Looks and sounds brilliant. I've done all my brewing in the old plastic fermenter and then bottling it. But my back is at the stage that it is getting beyond me. I think I need a bit of education on all these alternatives.
When are you fitting a thermowell into the 4" Cap mate please. I need a thermowell to the middle of the kegs without breaking the side of the vessel !!!
That is a fair point. We do not get many people use the termowell these days as it's easier just to use the pill hydrometer. If we get enough requests for this we will do it though.
@@KegLand Thanks mate; but a calibrated thermometer connected to a proper heating and cooling system is still a preference over the pill (as great as it is). Also, a 4” cap is useable on other systems - which is extra sales !!! :-)
Do you know the correct dip tube line length for the 58 Liters KegMenter? I forgot to shorten it on my first batch and it left extra beer in the bottom because I think the extra tube line hit the bottom limited the float from going lower.
Yes cutting the dip tube a bit shorter is the way to go. The exact length will also vary a bit on how much hops and other material you invisage you have on the bottom of the fermenter. This is difficult because you cant see it. Have you ever thought about using a FermZilla All Rounder?
Have you tried dry hopping loose with pellets using that floating dip tube? I was wondering if that design would help reduced clogged poppets? Also, do you know if a Clear Beer Draught System can fit in there? Would be really nice to ferment and dry hop loose in one fermenter.
The clear beer draught system is ok but honestly the floating dip tube works just as well and is a fraction of the cost and can be purchased here: www.kegland.com.au/fermentasaurus-ss-float-60cm-silicone-dip-tube.html
We use #univog for disinfection and cleaning of kegs 💪🏻 ozonewater you can also use to clean your equipment in company 👌 more safety for your production
We do have some UK distributors so you can order the Kegmenters through one of our distributors. The map can be found here: www.kegland.com.au/distributor/
Hello, i have done my first frementing in this tank.. just love it.. Do you have a plan for anny cooling coil, wuld realy love that =) i se SS have for the uni-tank but that is 6" TC , so im hoping fir you to make one whit 4" TC Cheers Erlend
Yes, if you fit one of these 2200 watt elements to the side of these then you can heat in the kegmenter. Makes a fantastic inoculation vessel. www.kegland.com.au/2200-watt-stainless-steel-heating-element.html
I went into a homebrew store around 1999 and got funny looks because I wanted to run those wine style airlocks on beer
a video on how to clean the kegmenters easy would be nice.. I have the 118l kegmenter
Thanks for the suggestion!

seems like a decent and affordable SS option for pressure fermenting and transfers. Do you export these to europe?
you can try www.brewolution.com/

I wish the two smaller sized ones was available with a couple tri-clamp ferules at the bottom too. Say one 2" and one 1,5".
GREAT VIDEO THEY LOOK GREAT.
WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO BE SELLING SPUNDING VALVES?
sorry must have missed this one. You can get this here www.kegland.com.au/blowtie-diaphragm-spunding-valve-kit.html
These are awesome! Will you have somewhere in NZ that will supply them? They're a bit big to put in the checked in luggage. Cheers Tim
If you ask the guys at www.brewshop.co.nz they might be able to bring some out for you. They are ordering stuff from us in full container loads.
KegLand Ok. Thanks I'll send them an email
Any distribution in the US yet?
Yes you can get these from More Beer:
www.morebeer.com/products/kegmenter-fermentation-keg-132-gal.html
So once you drill and install the heating element, will it still keep pressure?
Please tell me where you got that tri clamp on the little keg
it's a standard 4inch tri-clover clamp so you can get them on our website.
Great at piece of equipment.
Is it possible to use it a 1 bbl kegmenter with the Thermowell?
Where can I get it in México
Thanks
Yes absolutely
Do you guys plan on releasing anything for these to make dry hoping easy? Some sort of tee with a valve?
Yes we do. It's funny that you say that. We have a really cool new device called a hop bong that will be released very soon.
@@KegLand awesome, I got a 58L right now with a 29L on the way. Looking forward to ripping this new bong
@@cheechooj haha. Yes. Me too!

How much do they weigh? I am all in but I would need to know if it will crush the casters.
Drop us an email to beer@kegland.com.au and we can weigh them for you. I'd go with the heavy duty wheels.

I got mine from Williams brewing, but I also saw they have them available at More Beer, and a few other homebrew shops
More beer and Williams brewing are your best bets.
