Nancy, Craig, Joe and co.!!!! I live in Michigan and I have a suggestion! If you love Christmas and all the magic it brings, a visit to Bronner's Christmas Wonderland in Frankenmuth, Michigan, is a must. Imagine a place where the holiday spirit is alive all year round-Bronner's is the world’s largest Christmas store, spanning over 1.7 football fields of festive wonder. You’ll be mesmerized by the endless displays of ornaments, lights, nativity scenes, and decorations from around the globe, catering to every theme, style, and tradition imaginable. Whether you're looking for personalized ornaments, rare collectibles, or unique gifts, Bronner's has something for every Christmas enthusiast. The store itself is beautifully decorated, with twinkling lights and enchanting displays that will transport you straight to a winter wonderland. Located in the charming Bavarian-inspired town of Frankenmuth, your visit to Bronner's can also include exploring the town's unique shops, delicious German-inspired cuisine, and cozy holiday vibes. It's more than a shopping trip; it's a magical Christmas experience you'll never forget!
The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.😅 You're just there at the worst time of year for weather that's all. I'm from just North of San Francisco, and I miss it so much. Thanks for a little snapshot of home.❤
What fun! I definitely have to visit that nickelodeon arcade (or I forget what it's called) whenever I get back to SF. So far the trip reminds me so much of the peaceful parts of various video games like GTA3-SA and Bioshock Infinite. Those are otherwise a shoot-em-up, but the SanFran setting and the pier-side early 1900's aesthetic takes me back to the atmosphere of these games which themselves are already from 20 years ago. And in video games you don't get to taste all the great treats.
@butchc9226 that's the Museum Mechaniq and it's a San Francisco favorite. When I first visited it it was a tiny hole in the wall, and even when I took my children there in the 80s, it was kind of dank and dark underneath the Cliff House restaurant, and was sort of like going into your grandma's attic. They really brightened the place up now. Not sure if I approve or not LOL kind of liked it dank and spooky. Of course now the Laughing Lady is there. She is the spookiest of all. She used to be at the Funhouse when it existed back in the early sixties. She scared me to death. They had her perched way up over a doorway and she rocked back and forth and literally laughed this maniacal laugh all day long. She eventually was purchased by an eccentric millionaire, whose home I was lucky enough to visit in San Francisco. His house was like a museum, just like the Addams family. Anyway I guess he died or something, and I am happy to see the Laughing Lady is still around and cared for.
When my brother and his wife would host Thanksgiving in the Bay Area, my daughter and I would explore SF every Black Friday. We would ride the ferry over, shop the market...go to Pier 39 and buy funny socks at the sock store, eat at Fisherman's Wharf (diff than Pier 39, you were mostly at Pier 39 the first half of the video) and stop at Ghirardelli's, go to Coit Tower, ride the cable car and then brave the crowds at the mall. Sometimes we went to Golden Gate, sometimes to a museum. I lived in The City for several years as a young woman, but my SoCal girl had not, so we did the touristy things, and that was our Black Friday when she was a child. Good memories. I am glad you all had a wonderful time there. When the fog clears and the rain dissapates, San Francisco is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
I'm glad you all had a good time in SF. Refreshing to hear a positive out look for once. The city has been doing a great job cleaning up the streets as of recent.
I love the monkeys playing musical instruments.Especially the one with the yellow things! 😂 Does Craig like to play any modern games on consoles, phone or computer? I must admit that I get quite addicted to them and I’m almost 50!
I love it how you filmed this. It feels like we are with the Family on this fun journey to San Fran. They've added a lot to the area since I was there way back in the day . I would defiantly purchase some food at Bubbas', and Rubber Ducks. When you went inside the ice cream shop I so wished I could reach through the monitor and ask the guy for a scoop of that Java blend of ice cream. There's nothing like the salty air when you are near The Bay.
In case you go back to pier 39, try /Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant! It’s an iconic place there , with fun atmosphere and views too.😊Also, the Aquarium is awesome.
I love your videos, very pleasant to watch. Just wanted to mention something you may not be aware of, you say Craig's name quite a bit. You said it 15 times just in the first 10 min of the video.
I've never been to San Francisco but I've seen a couple of movies of the city and I know this is family-friendly but there's a few rated R movies that have seen like the 48 hours movies 1 and 2 Mrs Doubtfire The Rock 1996 Sean Connery Nicolas Cage Homeward Bound 2 Lost in San Francisco and the Clint Eastwood movie Escape from Alcatraz I know there's a lot more but those are the ones that I know from the top of my head. great episode tho
Hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving now I will give you Christmas jokes. From the king of jokes Branden what did Mrs claus say to Santa about the weather looks like rain dear lol funny
Really like these videos. It kind of feels like us viewers also went on vacation to SF.

@GrannyGooseOnTH-cam thanks for the info. 🙂
Louisianan checking in, Boudin is pronounced like Boo-Dan, at least in La. It is. I really love your family and videos.
Thank you! I’m pretty sure I mispronounced it the whole time 😊
The biscoff cookie butter is one of my favorites

He used to play angry birds. But now he doesn’t really play any games. He loved that arcade though 😊
@ Love Angry Birds. Yeah the arcade is fun. We must drive up there again and go sometime. It’s been years since I went in there.
As a pedestrian and total bystander, Craig seemed to really enjoy the store with all those ducks.
He really did!! 😊
I think went at a great time of year. When I went (quite a few years ago), it was week before Christmas & was very busy. Loved it none the less.
I agree! It wasn’t really busy anywhere except for a few restaurants. 😊❤️

It seems it will always rain 🌧 one or 2 days in San Francisco...but you still can enjoy everything it has to offer
Exactly! 😊
In case you go back to pier 39, try /Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant! It’s an iconic place there , with fun atmosphere and views too.😊Also, the Aquarium is awesome.
I definitely hope we get to go back! There was so much that we didn’t get to do!
I love your videos, very pleasant to watch. Just wanted to mention something you may not be aware of, you say Craig's name quite a bit. You said it 15 times just in the first 10 min of the video.
Sweet potato fries with maple sugar, is my favorite. Healthy I don’t think so but so worth it!!
❤️❤️❤️
That looks like the arcade they go to in princess diaries
It is! 😊
I’m shocked at how few people are there!!!
The weather keeps them away, I was there a few years ago now the week before Christmas & it was busy.
It was great! It did get busier at night and on Saturday
Boudin pronounced Boo-din great place for a hearty meal, did you get back to try one?
We went back but just had a pastry because we weren’t hungry enough to try the chowder. 😊
