Your videos are great and there's a lot I do to my little 4Runner, but after watching this one, it'll be going to the shop to have this job done - no way I'm going to try that on my own - for one thing, I don't have nearly enough tools! Thanks!

Such a great video! I'm sure you've helped many do it themselves. Thank for making it.

1998 4runner. I got a misfire in cylinder one. When I got home and read the code p0301. I ordered new spark plugs. Wires and coil packs. I noticed my radiator and reservoir were completely empty. What should I do.

Timing belt is slipping why? Lines are lined up but keep slipping

So to be clear you had to access the timing belt tensioner bolt from bellow the vehicle with an extender and a universal socket right? I think I saw something like that done in another video to avoid removing the AC compressor.

So much work just to get the water pump. Might as well replace the belts and seals so you don't need to disassembly it again too soon.

Yeah in the factory manual it recommends replacing the crank and cam seals while you are in there and the OEM kits that people put together usually include seals, pulleys, water pump, and timing and accessory belts. Seems like the Aisin OEM kit is the one people say good things about and it's about 275$ on eBay or Amazon.

2)when the cams where align with the V things if one of the cams moves clockwise iturn then “COUNTERCLOCKWISE”
So i messed up Big time!!now engine is not starting, wat should i do?

    Is this a clearance engine?

It's a NON-interference engine. Belt breaks but doesn't ruin your engine.
