I had no idea that you were able to conduct ANOVAs in excel, I thought you had to have a special type of software downloaded like SPSS. Thank you for the useful tutorial.

Wow this video really helped me a lot.
But I just have a one problem. What do you mean by reject the null hypothesis? Does that mean that I can accept my hypothesis?

Interesting seeing the differences between SPSS and Excel. Easier to conduct an ANOVA in Excel, but more in depth in SPSS. Pros and cons.

      Hello Dear, Grande Todd
I hope you are fine and I have some questions and need your help.
Actually, I was going through the videos on you tube about Anova by you.
      I explain my experimental design.
Actually I inoculated 3 microorganisms (ASS-ASL and ASY using different concentrations i.e. 50-75 and 100ul/L). I wanted to check if these organisms at different concentrations affect the growth of wheat seedlings. I had 4 replicates for each treatment and 4 CK control for each treatment (No inoculation of microgranisms). As I am not clear, I can send you my raw data. I checked if different dosages of microbes promote or demote the biomass of seedlings including (SHOOT LENGTH , ROOT LENGTH, FRESH WEIGHT, DRY WEIGHT SHOOT FRESH ROOT WEIGHT, ROOT DRY WEIGHT).
According to my understanding I want to do ANOVA and plot pretty graphs (2-3).
Could you please help me in this matter? How to contact you. Could you please send your email, so that I can send you my data.
      Thanks
      Eagerly waiting for your response!!
      Best wishes,
      Abdul

What if the assumption of homogeneity (Levene's test) was violated for a pretest? What alternative method can I use to compare a pretest mean score and postest mean score?

Good evening Dr. Grande. May i ask if how did you edit your video and what app did you used? How to take a video with the whole sheet? I'm a grade 9 student from the Philippines and it would be our project in research.Thank you very much!

I find excel easier to use than SPSS, but I am a little disappointed that excel cannot comprehensively test all of the assumptions of ANOVA like SPSS can.

Do not select the first row of the categories excel will create default one's. You'll have to modify the column name yourself.
