I am planning a trip there in September. Can't wait! I'm looking up the Yellowstone Angler now
Right on! Going to be great
Spawning shrimp all day! Can’t wait to replicate this trip in less than two months!
Hell ya! Let us know how it goes.
u guys rock
Thanks!
Couple guys being dudes eh 🫎
Just gotta be dudes sometimes when you’re a coupla guys
Thanks Aldo and Crew. The Ontario Fishing Program as well as Rob at the Algoma Kinniwabi Association for setting this us.
We are so lucky to have such great partners!
I'm going up to Lodge 88 at the end of June. Counting down the sleeps
You’ll love it!!!
Great show guys! Thanks for putting together this every year. What is it now, 3 years running in this format with all the prizes and such? Chat GPT questions were "interesting". Genus Thymallus for Grayling is apparently because they smell like Thyme. The char are more commonly referred to as Blueback Trout in Maine. Interestingly they don't get that big there and are a staple forage species for Maine Brookies. Seems a bit crazy to me considering how large Artic Char get in their Nothern Range.
Thanks for watching! Yes, 3 years running now. Agree the chat GPT questions were a journey for us all.
Really cool the see the community come out for the live and to see the comments. Thanks guys for putting out all the great content and putting together an awesome giveaway. Congrats to all the winners!
Thanks for joining us! So fun.
Great show Aidas, Aldo and Mitchy.Congratulations to all the winners! Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!!! 2025 Tightlines!!
Happy new year!
Ottawa is good musky fishing I got 10 on the Rideau this year
Hell ya!
I’m looking forward to targeting smallies on the fly and doing some outings with Ottawa Fly Society! 😊
Nice!
Strained all day boyeeee
🍹
I'm looking forward to catching fish
That’s nice
Does anybody know what day the Christmas / end of year podcast is? It's live right?
Yep, it's live at 7pm Dec 27th.
When is the Christmas Special?
Tonight at 7pm EST!
This old hardy rod 7wt that was passed down from my partners dad to me is my fave rod
Love it.
Would love to get out to the Margaree! Has a trip that was cancelled a few years ago and still really want to get back there
The margaree is an amazing place!
I’d also go with the clouser 👌
Hard not to, right?
Heat holder socks and some simms fold over mitts!
Boom!
Clouser! With A little green/chartreuse in there
A safe bet!
Best fishing memory this year, was catching my first laker up in Muskoka
Yes! Love that.
I can crush a lil bacon and cream cheese bagel before hitting the water. Nice fish!
Ou bacon AND cream cheese
Looking forward to trout opener and potentially a saltwater trip this year!
Woo!
Looking forward to catching more beautiful fish!
Always a good goal!
I’d certainly bring a trusty clouser minnow! White and chartreuse
Hells yes!
Montana would be an awesome birthday fly trip with the family!
Big time!
Sausage-egg McMuffin is a good one!
There it is!
Toque and a good pair of gloves!
Hands gotta stay warm.
Fav bass fly would have to be a top water popper
same!
Rubber legs with a midge dropper!
Bingo!
Favourite fishing memory was fishing lakes for bass with my son!
Continuing my steelie/rainbow trout mission!
The mission continues.
Same as Aldo: sausie eggie but with a black coffee
Bingo!
Hand knit socks, as much wool as possible
Wool is the secret!
Late August so I would want to chase some bass or even a cheeky carp with Doug
Perfect.
100% pike … might be my #1 goal for 2025
GREAT goal
Would need to try my buddy Jim’s pink micro bugger because that’s my secret weapon
Jim's got you covered!
First brookie on a dry dropper 😁
Nice one!
Closer all dayyy
Woooooo
Really good gloves x2. Thermos with hot water.
Gotta stay warm!
Would love to get a cuda one day
Cuda, so much fun!
Manta ray shrimp pattern in different weights!
heck ya!
Favourite fishing memory of 2024 was catching an off-the-dock 4 pound bass this past summer!
That’s a great catch!
Looking forward to more carp days, and of course more salt.
Carp and salt! Perfect combo!
Coffee and doughnuts!
A must
My heated vest and socks. Game Changer!
Ou the vest!
Ouffff hard choice. Maybe my Sage Maverick 8 weight?
Maverick’s are siiiick
Torn between my own creation, a baitfish slider, or a Clouser. But I'd probably have to throw a Clouser 😂
💯
Well a rubber legs and midge dropper was what I heard!
That’s the word on the strewt
So many good ones with guests and friends. But watching my son catch his first fish, solo, from cast to net was by far the best!
That’s the one!
