Thanks! We used a pattern we learned on Andros called the “sweet island girl” which is essentially a gotcha style fly. White body, yellow dumbbell eyes for high tide and bead chain for low tide.
Today we tried the salt pans by Galloway beach. Only able to walk out a very short distance then sinking to our knees. I believe you guys were all there
@@karlpeter2285 yes, certainly there are flats that are easier to walk than others. We were staying near deans blue hole and honestly the beach break was so fun to fish too. Snapper, Trigger fish, big jacks and cruising bones.
Thanks. We are staying at kooters in mangrove bush. I watched your video. Very good. We crossed that little foot bridge then tried the salt flat to the left. Couldn't get out due to soft bottom. Tomorrow we are kayaking out to the flats to the west of us. Did you fish them too?
Great video - stoked to stumble upon this. You really captured the mood and feel of a few of those spots. Count your blessings for the weather you scored! Here's a link to Frances' incredible boat rebuild: th-cam.com/video/lkpUlvQyOsA/w-d-xo.html
