i thought i could do logic gates bc im a computer student so i skipped this topic in my January attempt but they gave a diode mixed question so i had to leave that question in my paper😞 finally understood solving of mixed questions because of you sir. thank you so much👍🏻💛
the first diode diagram is of AND gate and the second part is NOT gate, so put 4 values accordingly. you will 0-0 =0, 0-1=0, 1-0=0, 1-1=1, and now apply NOT to this, so it will give you 1s to first three and 0 to last. thereby 5V and honestly, even if you don't know the procedure, apart from 5V, there isn't any answer which would... actually be suitable soo

Sir pls reply: Doubt 1:@3:30 why no current through resistor? I think this is a circuit branch and not an open circuit. @1:22 , how we said that that region is at Higher potential? It may happen that due to current in resistor, the potential of that region decreases from 5 to negative.

Answer is 5V as the npn transistor is in reverse bias for the pn junction to be in forward bias and therefore for the current to be zero Vo is going to be 5 😊

@@surajshaw115 actually there won't be any drop since current here is 0 and as per ohms law V (voltage drop) = I*R, so no voltage drop at all , full 5v at the output !

Using node-potential method, we find that both diodes are forward biased, so they act as open circuit.... due to this, we find that the potential at the junction of the 2 resistors is also 0, and if we go towards right side of the resistor (the one towards the transistor), we will get a negative potential (or so I thought)... which means that the diodes across base-emitter and base-collector are both reverse-biased, so no current will pass through the transistor, which explains that no current is actually passing through the entire right part of the circuit, so there is no potential drop across the load resistor, hence V_0 = 5... I know that the answer is correct, but I am not at all sure, if the method was correct or not...

5V is the answer. Both diodes are FB so current will flow in it only!
