Testing MAC SCR Battery Charger SRC242017 24V VOLT 20A AMPS SMH SY50 Connector GOLF CART

Jumped off the high side of the relay to check and see if the charger works. Charger seems to work? Let me know if there is a way to test these chargers. Thanks

The best way to test them is to charge a battery with them. A multi- meter will also tell you what the output is for volts and amps.

The question is where do you find parts for this thing. The computer board exploded on the one I have so I have rewired it to work without the computer board. Now it works better and will work for another 50 years. They put the computer boards in everything now so they can get you to buy a new one every few years when the computer fails. I have chargers that are over 40 years old and still work. This one did not even last two years before the board failed.
