What a lovely video you've made. Escrick is my home village but you've still managed to come up with a fact or two that I didn't know. I haven't lived there since I was a young child so was delighted to see the font I was christened in and houses that I lived in many years ago. Thank you.

For me, Escrick was the place you travelled through to get to York (from Selby). It's a very nice place though!

Another lovely gothic church. I wonder if the recess was just part of the original design? The lace carving is stunning.
We reckon it was yeah, I found nothing about it but that's our best guess. And yes, loved the lace!
