I think NRS are no longer passionate about making a good fighting game ever since MK11 came out it only went downhill from there it's just sad MKX was mad good and it's insane how backwards they've gone with MK11 and MK1.

The unfortunate thing about the DLC balance is that a lot of recent games don’t have this issue as much anymore.
Guilty Gear Strive. All DLC characters that were known as high tier during the initial first few months, all were thought to be mid or low because they hadn’t been figured out. And even then, the base roster easily has a number of top tiers. Tekken 8. While eddy was a very good scrub killer, he is not any more powerful than other characters against competent players.
SF6, whilst had 2 very good characters (rashid and akuma) but was they still had fairly good weakness.

I agree totally, my point is that they might make them just a little bit better just for sales but it doesn't stay like tat almost at all.... Thank you for your input!

Only 2? A.K.I. and Ed are amazing DLC characters.
