Great overview! I’d consider the N-Design trim as the sister to the Tekna, given they're priced the same. Although the presenter didn’t mention it, you’ve shown an image of the remote climate control feature, which is currently only available on full EV models. I love this car and the color!
I have asked the dealer. They say climate control cannot be turned on from the app. The app interface shown is for a pure EV. So I would say is mileading.
e-power tech has been around for a while now, 8 years in fact. I own a Note e-power, brilliant car again not available outside of Japan. Euro and US definitely missed out on some great cars from Nissan and the junk the yanks get is a joke.
I don't think that a full hybrid system like this is a great buy... Why? Well, 2 reasons actually. 1. The CO2 emissions are terrible, almost on pair with pure petrol power cars, no major difference really. 2. Full hybrid solution is so much more expensive compared to turbo petrol that it simply makes no sense to choose a full hybrid over a turbo petrol engine.
I have a e-Power Qashqai & love it. Beautifully designed & built in Sunderland, well done guys. Driving it is amazing, acceleration is very fast. I only use it on Eco & get 42mph in town, yet to do a long drive. Over half of cars only have street parking, so this is a stop gap till that gets solved, it will wow reluctant petrol heads to realise that EV driving is much better than thought, cue full EV. So we'll done Nissan.
well done Nissan, but way too expensive. It's still a small car and the price is exaggerated. Same with Toyota full hybrid, same with Renault full hybrid, they are all too expensive. Spending 30-40k for such a small vehicle is ridiculous. Qashqai was once upon a time best seller because of the attractive price. The price was same as Golf but Qashqai had more space and elevated driving position... Now... Now sales figures speak for themselves.
Eagre to insult everyone's intelligence with click bait ay? The fact that in Japan Nissan sold the Note with ePower since 2016 and still neglects to offer outside of Japan the ePower drivetrain in a sensible hatchback but instead in a few select premium crossover-SUVs should speak volumes. Excluding the Mitsubishi Outlander the ePower is not in PHEV form (or even retrofitted into the LEAF). 👎 Everyone, e-Power is good n all when it comes to acceleration and refinedness, and it was totally possible for Nissan back in the 2000s but Ghosn didn't bother. Given the series hybrid nature, they are to be honest the least efficient way to burn fuel at sustained motorway speeds.
Have a test drive. I have one, love it & it's halfway stage till full EV becomes accessible for people to charge on street. Your line doesn't help people, this will wow reluctant petrol heads & then onto a full EV car. It's an important step that all manufacturers realise is problematic with fully charging cars just not charging at home. Charging stations are growing but still at early stage. It's easy to say what you say without addressing the huge infrastructure that has hardly begun.
Who needs a hybrid?

I own its brother, Nissan Kicks e-Power and loving it!
Why oh why do they always review the top spec cars 🤦🏻 why not just show the acenta premium hybrid fcs
If this had a 15-20kw battery with plug in capability, it would be the perfect running gear for most people
With full tank can goes only 260 miles?🧐
This bored me to tears in the 1st 10 secs.
All these Nissans getting complete looks yet Murano looks the same as over a dozen years ago….what’s up Nissan?

I have one, you shock horror press a button or turn a knob. It's much easier than faffing around on a screen.

Can’t buy e-Power vehicles in North America for some reason….what’s up Nissan?
North America doesn't have such strict ecological restrictions like in Europe
Scratchy Plastics Good grief! We've always had plastics in cars after the 60s. What would you have then, wood, metal, kryptonite maybe.

Just another poluting fossil fuel powered car 👎😡
