on their Wings.
What's crazy is that some people Belive her to have Been born as a Unicorn Even though the Other Two eventually three Alicorns Don't have That Gradient on their Wings.

I think you're right, I remember borrowing one of the comic books from the library and her (crushing on not dating shining armor) and the moment she was left alone with twilight sparkle (baby sitting) asking twilight to tell her everything about shining and the two of them making a love/compatibility chart together to find out how that would work out.

I do like this headcanon, but it does have a major hole on it: Princess Amore is a unicorn, while Cadence started out a pegasus (before becoming an alicorn). If some of the pieces of Princess Amore were put together, I don't see how it would have resulted in her incarnation randomly changing species like that.

I really appreciate you mentioning how it seems Celestia isn't directly responsible for Cadance, or Twilight's, ascension to Alicornhood. It always made sense to me that way when I first saw the episode, and so seeing it so widely accepted in the fandom that Celestia can make Alicorns has always confused me. When I found that book I felt a bit vindicated that it implied Celestia had no control over it.
And then there's the comic where Sunset finds Celestia's magic book showing she can create Alicorns, but the comic has always made some wild leaps in logic regarding the show, like making Nightmare Moon a separate being.

I was watching this video while I was folding laundry, and then my nephew came in and saw what I was watching and begged me to restart the video (we've been really into MLP recently 😅)- we both really enjoyed the video!
Let me guess she was pampered and pink and everyone loves her and serves her
- Celestia adopted both Blueblood and Cadance as a neice/nephew as to not replace their parents as we are never given a backstory on either its simply a respect thing
- Twilights family is highly suspect to be some type of nobility due to the pink emblem (the siblings' cm), plus at this point Shining Armor would have either been a guard or guard in training, and if you are to take specfic comics into canon Cadance would of course spend time with her crushes sister to get cloeer to him
- Celestia does not choose the elements 😭 this is obvious but also confirmed through the s10 comics that while some tribes know the esscence of the elements they do not always know who is meant to weild them.
- I have a very lengthy theory on alicorns and the genetics of ponies that would talk about flurrys birth but ill leave that alone for now.
- While the Princess Amore thing is cool and all shes not technically dead meaning a reincarnation is unlikely, similar to the Storm King she was crystalized and shattered and scattered throughout equestria but her actual spiritual self is still in limbo (like the pillars pre s7 finale). While it was stated they COULD put her back together to my knowledge that never happened. It was instead insinuated that Cadance is a distant relative of Amore likely being some form of neice or cousin to her. Also her full name is Princess Mi Amore Cadenza however it is pronounced differently. Not to mention theres *another* comic where Amores pressence still remains under the crystal empire which is where she helped Shining Armor find an old spell of hers.
- The Rise of Cadance. Hm. So rumor has it that the story has been partially leaked and it actually follows that really shitty Canterlot plot instead where Cadance is helping Celestia defeat smth. I too hope this is not the outcome but it is something to think about and then try and determine which is supposed to be canon 😭

Just my personal headcanon, but I imagine "adopted niece" means Celestia found a set of trusted friends to adopt her as her parents, and they become part of her extended royal family in return. I'd like to think this is a thing she does regularly over the years and has tons of honorary nieces/nephews, like Prince Blueblood.
She was likely adopted as a “niece” to avoid offending her actual adoptive parents whilst also making Cadence feel at home with the princesses. Twilight would be a different story as she met Celestia at such a young age, and Twi already idolized Celestia in a way that “pupil” was just as, if not more comfortable then being family.

the headcanon provided is the reasoning that makes sense as opposed to real-world logic of how youd get a adoptive niece/nephew. maybe there could be other reasons, but those would have to be headcanon as well-unless we get a new g4 lore drop

I’m surprised you don’t mention what happened in the Crystal Empire episodes. At the end of the second episode, as Cadance and Spike land on the ground carrying the Crystal Heart to the Crystal Ponies so that they can power the heart and defeat King Sombra, a pony points at Cadance and shouts, “LOOK! IT’S THE CRYSTAL PRINCESS!” This is strange, because the Crystal Ponies were all previously suffering from amnesia due to King Sombra’s curse that he placed on the Empire (and Cadance wasn’t really their princess yet when she and Shining Armor were there to protect the Empire so the Crystal Ponies didn’t really know who Cadance was yet), but as the Crystal Ponies began to get more and more in touch with items from their past (aka the Crystal Fair), they started to gain their memories back. Once the pony saw The Crystal Heart (which is arguably the most important artifact of their Empire), he recognized who Cadance was. This makes me think that Cadance is DEFINITELY Princess Amore/the original Crystal princess who ruled before Sombra. Not to mention that Cadance’s full name is Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, so it’s not a stretch to assume that her name was shortened to Princess Amore once upon a time. FURTHERMORE, look at Cadance’s color scheme. Her coat and mane have the same Crystal Pony sheen that can be seen in the coats and manes of the Crystal Ponies (aka, Cadance looks noticeably different from the ponies of Equestria). It’s not a stretch to assume that Cadance herself IS a Crystal Pony and not just their leader.

imagine if they had her introduction be a 3 parter, with part one being her being Twi's foalsitter but near the beginning, so foal Twi doesn't like her, but since Cadence wants to connect with Twi, she writes a book about her past, similar to a bedtime story/picture book, with plenty of words and possible vague aspect about the Crystal Empire from Celestia's telling of its history and her possible connection to that history, so the book goes on the whole "enough crystals of the Princess came together to form a foal at the edge of a certain town" etc, and goes into Prismia stuff, and her ascension.
So Twi later believes the last part being more factual after growing up, but with vague enough memories to not believe in the Crystal Empire and that "Dark Mage" making a Unicorn Princess into Crystal statue stuff, so her memory would make the rest of the Empire storyline more fascinating. While also giving us a foreshadowing of Sombra earlier on to have more fan speculations, which would have been interesting to see how the show might've gone if they took a look at that for inspiration of the Empire and its storyline to make it more fascinating... idk i guess im rambling now, lol

Correction, unless I'm late: Cadence was planned as unicorn by Lauren Faust, but Hasbro made her alicorn. In MLP books she was born as (crystal?) pegasus, but became alicorn later. Probably this decision was made, to make difference from Twilight becoming alicorn as unicorn. Also to show that not only unicorns can become alicorns.

Terry Pratchett (God rest his sole) wrote a book where a character (Vampire) bread family lines like prize winning dogs. The Vampire did this for multiple hundreds of years. In MLP, the Fact that Two master class spell casters came from the same family....and the fact that Cadence was selected to mate with shining armor.....Well. I never saw Celestial as benevolent. I Always saw Celestial as the series main hidden villain. I believe Celestial bread the Sparkle family over centuries.
About her babysitting Twilight: Her family lived in Canterlot and her parents had at least enough money and/or connections to send both of their children to the most prestigious school in the country. I would bet that her parents are part of the upper 1%. So not quite so random.
To quote Silver-Quills review of Amending fences: "I often forget this because Twilight is so very easy going and relatable, as opposed to most of Canterlot, but she really is the 1%. She went to a prestigious school tat had graduates working for the princess, her brother made it to captain of the royal guard, her foal sitter was royalty. I'm betting her parents are loaded because she's never once worried about money or support. And all of that was before she became royalty herself."
I‘m looking forward to the comic and hope that it will address the issue of Cadence properly. But as we know oftentimes the hype ends in disappointment.
I thought that perhaps (aside from being convenient for the writers) cadence knowing and babysitting twilight could have something to do with her powers as an alicorn, you remember how after twilight got her powers a castle grew from her house and she suddenly had friendship missions? It could be something like that - of course that may not have happened at this point, and it could be that it's something as simple as she's adopted by celestia, is working with/for her or at school etc and becomes acquainted with shining armour through that starts to babysit twilight. Either she already has a relationship with shining armour by then, or they're friends that develop into more through the time they spend together, perhaps even during these babysitting sessions.
i headcannon atleast that twilight sparkles family are very rich and could afford a babysitter such as cadence, and at that point maybe cadence and shining probably knew about eachother.

Fun fact Flurry heart’s biology makes sense because cadence was born a Pegasus and that’s why she’s the only one (aside flurry) with 2 color wings signifying that’s the “dominant” genetic in her body, since she became an alicorn however and shining armor is a unicorn there a common genetic, therefore 1wings=2horns, meaning if shining armor was an earth pony or a Pegasus flurry would be a pegasus

I guess you need you positive reinforcement, so I'm going to say I like this video, is clear on what you intended to do, and the information you provided is clear and accurate and cited your sources.
However, and not loose my grim touch, I would like to add something to the conversation. There is one more book that provides interesting context to Cadance backstory: "Princess Cadance and the Spring Hearts Garden". It's not much and we could even say it introduces some contradictions, but it's from the same author as the Crystal Heart Spell so... Maybe G.M. Berrow had the real story about Cadance.
In the book we are told a couple that she has visions like Celestia, and she used to live with Celestia and Luna in Canterlot, this detail is interesting since it means despite her young appearance, it means she is at least 1,000 years old.
