Only point with the doors opening so far is in very windy conditions, is that if not held a strong gust of wind will propel it in great force possibly buckle a bit at the hinges area. When doors open the normal ¾s-ish, the door is more stronger against damage. It's all a matter of physics. Just be careful with said weather.

James, you state that e-power is "unique on the market" and then fail to say what that uniqueness is!!!
It's way they have done their's ie ICE charges bty that powers the electric motor that drives the wheels. Simples. You always drive in the electric motor, no gear meshing gubbins. The other way is very complicated but we will see how it pans out. I get mine next week & will be testing it out fully & will give you the straight truth.
The worst car I ever purchased. I’ve had it three months and can’t wait to get rid of it. The tech is of a poor standard, and so many other issues. Trust me don’t buy this crap car

the epower is total shite mines lost 10k in 8 months dont buy one how an engine uses so much fuel to charge va battery is beyond me please do not buy one its just cost me 5k to get rid of mine
And yet some reviewers praise the consumption one of which regularly gets over 60mpg, perhaps it was the way you drove it.
