I’ve used them at times purely for aesthetic purposes, since they do have some situational advantages in real life over trams, diesel buses, and battery-powered buses. Primarily, I’ll use them if my main city is using trams (my personal favourite) and I want to create a suburb or exurb with its separate transit system to give it a more unique identity. I inevitably use workshop assets, such as the Swiss trolley by REV0, since they have higher capacity than the default.
I have the deluxe edition so got Mass Transit with the game (ofc) and I bought After-dark for the bicycle lanes, Snowfall for the trams and Green cities for all it gives - I have a special neighborhood/district that is all green and I love it

I see why you put natural disaster in f but to me I really like it because when a disaster hits you you can recover your city and that’s why it’s fun for me

I was always interesdet in making cofortable and convinient infrastructure in city itself, not in it's parts. First of all it's about public transport. Making you own buildings and areas is not my plate, so I would avoid Industries and campus. Well, I guess park life is exception, I would take it.

I totally agree with you about industry and natural disasters. The former is essential for balance, the latter is just a distraction in between because it is counterproductive for the development of a functioning city. In terms of features about After Dark I also agree , but I would never want to do without the day/night cycle (immersion), which is why I would rate it as S (how super important, this is of course a personal classification). Mass Transit is probably also S for console players, for Pc I would also say B. Plazas and Promenades I find exciting because it offers opportunities to create traffic-free, highly commercial zones. With all the other DLCs, it's really a question of taste. Each one has a perfectly useful function or extends an existing one. Parklife, for example, can easily be played without it, but I got it anyway because I love Funfair. From Green Cities, I only use the energy and sewage plants, which wouldn't be necessary with mods, similar to Sunset Harbor. Airports only expands the base game and Industries a little, similar to Campus (which I personally don't like at all) with the free Matchday DLC. These expansions are ultimately on the same level, you should buy what you like. By the way, if you want to play with money you should get the Financial Districts DLC. For those who see this as immersion, probably also S ranking. I hope this helps too ;)

it's the same for me, i always was very interested in natural disasters in real life for some reason lol also i love being chaotic in this game and using loads of disasters, because i have this chaotic energy from the sims of killing and torturing my sims sometimes i wonder if i'm a psycopath or not...

@@JakeGemzen the costs of running pedestrian-only areas make them the counters to the money-making potential of the other special zones. There are also some gamey quirks with collection points that permit odd things to happen. I think the content packs were the better value, this time around.
M just happy with delux buy but now that m struggling with all industry trafic and low profits i kinda need industry dlc 😭 Fuck they can't even update kpop dlc, i would love better songs but they added just some random edm and not all k-pop
Mass transit added metro I believe. I couldn't imagine building a city without metros or trams, hence I would rate those higher. Campus is overrated and not well done. Pretty though. Agree industries adds the most.
Metro is not a mass transit expansion, it was a part of the base game. It added a ton of hubs which is nice. I enjoy campus a lot but I can see why it could be overrated. Industries is awesome!

The Nightlife DLC was free and it came with the base game at least on Xbox I got on PC but I didn't play a lot on PC yet
