Thanks Stanley for your budget this month. Wow to be able to take your recent trip for as little as 131.00 is totally amazing. You're correct thats a normal one night stay in the US. I cant wait to venture out and see some of those areas. Thanks again.
A couple of items stood out for me. You mentioned that you are funding your wife's social security? That is such an honorable way to express your commitment. Would you do a video to highlight some of the particulars with the Philippines Social Security program? Just the basics, age requirements, the average payout one could expect, how many contributions or how long for a Philippines citizen to be eligible to receive benefits. If the Filipina is with me from the, beginning, middle and the end of me, I don't want to leave her empty handed. Credible is a word I have described you in the past and now honorable is another word, keep it up. Happy New Year!!!
Thank you so much for the kind words. I am in the middle of researching the social security question. I have heard that if Jen draws SSS from the Philippines then she will be disqualified from survivor benefits from USA SSA. That would be a huge difference for her. I will let everyone know what I find out. Thanks!
We are coming out to live in your area Lipa in November from the UK and find your youtube channel invaluable might even ask for your help finding a property to rent ....keep up the good work
Hi Stanley! I watch Gino and Dazel on Dazel TV you tube. He was born in the Philippines but grew up in the US and retired from the US Air Force. He retired and moved to the Philippines in 2011. He said that the pesos rate will decline near December, so he exchanges his US dollars and deposits the pesos into a bank. So he gets the good rate now and uses them later when the rate goes down. Thanks and take care!
@stanleyandjenlyncrum7582 my Filipina wife is flying to the Philippines in January. She's sending cash now to a relative because she believes the rates will drop in December also. She didn't see the episode where Gino explained the reason for the drop. She just knows that it happens every December. Gino's lived there since 2011 and his explanation was because the OFW, Filipinos who work overseas send us dollars home for Christmas and New Years and they also come home that month so the country gets flushed with US currency then. Makes since but we'll see! Take care!
@EvralTatum-Mcfield-ov2mi Love that couple! Me and Gino were actually stationed in the Philippines at the same time. He worked medical, and I was a cop si I never knew him. Also, he went to Bossier City, LA and I was there also after Clark! Again, different career fields never ran across each other. Take care!
I am planning of moving to the Philippines - is it really wise to deposit U.S. dollar now to a Philippine National bank? I am waiting for my passport approval right now. Thank you!👍❤️🌹
Just came across this video, very helpful and well presented so thank you for sharing. I decided I'd like to help you get to that 2K subscriber mark :) So I just subscribed and looking forward to watching more of your videos, take care !
You must gave a big house for a house payment of 500 plus dollars. I've seen you show houses there for I think 128 up to 200 dollars . If I. Not mistaken.
Hello brother, it's just a normal sized house. We will be completely paid off after a term of 46 months. Next year we will have no housing payment at all. Thanks for watching 🙂
Yes, I applied online while here. I applied in June and sent them an email about 5 weeks later to follow up. Then they emailed back with an appointment for a phone interview. A week later everything was approved and hopefully payments start November 3. Thanks for watching 🙂
@@arnolddavidson5245Hello brother, I don't have any contact information for any specific rentals. We are not involved in real estate but we look for open homes when our viewers request it. We have helped several settle here in the subdivision. Would you like us to look around for you?
I mean no disrespect to you are your lovely wife, but I was wondering what's the age difference? My apologies if I've overstepping the boundaries. Peace ✌
Always look forward to your budget videos. Hope all is well with you and Jen. God bless you.
Thanks as always Mark 🙂
Thank you, I just found you, I enjoyed viewing your videos.
You are welcome. We appreciate you dropping by 🙂

That is pretty smart business on his part. I hope he is wrong about the exchange rate, it has been up for quite a while. Thanks for watching 🙂

And they live in a monthly budget of less than $900 a month for everything in Camilia Atlan region, soo they have it good!!

@@stanleyandjenlyncrum7582 you're welcome and continued success to your channel 😎
* WOW * Just under $600 / mo. expenses - after your house payment - is incredible ! -- An amazing life for that amount of money - in my opinion.
I agree with you totally, thanks for watching our video 🙂

BTW I always heard it was the "Ber" month's in other Phil. cities
The ber months mean holiday season everywhere in the Philippines. Filipinos are festive people. Thanks for watching 🙂
So close to 2000! This week maybe?
Fingers are crossed 🙂 We appreciate you watching as always 🙂
Thx

Stanley, did you apply for social security while in the Philippines? Did you do it over the phone or did you contact the SSA office in Manila?
Yes, I applied online while here. I applied in June and sent them an email about 5 weeks later to follow up. Then they emailed back with an appointment for a phone interview. A week later everything was approved and hopefully payments start November 3. Thanks for watching 🙂
@@stanleyandjenlyncrum7582 thanks!! Great information and good to know that you do not have to go to Manila or fly back home.
Hi, where in Lipa is that gated community?
It is in Barangay Cumba, but the entrance road is in Barangay Sampaguita. You can find it by searching Plantacion Meridienne in Google Maps.🙂
Are you retired or former military? I notice your UMUC diploma on the wall. I know a lot of military go to that school while stationed overseas.
I graduated from the UMUC campus that was in Heidelberg, Germany. Yes, I am retired. We appreciate you watching 🙂
@@stanleyandjenlyncrum7582 Thank you for your service!
So you didn't get flooded out like Manila did in the last storm.
No, thank goodness. The elevation worked in our favor.
You are mentioning in your video an elevation of 1000 m? There is no place anywhere near Lipa at that elevation.
You are at about 300 m or about 1000ft elevation. Thanks for this nice video.
Low cost of living means low standard of living. No if's and buts.
Thanks for sharing, we appreciate you watching 🙂
Where do you suggest I stay first, while looking for a place to rent (possibly retire) in Lipa?
There are some really nice, affordable, Airbnb's here in Lipa. The app is available on Play Store. Let us know if you need help with anything 🙂
Could you be more specific i.e. address, name, who to contact, price per month, furnished, etc.?
I am a retired college professor.

Please do, if it isn't too much trouble. I would dearly appreciate it.

No worries at all. I am 62 and Jen is 51. Thanks for watching🙂
Certainly, good age bracket, no need to be with a partner with a 35-40 difference, nothing in common there!!@@stanleyandjenlyncrum7582
