back in episode 75 bisky: "what's the first thing you'll do when meeting ging?" gon: "introduce him to killua, of course! he's my best friend in the world" it was the first . fucking . thing he wanted to do, and he couldn't
that left me scarred for life wth, honestly their relationship is portrayed so positively in fanon when it's just so nuanced and bittersweet in canon hahahahahahaa....
@@rexibhazoboa7097 Their relationship was no longer the same after everything that happened to them. They know this, that's why their expressions change when they turn around.
@@rexibhazoboa7097 Do you think Alluka can climb that freaking world tree? And Killua has promised to protect her forever do you think he would just tell her like waiting him under the tree while Illumi might have sent someone to ambush them already?
I'm Japanese, so I don't know what they're saying, but their reactions were very entertaining to watch. I'm sad that the Hunter x Hunter reaction videos are over.
It's never easy to say goodbye when these types of shows/series end. Hope we get HxH back in anime form once again, one day, in whatever shape or form.
Sad to see the "post-HxH-depression" slowly setting in on these poor girls. Some of us have been living with this disease for over 10 years, sadly there is no cure for it. :(
Girls, I agree with you wholeheartedly, 5 last minutes with the boys together weren't enough. However, this is exactly how Togashi wrote it in the manga, he didn't show their reunion scene or the scene where Killua tells Gon he's levaing with Alluka, and we believe it may have been intentional, that its omission will serve a greater purpose later in the story. Sadly, we're still waiting to see it :') but the hope of an eventual Killugon reunion keeps us going.
Never really thought it wasn't enough, I believe Killua would play it off cool when seeing gon as thats how their dynamic has always been. However I wish Gon's apology was delivered a bit more seriously, but there's a lot said between the lines
@@Shallabais100 Gon had surely apologized earlier though, when he and Killua first saw each other after he woke up. His "apology" that we see is just in response to Killua's passive-agressive joke, a reiteration that he's truly sorry, but I'm pretty sure they talked it over earlier.
I think the reason he didn't show it was to make it more private and because nothing he shows directly could do justice to the complex emotions both of them feel, so leaving a lot of it to our imagination and interpretation adds to the bittersweetness of it. I think the scene feeling unsatisfying is intentional because that reflects the boys' feelings too, they both wish they could spend more time with each other and say all that's left unsaid, but they can't. It also helps that we already know about their feelings towards each other especially if you notice all the subtext.
I believe the lack of closure and the little amount of time Togashi gives to their relationship at the end is completely intentional on his part. I think he's trying to convey how their relationship now has an awkward rift that wasn't there before. It's no longer pure like it once was, with new complications due to the events that transpired in the prior arc. They are still of course friends and always will be, but there's a strange aura around everything now, and they don't get the story book closure you would expect in other stories. Just like real life, your relationships with people are complicated, they're left untied and unfinished, there are awkward, dark scars that are never really addressed or at least are left unaddressed for a time. I believe all of this is perfectly captured through the writing at the end of their story. I do however hope they eventually reunite in the future, and we can address everything that went down. Although, Togashi is such a strange writer that I could also easily picture him never really fully delving into it.
An episode filled with controversial and bold choices, it's not everybody's cup of tea but I want to make the case for it. A bit of a long read but I think it's worth it. Let's start with Kite and the Koala. While some may think dedicating a large portion of the penultimate episode of the series to side characters discussing something that isn't related to the main story a waste of time, there's a few things to take into account here. First, even though this is the second to last episode in the Anime, it's just one of the last chapters of an arc in the Manga, it's not like Togashi was planning to write an ending for the story and chose to spend time on something minor in spite of that. Second, I believe the discussion between the two is extremely relevant to not only the story as a whole and the Chimera Ant arc in general, but even more specifically to the context of Gon's apology and his character arc. There is a reason why Togashi spent most of this chapter showing the Koala's perspective on things right before Gon enters. The Koala talks about repeating cycles and actions over and over, something that we see Gon do throughout the story; he wants something, he chases after it, he loses and is hurt, he trains to get stronger, etc. Gon has been repeating this cycle of "getting stronger" since the Hunter Exam, but it never filled the void inside of him. Kite tells the Koala that he can't run away and "hit the reset button", that he can't just atone on his own terms, he has to atone the way the person he wronged wants. Now ever since Gon saw Kite's zombie corpse, what did he want? To atone for what he believed to be his mistake. And he did it in the end by trying to run away from living and carrying this weight, he tried to "hit the reset button". Both Gon and the Koala realize here that they need to live on, no matter how uncomfortable that makes them feel. This is why Gon not dying and being brought back to full health is narratively justified, it's a greater punishment for him because he can't satisfy the narrative anymore. Next is Kite being reincarnated. Again I can see why some people don't like it because they think it takes away from Gon's character arc, however I think it's a fundamental misunderstanding of what Gon's conflict really was about. It wasn't about losing Kite as just a person he cared about, it was about losing Kite as an ideal. Gon viewed Kite as the ultimate perfect Hunter since he earned Ging's praise, in order to fulfill his worth he had to become like Kite. But Kite ended up losing and turning into a zombie, and Gon couldn't really come to terms with that because it would shatter the narrative, so he instead convinced himself that it only happened because of him, he had to protect the ideal Kite represented at all costs. Kite being reincarnated is in a sense a metaphor for Kite's "death" as an ideal and his rebirth as a "friend", as he tells Gon in this episode, they are *now* friends, implying they weren't really equals before, but now they are, and they both have more to learn, there is no shame in that, neither of them has to be perfect. This was the only way Gon could really move on and start to see himself as a person and not just comparing himself to Kite. You can even say that he was also reborn spiritually/mentally. And for those reasons I have to disagree with the notion that Gon's mental state was not addressed by the narrative, it just wasn't brought up directly because he should realistically take years to process all of this, but the subtext is all about Gon's growth and how things are going to be different from now on. Finally, regarding Gon and Killua. I understand that you wanted to see more of them, and I'm not going to pretend like showing their reunion and Gon's apology would have been bad by any means, I merely want to defend the choice of keeping that off-screen. Once again remember that this was not supposed to be their "last scene" together, it's not an ending to their relationship or characters, it's just a transition to a different phase. We already knew how both Gon and Killua felt, so I don't think we miss much by not seeing it happen directly, in fact I would argue that a typical dialogue scene wouldn't be enough to do their complicated feelings justice, so leaving it for us to imagine allows it to feel like their own private moment. At the end you can see from their expressions and the words they exchange just how much is left unsaid, they are still inexperienced boys who have to learn about themselves and who they want to be, as well as their personal boundaries and feelings towards each other, so for now it's supposed to be a scene that leaves you feeling unsatisfied because it is unsatisfying for the characters, it perfectly captures how it feels to part ways with someone you wish you had more time with but know that it's for the best to split up, it can only be described as a bittersweet moment.
if you watch early first episode, someone asks Gon "why do you want to be a hunter?" and gon replied " i want to meet ging and find out why he chose to be a hunter (besides becoming a father) after that i will come back" and in the mid series(in whale island). gon said to killua "you can follow me until you find what you want to do". and killua remember alluka/nanika and find it.
I agree so much, I wish they had included the scene where Gon apologizes to Killua and meets Alluka and let's not forget, Gon previously said that the FIRST THING he would do when he met Ging would be to introduce him to Killua, and that never happened. (I understand after reading a comment about it, it would not exactly be easy to bring Killua to Ging on the World Tree when he has to look after Alluka. And Killua wasn't even there when they met for the first time. It's sad, because Togashi still could have written a different scene where Gon introduces Killua to Ging. But after everything, it's not really the priority anymore.)
Sometimes departures are like that. A brief goodbye, a promise to meet again someday, and sometimes, those goodbyes keep going years until a Hello is back again. And time resumes, as i wasn't stopped that long day ago, when goodbye was pronounced.
This has become a nice after work ritual. Not infrequently you upload just as I’m getting home and I get to unwind with some of the most genuine reactions to one of my favorite shows. It’s sad it’s so close to being over
34:49 "This whole journey to Ging, to destination... everything that happened along the way was so much more important (...) It's about the journey, not destination". Wow... interesting things you say there, very interesting. And interesting how it will impact the perception of Ging.
By the way in the manga he went back to his hometown to Mito and going to school again... He is spending most of his time doing homework for all the time he was not studying
Though they give the credit to Gon in their imagined version, and not Ging explaining that thesis to Gon instead, but I guess that makes sense given the opinion they have of him.
Bro, the comedy in Gon's apologizing made, especially, Milena not noticed that in that simple moment was the moment that Gon was apologizing to Killua. And Killua is such a good friend that this was enough, just a "sorry... I'm really sorry!"
Killua saved his life twice, the first time when Pitou cuts Kite's arm and Gon wants to fight her, he would have died there. The second time when he went to look for him after Pitou's death, he took him to the hospital and did everything he could to heal him by looking for Alluka. He even stopped Gon from killing an innocent girl like Komugi, when he was overwhelmed with anger. Killua is everything that is right.
Killua's goal in life rn is to protect Alluka. Bringing Gon together would only put Gon in danger, since he doesn't have nen anymore. Unfortunetely, their departure was inevitable at this point... 😢
it is natural for best friends to part for some time and do their own growing up and development. It is not portrayed as a farewell in the manga. The anime made a big deal with all the flash backs because it is the ending for the anime. Togashi would never let them part for good. 😂 that defeat the purpose of his prominent theme : redemption.
I think Gon's apology to Killua wasn't shown because it wasn't the full apology. Gon isn't going to fully understand the consequences of his actions and what it did to Killua within a couple days of him waking up. They need time apart and time to reflect on their relationship before they can reunite and have a more healthy friendship. In the manga, we begin to see bits of Gon reflecting. I think it will be part of a larger arc whenever we fully return to him.
Lola, Milena thank you guys for deciding to react to this show, Watching this with you has been so exciting and your takes and opinions are always interesting to hear. i cant believe its almost over watching your uploads has been the highlight to my weeks unfortunately i couldnt afford the patreon. It's impossible not to get emotional and cry when you see the end with Gon and Killua saying goodbye, and on top of that they show you the whole journey.
Gon and Killua will have their full chapter when the manga ends. Like Meruem and Komugi, they died and if they were given the finale entirely about the two of them, Togashi continues writing their story.
Also I really like that one consequence of Gon's actions is that him and Killua's friendship isn't on the aame level anymore. They went from being in separable taking on the world together to "I'll email you from time to time".
To be fair, Killua said long ago that he was only going to stay with Gon until he figured out what he wanted to do with his life. He figured that out and that’s the main reason they go their separate ways. That was always going to happen
Th email from to time to time thing is just Killuas way of talking and playing it cool. He is very easily embarrassed. I wouldnt read too much into it. Killuas and Gons sad faces at the end are more important
La historia continúa chicas, el manga se trata por lo que veran en el ultimo capitulo y sobre todo por el personaje que no han visto hace tiempo. Besos las quiero mucho.
killua had to leave, gon was too risky and they were both still kids. he told gon last minute who healed him so that he wont find a way to thank him back. I do hope they see eachother again!!
Oooh boy here come the waterworks 💔 Idk why Togashi chose to leave out Gon and Killua's reunion (maybe we'll find out in the future) but what is clear to me is that Killua has fully forgiven Gon. I hope Gon apologized properly, but I can just imagine Killua's anger dissipating the moment he saw Gon on his feet again 'cause that's how much he loves him. Actually, I think there are many reasons why they needed some time apart but the the main one is that Killua wanted to protect Gon from Illumi, who may chase after Killua and Alluka in the future. Whether romantic or platonic (doesn't matter, maybe time will tell), theirs is one of my favorite love stories.
I really like how HxH gives the main characters their own path and agency instead of just following the main protagonist's goal. Killua definitely was in that role for a while, but I'm more happy for Killua having his own story now than just being a sidekick to Gon's story. Gon's story is pretty much over at the end of the anime, and everyone else's story is just beginning!
this is something the fandom get divided haha correct me if I'm wrong but Togashi did the storyboard for this last arc, he wanted to give us something if we never got a proper ending with the manga :/ and i think the whole goodbye with Gon & Killua was a "for the moment" kinda thing, I really really have faith in Togashi writing style, and the boys felt so odd in their last moment, i want to believe what happened between them is still not fixed... Because Alluka was there, because Gon doesn't have Nen, many things affected this last goodbye (Killua can't protect both Gon and alluka if something with his brother happen for example) I specially want to hear Gon thought about everything that happen, now he's in whale island... I wonder what else togashi has for him...
Yes I believe they are best friends for life, and this is just a temporary separation. I am optimistic about their growth and I believe in Togashi positive writing style.
The mistake is thinking this as the end of the story. For Togashi this was just the end of another arc of many more that will come, so gon and killua's reunion shouldn't necesserly be seen in this chapter of the manga and koalas speech makes more sense.
Ging adressed Gon's suicidal thoughts when they met during the election in the previous episode. Gon said "I should've been the one who died" and Ging stopped him and explained that it was also Kite's fault and that the best way to solve everything was apologizing and promising to do things differently next time, the literal opposite to Gon's original comment about dying in his place. It was a little quick, but it wasn't completely ignored. Ging did try to change his mindset. And Gon really felt he needed to apologize to Killua, it wasn't a random thing he said without an actual intention. He literally said to Leorio "I must apologize to Killua. I got confused and said terrible things to him".
Killua's relationship with Alluka wasn't improved by merely being with Gon and learning how to be a better relative. Think back to the Chimera arc when he had to protect Gon while he was afflicted with the Bankruptcy zetsu. By protecting Gon he had to face his greatest impediment, his brother's needle controlling how he was thinking. If that needle was still there he wouldn't have remembered about Alluka yet.
Alluka was kind of a copout to him writing himself into a corner with Gon's contract, with the needle as a convenient excuse to him ignoring an additional, never mentioned sibling.
@trafalgarlaw8373 you see that they have another sibling in chapter 229, way before Alluka's introduction btw. But I partially agree, it seems like a cope out for Gon's situation. It's used to introduce us to Dark Continent stuff too so why not.
@trafalgarlaw8373 tell me you're only a 2011 verson watcher without telling me that you are. Typical ! Alluka was shown as far back as the zoldyck familly arc after the hunters exam. Aint no cop out in togashi's writing.
Considering that Kurapika doesn't even meet up with Gon, Killua and Leorio, I don't think it's a bad idea for the boys to say goodbye in just 5 minutes. Nobody expected it to be 10 years since Togashi suspended the manga.💔
The continuation of this story is currently being drawn by the newly restarted Togashi as the Dark Continent arc. It will take some time before it becomes an anime, but please look forward to it.
Yeah Togashi is not sentimental on goodbyes either. I love it. Realistic to me. If it's too much to bear me and my best friends just say a casual goodbye like we would see each other tomorrow. People who love each other this much are never apart even when they are physically apart. Gon and Killua are for eternity. I'm not worried.
I know that they're bound to meet again for obvious reasons (they didn't show their reunion after Gon gets healed, implying it was not the meaningful thing that it's supposed to be, 'cause they'll figure out most of it later in the story. Plus, the separation being even briefer in the manga, their faces implying they are not done with all the talk and emotions) but it still KILLS me every time. Like, they're clearly NOT well and satisfied with all this, but they know they have to spend some time apart. It's like Killua said, HE has to make the decision to hang out again when they're ready and rested
Maybe what you guys are just missing about "not showing the reunion of gon and killua" is how the friendship between boys works. We just comeback to each other as if nothing happened. Basically the same lesson Kite just though, "doesn't matter where we are we'll always be friends". And for Gon kite was more then a friend he was basically a temporary father. A good example of this is how much I always tear with this episode although if I'm watching with a friend the emotions are not the same, we are not used to share emotions since babies 😅(unfortunately), so we don't even have to try not to share it, it just naturally happens this way. (I don't know just guessing, just I'm maybe finding an excuse because I think HxH is perfection
If there was a long anime of more than 100 chapters that you should see, it is this one. HXH is a masterpiece, I am glad that they say that they are not going to see another anime that long. It gives it much more value. DON'T LET IT END!!!
As sad is it as that five minutes was what we got, also remember that this technically isn't the end of the story so the parting wasn't meant to be forever, it's more of a see you later. It's just unfortunate Togashi's health is what it is
it is a bit rushed but tbh togashi took over 8 years writing the chimera ant arc w a ton of hiatuses so i can imagine him wanting to move on from those plot points and get to the next big arc :p
I hope many people catch on the idea that despite this being presented as happy resolution, Gon and Killua actually haven't truly made up. The apology was off screened and the separation were just as abrupt in the manga. They never got to talk properly. They were thanking each other like they're strangers (friends dont thank each other for little things) and Gon promised to introduced Killua to Ging but they never did that. Its been more than a decade since we last saw the two and some people wants to insist Gon and Killua story is done, acting like they dont need to appear again. It's possible due to the long hiatuses (it's been 14 years since this part of the manga was released and since we've last seen them) that we can never truly get that satisfaction. The anime wanted to end their friendship on a positive note because of this.
I think the reason he skipped the reintroduction is because he wanted their last moments to be like old times and not overridden by the apologies and emotions. This way their goodbye also feels more natural than if Killua had to embrace his sister and cry, then Gon and Killua were reintroduced emotionally and cry just to leave each other immediately after. Like if Killua was crying and hugging Gon when he was healed it'd feel weird for him to immediately be nonchalant about saying goodbye (or "see you later") imo That's just me spitballing though because I've wished Gon had a big (serious) apology in that last bit before leaving, but I've never felt their seeing each other again was needed
The noun "nani" in "Nanika" means "what" in English (like when characters say "Nani!?"). By adding "ka" to the end it means "something". I always enjoy watching your reactions. Thank you!
The VA work on the episode was done a few weeks before it aired. I remember that at the time the Japanese VA for Gon, after recording, said she felt like this was the actual ending of the show.
I think gon puts killua on deep value, but a lot of times he placed his search for his father a little above from everything else... even above from Killua!
And we're right back to crying right along next to you LOL "You're gonna see each other next episode" yeah damn, these last episodes hurt so bad, especially with the clip show of gon and killua's moments throughout the series
I love hxh and i admit in anime i usually never cry even in this episode somehow i didn't really felt the emotion maybe I'm just cold or idk maybe because it's an anime i guess, coz i always cry in the hachiku movie ir any like real2 sad movies so obviously i can say I'm not like those characters who are cold hearted I'm still a normal guy who'll cry when I'm sad but to this anime i never cry but i really really love it❤
The part when Gon and Killua are looking at each other and both realize if they don't keave now then they'll just fall back into the same thing. Shit hits because in life you meet people who for whatever reason you shouldn't be together even though you have amazing chemistry with that person.
wait what ? that's not the point. It is just they both grow and have to go in different paths. it doesn't mean that they are acknowledging their toxic relationship and saying "we shouldn't stay with each other"
@@wwe12153 yeah i thought it was more of a "if we stay here any longer..saying goodbye is going to be even harder". Like it will be impossible to leave eachother's side if they keep delaying the inevitable goodbye. That's how I read it anyway haha
@@kura-pika yeah that’s how I read it too. Gon and Killua’s friendship flaws is a key to this departing but it doesn’t mean that they think “we should leave each other because it isn’t a healthy relationship”.
It's a valid interpretation but i don't think this is the case at all lol, not at all what Togashi was trying to say imo. Not that we can confirm for sure since the manga's on hiatus
There can't be a farewell as if it were the end, think that the story continues. HxH doesn't end, it would be very unreal if they met again as if this were the official end. The entire arc of the trip to the dark continent is missing, Kurapika's battle with the calamities and the princes, Leorio is not even a doctor at this point in the anime, I know it hurts but that's the reality, this is a farewell halfway through the story, only Gon and Killua took different paths.
Their friendship was so sweet and pure, but it had to end here for their own benefit. This was the only realistic choice for their relationship otherwise it would have become toxic.
21:56-22:08 , 24:39-24:48 , 27:12-27:53 , 27:56-30:03 👏👏👏👏 Gon's reunion and apology to Killua being off-screened, and his reflections on everything that happened in the Chimera Ant arc not being explored at all before concluding his story, are the only objective flaws i have with HunterxHunter.
I also disagree that Gon's reflections are not shown at all, they are just more indirect but his conversations with Ging and Kite are all follow ups on that, especially when you look at the Koala as a foil/parallel to Gon.
@@angrashadow2958 Completely and utterly disagree, Togashi is a competent enough writer to be able to do justice to Gon’s reunion and apology to Killua. Some things are so important that they need to be shown, off-screening extremely important character moments and over-relying on subtext is just not great storytelling, and frankly comes off as lazy. Especially when it was built-up at the beginning of the arc with killua declaring that he wants Gon to apologize this time. As for Gon’s reflections, nothing about it is remotely substantial enough given the weight of everything that happened with him in the CA arc. It doesn’t even qualify as surface level exploration.
I never felt need to see their reunion especially when we have that touching scene with them separating from each other. We know Gon regret about his behavior and we know Killua would forgive him
@@kenanOW who told you that? Succession War won’t be finished soon. It’s a long ride. And it’s clearly as a day if you actually read manga. And after that Dark Continent arc will start. And neither Gon and Killua are setup to be there. Only delusional people believe that
I would love to watch you both react to One Piece, if not the original then the remake since they will remove filler episodes. You will both have so many characters to fall in love with and probably adopt too 😅
I'm honestly surprised that there's no mention of Pariston and the appointment of the new Hunter Association president Cheadle!!! Such an important event didn't receive any comment in any of the long discussions before and after the episodes.. This is something that really frustrated me since Pariston is one of my favorite characters
If you can watch this many episodes than you can take on Naruto if you leave out the fillers. It’s really emotional and relatable. I think you would love it.😊😊
Poor Kill 😢😢😢😢😢 He carried all the burdens the entire time. Sometimes, the MC is not the one the creators and the viewers think he/she is !!!! It was Killua the entire time ❤❤❤❤
There are several reasons for this farewell. The first and most important is the fact that Killua is now 100% dedicated to Alluka because he knows the danger she is in, and he also knows that he will put Gon in danger, because the cost of that "evolution" of Gon was the "loss" of NEN, but it is a small spoiler that is not blatant, but according to what the manga says, Gon does not lose 100% of Nen, apparently there is a chance that he will be able to use it again, freeing the pores/channels, something like that... A technique that takes time. Last but not least, Killua sees that the situation between them in the previous episodes was starting to get damaged in some way, because he will be very impulsive, despite being strong and a prodigy, he is not very intelligent, he is literally a child in the growth phase. Just like Killua, but Killua went through situations that were imposed by the family to be treated like a trained animal and an adult, with a lot of responsibility. So much so that the first time Killua felt this feeling of friendship/love for his companions makes him the strongest Link, because he is extremely cautious and guardian, he values this very much for what he lives today, after all he knows that it is not easy to be his friend due to the prejudices he has of him. But Gon is a pure child who is now losing some of his purity due to his development and the cruel experiences that are being imposed on him. The expression of the two when they say goodbye shows this, one is motivated and determined, looking up with his goals, without any remorse... And the other has a downcast, helpless, melancholic look, looking down thinking about how gray his days will be without the most enlightened being he has ever known, even with all the problems, he knows how much he will miss him.
The gon & killua goodbye always kills me

However I wish Gon's apology was delivered a bit more seriously, but there's a lot said between the lines
it makes sense that he doesn't show a reunion scene because there is a departing scene.
@@Shallabais100 Gon had surely apologized earlier though, when he and Killua first saw each other after he woke up. His "apology" that we see is just in response to Killua's passive-agressive joke, a reiteration that he's truly sorry, but I'm pretty sure they talked it over earlier.
@@m.s2912 if that is the case then I agree it is weird to not include it
I think the reason he didn't show it was to make it more private and because nothing he shows directly could do justice to the complex emotions both of them feel, so leaving a lot of it to our imagination and interpretation adds to the bittersweetness of it.

At the end you can see from their expressions and the words they exchange just how much is left unsaid, they are still inexperienced boys who have to learn about themselves and who they want to be, as well as their personal boundaries and feelings towards each other, so for now it's supposed to be a scene that leaves you feeling unsatisfied because it is unsatisfying for the characters, it perfectly captures how it feels to part ways with someone you wish you had more time with but know that it's for the best to split up, it can only be described as a bittersweet moment.
chill

if you watch early first episode, someone asks Gon "why do you want to be a hunter?" and gon replied " i want to meet ging and find out why he chose to be a hunter (besides becoming a father) after that i will come back"
and in the mid series(in whale island). gon said to killua "you can follow me until you find what you want to do". and killua remember alluka/nanika and find it.
The koala part is so underrated
yeah it was sooo deep. I really love that togashi includes such complex spiritual aspects.
Kite has the defiant attitude of his brother Meruem, his attitude with the Chimera Ants is that of a superior.
Hunter x Hunter is such a journey, loved every single bit of it
I agree so much, I wish they had included the scene where Gon apologizes to Killua and meets Alluka and let's not forget, Gon previously said that the FIRST THING he would do when he met Ging would be to introduce him to Killua, and that never happened.

My favourite character in Hunter x Hunter will always be Gon & Killua’s friendship 💚🤍 (yes it counts)
Definitely.
Their friendship is an organism of its own. It's alchemy.
Truly astounding. Spellbinding. ❤
Bro, the comedy in Gon's apologizing made, especially, Milena not noticed that in that simple moment was the moment that Gon was apologizing to Killua. And Killua is such a good friend that this was enough, just a "sorry... I'm really sorry!"
Lola and Milena's crying at the end makes this scene even more heartbreaking 😭🤧
Killua was always the soul of this friendship, Gon is much more like Ging than everyone thinks.
Such a good observation. Never looked at it like this before, but you're right!
You don't understand shit.
Killua left Gon when he finds sth more important to him than Gon, Killua is also much more like Ging than everyone thinks
How did this comment get upvoted, being this wrong.

I so agree

Also friend don't say thanks to each other, but here they did
@@passarovoador6662 Damn good catch
Th email from to time to time thing is just Killuas way of talking and playing it cool. He is very easily embarrassed. I wouldnt read too much into it. Killuas and Gons sad faces at the end are more important
Killua seems fully satisfied with Gon's apology. I therefore see no reason not to be myself.
Gon's phrase: "If this drags on it will become more difficult", I suppose it refers to farewell, It is togashi speaking to the viewer
Oooh boy here come the waterworks 💔
Idk why Togashi chose to leave out Gon and Killua's reunion (maybe we'll find out in the future) but what is clear to me is that Killua has fully forgiven Gon.
❤❤❤
Don't make it weird 😂
35:05 she figured it out before the show itself even say it
I still cry about this, they had no right to show that montage at the end 😭
Finally get to see the new imo more terrifying kite😭 1 episode of the boys left. Please consider the Manga for our Sake😂

Long and tearful goodbyes just arent my style. After all, it would be embarrassing when we meet again.
They go their separate ways with those expressions and all the things unsaid I die everytime T-T
I have never seen someone cry so hard for these characters 💙 I love it and your reaction to this show has been such a wonderful journey.
(I don't know just guessing, just I'm maybe finding an excuse because I think HxH is perfection
killua and gons goodbye still hurt dude... i cant believe theres only 1 episode left it feels like watching it for the first time again :((
If there was a long anime of more than 100 chapters that you should see, it is this one.
Like if Killua was crying and hugging Gon when he was healed it'd feel weird for him to immediately be nonchalant about saying goodbye (or "see you later") imo
That's just me spitballing though because I've wished Gon had a big (serious) apology in that last bit before leaving, but I've never felt their seeing each other again was needed
The noun "nani" in "Nanika" means "what" in English (like when characters say "Nani!?").
By adding "ka" to the end it means "something".

Bro, this is not Nana.

Gon's reunion and apology to Killua being off-screened, and his reflections on everything that happened in the Chimera Ant arc not being explored at all before concluding his story, are the only objective flaws i have with HunterxHunter.

I think you would love it.😊😊
What a good day. new volume 38 published and new episode uploaded...
Poor Kill 😢😢😢😢😢
He carried all the burdens the entire time.
Sometimes, the MC is not the one the creators and the viewers think he/she is !!!!
It was Killua the entire time ❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤ I cried as much as u did both 🥹😅😅 love Killua ❤ 😅
Definitivamente ha sido un tremendo viaje ver estas reacciones, ver el cariño que le agarraron a los 4 y el odio a ging fue por mucho lo mejor
It’s fine. They will meet each other again bc they will always be friends. :)
