    Thanks for making this video. I felt sad the first time I dropped my shiny new DR650 and broke the clutch lever (That was a fun ride home! I used a branch as a fulcrum and a hair elastic to keep it together!). Drops happen. Parts can be replaced. It's a dual-sport, it would look weird if it wasn't dirty and scratched up. When you damage your bike, only then is it truly yours. :)

    Great video! I’m looking to buy a T7 Extreme in the near future and wanted to see how it falls because i’m not a motocross pro (haven’t ever ridden one) but did start on bigger adventure bikes and learned quite a lot of offroading! One question i do have. How is the exhaust hanger after so many falls? how many times did it bend and had to bend it back? What is your experience with it? I see you have the stock fat muffler? Did you find any solution to this issue? It’s the only thing that makes me afraid to fall on the right side!

    • @Gwiedert
      @Gwiedert  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      As you can tell, this is a video from 2 years ago. A lot has changed since then. Yes the exhaust hanger bents, and you can only bend it back a certain amount of times till it breakes. I made my own exhaust hanger a while ago which is flexible. I rode with the stock hanger for 2 years without major issues, so I wouldn't bother changing it right after getting the bike.

    Hola Guido. Que buen video. Mucho que analizar ver y aprender del video. Linda moto. Felicitaciones. Gracias por compartir estos momentos que los demás ocultan como si su conducción fuera perfecta. El control de tracción es necesario? Aprender a regular el gas y una buena llanta es definitivo. Que tanto resiste las caídas la T7?.se desajusta mucho?

    • @Gwiedert
      @Gwiedert  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Fabio, I don't speak your language, but if I understood it correctly. It does take the beating quite well, had to replace my handlebar, headlight, front fender, brakelever, and snapped a few mounting tabs from some covers. Other than that she is just fine. Traction control is unnecesary on an adv bike if you ask me. Hope to have answered your questions.

    nice nice!!! any issues with that stock exhaust?

    • @Gwiedert
      @Gwiedert  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It bents/turns, and damages the swingarm. But as long as you keep bending it back, it's not too bad. I actually put a couple of heavy duty tiraps around the swingarm where the exhaust touches. Prevents a bit of damage.

    as a dirt rider i dont understand why street riders and new riders think its a good idea to learn how to ride dirt on 450lb machines

      I agree ! I have a T7 and love it, but would i throw it around a muddy track, nope I would get a 250 to do that, would I ride to a different continent on road and smooth tracks, absolutely - it was design ed for this !

      I don't think of selling it. Have customized it during the winter to my own taste. If you happen to be interested, I will soon post a video of the final result.

    You are showing the biggest weakness of both the bike and the rider. The T7 is not a great slow riding enduro bike unless you know how to do it with this bike. You have to learn. All your stunts are due to loss of control of the front wheel at slow speeds due to the terrain you chose to ride in and the top heavy quality takes you down because of it. Learn to ride it or just keep making these types of videos for fun.

    • @Gwiedert
      @Gwiedert  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am learning. And what you fail to see, is that these "crashes" are usually after several succesful attempts. They are mainly caused by fatigue, plus the top heaviness of the bike for sure. But like I said, learning comes with falling, no way around it. Have you watched any of my other videos too?

      @@Gwiedert Understood, but the visuals are implying something you shouldn't be implying to someone who is glossing over this model of bike. It would be nice if you added a disclaimer. Understanding context is important. Happy Riding.
