Kept Brentford up pretty comfortably with an insane injury list and tiny squad with the 2nd smallest budget in the league and a 9th place finish last season, 1 point off Europe and did the double over treble winning man city. He took points from all of the top 6 and had wins over all of them bar arsenal. When he has his players fit he's one of the best managers in the league. Very tactically astute. People have very short memories. He also originally won promotion with the 2nd smallest championship budget too.
Look how celebrated Palace and Bournemouth are this season. Bournemouths record points total at this level, and neither have ever had a higher finish than Brentford. In the premier league.
There are many worse options than Thomas Frank for United. He has done wonderfully well at Brentford and when possible plays attractive attacking football with an at best average squad at his disposal. I'd certainly prefer him over ETH who imo has to go in the summer clear out.
Massimiliano Allegri is a good manager. Ten Haag is a good manager also.
