Yes it is! It’s called Crystal Peak Lookout and it’s in Idaho! & I completely agree! I see so many unique places now and I love it! However, you can find lookouts for rent that are significantly cheaper on the recreation.gov website. Usually though, those ones get booked quite a bit in advance. This one does too but not as much as the others as they are so cheap.

@@ms.yomomc313 If you have the proper clothing on it isn’t bad! The one thing that was difficult though was nighttime and having to use the bathroom and stoke the fire. Between the two and having to put on all of our layers just to use the bathroom and walk all the way down to the outhouse, we didn’t get any sleep😅 You could also go in the summer though! & I’m glad you liked watching through the video!
