    Thanks it's informative video. Why static safety factor Play an important role in LM rail or Ball screw

      The LM rail or ball screws have balls inside them which not only reduce the friction but also carry the load. So if these balls gets deformed the load carrying capacity will get affected. That's why the static safety factor is important. The higher the safety factor the greater life it will have. But again you have to look for a proper balance. Because too high safety factor will increase your cost and also can occupy more space as the size of the rail or ball screw will be larger.

    Nice. And one more thing can we explained the how much of load required by the bearing pressing in the crankshaft ,by using the interference fit between the bearing and crankshaft.

      Thank you Venket👍. I think you are asking about the calculations of interference fit parameters between shaft and bearing. so here are some of the links you can go through to get the required parameters:-

    Hi, Can I change the drive from ball screw to motor with timer belt in the software?

      hi Jacob. it can not be changed in this tool but you can get something useful in the link attached. th-cam.com/video/Q_3qkLC_2eQ/w-d-xo.html

      you can get the formulae in the THK catalogue. the link is : tech.thk.com/en/products/pdf_download.php?file=511E_01_LMGuide.pdf

    How to get the values of rail span and block span ?

    • @IntroMech562
      @IntroMech562  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The rail span and Block span will be dependent on your mounting plate dimensions and the space availability in your design. So as per your design those values should be considered.!

    How we select no of block for rail

    • @IntroMech562
      @IntroMech562  ปีที่แล้ว

      It primarily depends on the load and moments that are coming on the guide blocks. Because the blocks are nothing but bearings with some static/dynamic load carrying capacities which you can find out in the catalogues.
