Dan always holds back when he’s a guest on someone else’s channel. Violet is his guest on KISS From a Rose and he’s the Dan we know and love. They do a great a job on that one as well. He lets her shine on that one too.

Agreed, it is exceptional, and I think even Violet shines more in that collaboration. This was lovely to watch though! I hope he brings Dilana back for Kiss.
GNR was and still is one of my most beloved and favorite bands and I’m now lol. I appreciate your reaction and think you have some valid points. I in the meantime went down the rabbit hole in December and I’m such a huge fan and admirer of Dan’s my family and friends sometimes question my sanity. I’m also new to Violet and I think she is quite captivating with a gorgeous voice. I think all in all this was a good collab, even better was A Kiss From a Rose. Thanks for your reaction and having a big screen to watch and not a tiny microscopic one. 🙏🏻😊
How cool you worked with Guns and Roses! That is FIRE! HAIL to the warriors of sound brought through the power of metal! I have loved and prayed for them for years. They are awesome! I agree with your comments, and get what you’re saying. Violet and Dan did a great job on this, and Dan does hit a high point in the song, but it is more of a chill rendition. I do still love it, and would LOVE for this to be on the radio, since there is a lot of hooey on there nowadays!!! I have really missed having great music, (most modern stuff to me sounds like a derailed train), but I believe it is coming back even better….finally!!! DAN VASC is the perfect example of this! When Axl sings Patience, it definitely comes through with more drive, force, and grit…kinda like he DOESN’T have patience, lol! 😂 I think also that once you have heard Dan’s most recent songs and know what he can do now, it is SO easy to imagine how he would really amp this up, and let it fly! Thank you for this wonderful video, brother!!! Have the most outrageously, joy-filled day!
Love Dan and Violet. I agree they could've done a bit more with this one, though it's still a god cover. Dan also did a solo cover of Sweet Child O Mine. It's also a bit older (6 yrs ago), but you might enjoy it. He does pay tribute to Guns N' Roses in it.

I think Dan is a little more subdued because it was Violet’s cover with him as guest. Not good for the guest to run away and go Rogue! Lol I really love her voice, it’s Smoky!❤
This tribute is awesome, first thing i notice is the deep, coloring pattern in the sound. Great sound and good preformance. but as u say Joel, i also miss the Axl rasp. Never heard anything about Violet before, i´ve to check her up. great vocolist. Keep em Rolling 🤘

I happen to agree with your assessment. Not my favorite from Dan, or even Violet. It's good for what it is, but it doesn't hit those "ooh!" feels. Much prefer the original to this one. With that said, it seems to me that when Dan is guesting on other peoples' covers, his voice is frequently more subdued. Whether that is from him actually singing that way, or the artist he is performing with muting him somewhat, I honestly do not know for sure. One artist that does not do that, at least that I noticed, is Skar from Skar Productions. When he and Dan did a couple of covers, it sounded like the full sound coming from both of them.
Not really a Gun 'n Roses fan. But I really do love Patience (plus Used to Love Her). Simply because it's simplistic in nature. These two vocalists was performing the song. Not singing to you. Was too many instruments. A vocal choir. Way to much. This cover is definitely a pass from me. Didn't like it.
