    Dec 2021 interest rates turned up after dropping really low for a few months, so the central bank tricked everyone into buying, then started putting up interest rates and as rates went up house prices trended down. I hope we have 1 to 2 years of lower prices from now.

If the viewers and subscribers aren't high, then your channel will not be nominated for monetization. There are many videos on your channel, but not many viewers have seen them because they are very far in the search rankings. As a result, the audience doesn't find it. If your video is SEO optimized, it will be at the top of the search engine. So, viewers will see SEO in your video, and you will understand the difference.

      Exactly, we saw tremendous growth in house prices from 2020 to the peak in 2022. A normal healthy is growth is 2-4% annually, in Christchurch the growth was over 30% during these years. This is one reason why the house prices need to come down further to make it more affordable again.

      Thanks for the question. At this stage due to the over supply of housing stock and inflation still high we feel from mid 2024 to early 2025 will be a good time to buy. As always please do your own research. We'll release more videos on this topic when we feel the market is turning.
