I was playing around with hybrid DoT/Break builds pretty much since release. I still have break Sampo as my go to wind DPS. I had full break fire MC before Gallagher released. I joined the cult of Welt Sustain just before Acheron released, and he wants a good amount of BE. I think I even had a decent BE on first iterations of my Kafka. Now, with HMC, Boothill and Firefly I'm living a dream, with a break team for every single element. Feels great that break gets so much attention now

Honestly, Himeko is a major reason I skipped Firefly. If Himeko still gets the job done I don't really need her. And I have Topaz for single target, and she makes an impressive superbreak unit too.
Personally i would just skip the break team as a whole, FF is my first time ever playing break. Just feels like I have characters I have more fun with unfortunately because her ult is awesome

I recently talked about this on my Discord server lol. It was just so ironic. Take Bronya outside of the 5* standards and you get Himeko as legitimately the strongest 5* standard.

I didn't even use this set, I used the fol-up set 😂 This patch is crazy tho, so long as you slap BE rope on Himeko (Doesn't matter which set) and put her with the Break Trio, she is set. I finished the second half of the MoC with this exact set up.
My Himeko is a hybrid crit and break for long while now on her standard build (Duke+Salsotto) coz most of my rolls goes to break lol so why not. And before getting Firefly, been using her in my HMC team and she's just so freaking good. So happy my first 5* and first love unit in HSR still relevant ❤

Will you do a vid on Jade soon? I need some help deciding whether I should pull Jade instead of Firely. I have multiple accounts and one already has E2 Firely. So variety would be great. But I don't want to skip Firely and then have a hard time with content like clearing MoC 12 or something like that as a result. Will Jade be powerful by herself, maybe with E1? Will Blade or someone push her into top tier outside PF? I rely on your vid a lot on pull decisions. Thank you so much for that!
Jade is unfortunately not that great even as a sub-damage dealer. She is just made for PF. If you can get her E1 then yes, she will be a lot better but I think Firefly has more value. Problem with Firefly though is that she isn't as good in certain modes.
Staggering the breaks to squeeze out Himeko's FUA is awesome! Is there any reason to run Himeko with this comp instead of Firefly? Or just run Himeko with standard crit dps setup?

@NewMega252 sustainless with Ruan Mei and HMC. It does require either E1 Firefly OR RM LC to function I'll admit. But Bronya's LC is a decent substitute. You equip it in HMC since he's the one that's going to get his ultimate more.
Yeah, I was doing PF, trying out Firefly, but getting really annoyed because my team was just not doing it I replaced Gallagher with Super Break Himeko and I watched the world explode, I was so blown out of the water, I thought I’d cooked and I did The only issue…the first side was NOT the side I had my problems on
rec : RM + FF + HMC + Himeko = Best PF Sweep Team FF ult form skill Gives Fire weakness and also breaks any toughness. and RM increases Break eff so they either get broken by like 1-2 skills. AND HMC gives you Super Break. FF can be like main dps and Himeko would act as a FUA and Ult spammer

A question, since there is alot of relics getting added, is the relics here better than the old fire relic set, im also trying to build himeko the same as this and i cant really decide.
In general, the fire set sucks, so you either use the FUA set (the duke one that is paired with the DoT set) if it is a general use Himeko or use 4 bandit/4 iron cavalry/ 2 pieces of bandit + 2 pieces of either cavalry or watchmaker if it's break you care the most
hey Lisara any plans on making apocalyptic shadow content? I beat Argenti easily but struggle a lot against Cocolia in that mode 😭 it would be nice seeing how you'd deal with her anyway great content as always, when I get Himeko I'll use that team
Ohhh, I finally have uses for those crit relics I got from farming for Firefly 😂 since I got E2 FF, I always bring Himeko to help with the damage as sub dps (I don't have RM, so my team is just FF - TB - Himeko - Gal)

I've finally pulled my first Himeko and I've been meaning to play her in a build/team like this... but it's taking so f&*king long to farm a single acceptable piece, I've no idea how you managed to get 2 great full sets in 1 week
One thing I learned when farming for a character. If you farm for stats you desire, you only get the opposite of what you want. 😂 get Firefly and farm for her and you get god pieces for Himeko 😎

LMAO Have a few questions, if you don't mind: - how does this build fair when not having Harmony TB? - If you compare this to a 4pc Duke with similar subs, does the Cavalry's Def shred still win out over the ATK% and FUA damage? - Is the Kalpagni a must-have for the extra break effect? or would keeping her on Sigonia for Pure Fiction still be synergistic with 4pc Cavalry? - would this build be okay to run at all in PF? or does Duke's consistency still win out? I wish I pulled for JY Lightcone. Every erudition character is fighting for a copy wtf D:
1. The build would totally suck w/o HTB, after all, Himeko has no natural way to inflict super break damage. 2. Standard CRIT is still stronger for Himeko when considering the possibility of no sustain setup. The biggest advantage of Himeko being in this team is being with Gallagher. 3. Kalpagni isn't a must have. Salsotto should still work but change the rope to BE main stat. 4. Grand Duke should still be better in PF. The only way I can see Cavalry work in PF is if she is with another character that would keep breaking enemies for her.

If anything, this is a testament to how you take advantage of MOC buffs, meta conditions, and available resources to push characters to their limits. I'll keep an eye out for other crit pieces while I continue to farm for boothill, but I guess that means I'll mostly keep himeko on duke for now. I sadly don't have firefly yet and I'm still on the fence of pulling her (not a question of if I can. It's if I want to. If you have insight, I'd be really thankful!) so this alternative break build for her is very alluring to me just to give purpose to all the double crit relics the cavern has been giving me LOL. Might try this on my Himeko for my second break team, but RM and Gallagher are on my first team w/Boothill. I'm thinking Himeko/HMC/Pela/Gallagher as the comp, while I put HuoHuo on the first team or something.

Good! I found a lot of double crit pieces, and I was annoyed (specially when a piece with SPD,DMG and Break turned out 4 spd 12 dmg 12 Rate and 0 rolls in Break😡). Then I realised that Boothill and my queen Himeko can use it
I really wanted to test it but I only got 1 Charmony Fall after trying to get Jade's LC. I do think it will do better since it will also help Himeko be consistent with Cavalry outside of the current MOC's turbulence. The 250% BE requirement is pretty high.

My previous Himeko video was on pure CRIT build and I had an extra ULT while the enemy is already dead. Problem was that the team was sustainless. The biggest advantage of this team I'd say is having Gallagher, a sustain.

Standard CRIT build for Himeko using Duke+Salsotto is still very strong so it doesn't matter which you use. Of course as long as HTB is in their team.

It should be because w/o the MOC turbulence, it is hard to reach 250% break to maximize the effect of 4pc Cavalry.

I wish I pulled for JY Lightcone. Every erudition character is fighting for a copy wtf D:
1. The build would totally suck w/o HTB, after all, Himeko has no natural way to inflict super break damage.
2. Standard CRIT is still stronger for Himeko when considering the possibility of no sustain setup. The biggest advantage of Himeko being in this team is being with Gallagher.
3. Kalpagni isn't a must have. Salsotto should still work but change the rope to BE main stat.
4. Grand Duke should still be better in PF. The only way I can see Cavalry work in PF is if she is with another character that would keep breaking enemies for her.

If anything, this is a testament to how you take advantage of MOC buffs, meta conditions, and available resources to push characters to their limits. I'll keep an eye out for other crit pieces while I continue to farm for boothill, but I guess that means I'll mostly keep himeko on duke for now. I sadly don't have firefly yet and I'm still on the fence of pulling her (not a question of if I can. It's if I want to. If you have insight, I'd be really thankful!) so this alternative break build for her is very alluring to me just to give purpose to all the double crit relics the cavern has been giving me LOL.

Might try this on my Himeko for my second break team, but RM and Gallagher are on my first team w/Boothill. I'm thinking Himeko/HMC/Pela/Gallagher as the comp, while I put HuoHuo on the first team or something.
Is Himeko super break better than Himeko Topaz? If so, is a hybrid build the way to go for general use?
Himeko Topaz has never been a really good pair. If you want a Himeko for general use, it is still better to go for her standard critical build.

A big reason I didn’t pull firefly is that i already have a built himeko. Good to know She is excels at break as well. No regrets!
Good! I found a lot of double crit pieces, and I was annoyed (specially when a piece with SPD,DMG and Break turned out 4 spd 12 dmg 12 Rate and 0 rolls in Break😡). Then I realised that Boothill and my queen Himeko can use it

The LC is actually barely helping Himeko here. Would really appreciate if they release a true break-focused Erudition LC.
Is the After the Charmony Fall lightcone better than her other 4 star options for this build?
I really wanted to test it but I only got 1 Charmony Fall after trying to get Jade's LC. I do think it will do better since it will also help Himeko be consistent with Cavalry outside of the current MOC's turbulence. The 250% BE requirement is pretty high.

I love Himeko more than anything, so im always willing to rebuild her. But the question is: is this build viable without Ruan Mei? Other than Harmony TB my only 5 star supports are Robin and Bronya.
This build on Himeko doesn't work w/o HTB and RM. Only Gallagher is replaceable although his role is crucial for this particular stage.

My previous Himeko video was on pure CRIT build and I had an extra ULT while the enemy is already dead. Problem was that the team was sustainless. The biggest advantage of this team I'd say is having Gallagher, a sustain.

Nothing beats Ice set on her for now except Genius set when enemy is weak to both Ice + Quantum.

No other LC would've helped here aside from Sparkle's LC. It allowed Himeko to hit a much more decent CRIT:CDMG ratio.
