I live in the US, and I won't drive over 15 minutes for anything. I've been lucky to always be able to find excellent housing near my work, my friends, church, shopping, everything. I'd never drive an hour, for anything, except for a vacation to the coast or the mountains. For vacations, I'll drive 3-4 hours away.

Post code snobbery. It could be a house they would never look at if were any where else. But because it has the " right" Post code they would purchase and pay more. I had my eye on a beautiful brand new ene town house. But because it was the wrong Post code for hubs. He refused to make an offer. We ened up in a town house also and end unit right Post code. And ended up the rental neighbours next door. With police out twice a week and four or five times every Friday night was part night. Needless to say, three years later. It finally sold at a loss. Because the land lord could be sweet talked. Made life hell for the the three other owners. All of which sold within five years.

Berkshire has become the epitome of the label "bedroom community". Home owners head into London for work and recreation, then come home to occasionally garden or sleep. Fewer villages have a community feel; fewer people even know their neighbors. Sad, but true.
West Wycombe is a lovely town. It's busy, but not overwhelmingly crowded. It's a pleasant place to live.

Despite being in a generally affluent part of the country, Wycombe contains some considerably "deprived" areas. It seems that way, but it is not, because the first and last responsibility you have as a buyer or potential tenant is to make yourself happy, and NOT the agent. Agents want you to buy or rent, and you want yourself to be happy, so especially with homes, self satisfaction should be paramount, because otherwise you will be miserable in that house every day, and will have to soon make plans to move again, which is where I am at this very moment because I moved in to the apartment where I am currently living against my own wishes

The Natural one, about which you are talking, and the artificial one, which is also a need because when met, it brings folks much pleasure and comfort which end up supporting the satisfaction of the Natural need. For instance, when people, especially children, are in bed sick, they have the Natural need which is to get better, but an artificial need such as entertainment can ease their discomfort while recovering towards the Natural need
